Subj: Something average people cannot relate to
—
I used to work normal jobs.
9-5, 11-7, weekdays, weekends, overnight. I worked them all.
Working these jobs gave me one very important piece of knowledge.
That piece of knowledge is this:
Working jobs is for slobs. It isn't for me.
I couldn't stand being around these normal people.
Working a job was like a slow suffocation to me.
The average people I worked with were beneath me, and I make no apologies about it.
They even said the same thing to me.
They asked me right to my face: “Why are you working here with us? You don't belong here. You belong in Hollywood or somewhere.”
Here was my answer: “I don't know.”
That was the god's honest truth. I didn't know what else to do.
I had as bad of an education as these people did and I didn't know another way.
All I knew was, “Work a job, get loans, go into debt, marry some broad, retire at 65 and then enjoy life in retirement.”
It seemed dumb to me but that's what every person told me to do.
It wasn't until I took my destiny into my own hands that the light appeared to me and I learned the true secret of happiness.
It wasn't until I stopped watching tv like a fool, stopped reading novels like a slob, and started reading business books that I learned the way.
See, there was not a single person in my real life who ever gave me good advice.
(They weren't even awake, how could they give good advice?)
I had to find my great advice from the men of history.
Great men like Napoleon Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich.
These great men of history gave me the great secret.
What is the great secret?
It seems so obvious in hindsight, but here it is…
GET RICH.
So many poor people tell me money doesn't buy happiness, and then they clock-in to a job with the rest of the slobs.
Listen up…
I'm not here to buy happiness.
I'm here to buy my freedom.
Do you know how you buy freedom?
You get rich.
You cannot have freedom when you're forced to work for an hourly wage with the rest of the hourly slaves.
I still have those horrible memories of living like a normal person, sitting in traffic at 9am and again at 5pm, working with people who were beneath me, knowing there was a better way but not knowing what the better way was.
But it's so easy and it's so simple…
Just get rich.
I tell you what boy, I've been rich and I've been poor. Being rich is better.
They say more money, more problems. Yeah, that's is true, at least you don't have to hang around with cslobs when you're rich.
How do you get rich?
You have to stop wasting your time doing stupid stuff.
All of the following must go away:
- Television shows
- Novels
- Dating
- Drinking
- Smoking
- Internet scrolling
- Masturbation
- Porno
Here's what has to happen:
- EXTREME FOCUS
- EXTREME DESIRE
Getting rich is all about these traits.
Like Napoleon Hill said in his great book, the art of getting rich involves doing two things: THINKING and GETTING RICH.
So many retards skip the part about THINKING and they try to jump directly into getting rich.
Good luck getting nowhere but right back to your day job.
If you want to get rich, you have to do what it takes to get rich.
To get rich, you first have to envision getting rich in your mind.
You have to think on it, concentrate on it, build the wealth in your mind before you build it in reality.
This does not mean envisioning yourself on a yacht with big-tittied babes in bikinis, this does not involve envisioning yourself in a Lamborghini.
All of this is mental masturbation promoted by a book and movie called the secret.
You want to know what the secret of “The Secret” is?
Here it is…
They get dumb fucks like you to concentrate on yachts, cars, and broads.
Then you become blinded and give your money away because you're so stupid you believe that envisioning yourself in a Lamborghini will buy it for you.
It won't. But here's what will…
You must envision the way you wish to do business.
You must envision the business itself.
You must go through every single step in your mind before the business can be built in reality.
Procrastination can often be preparation because the idea needs to build itself in the mind before it can ever build itself in reality.
Like Nikola Tesla said:
My method is different.
I do not rush into actual work.
When I get a new idea I start at once building it up in my imagination and I make improvements and I operate the device in my mind.
When I have gone so far as to embody everything in my invention, every possible improvement I can think of, and when I can see no fault anywhere, I put into concrete form the final product of my brain.”
And THIS is the essence of ‘Thinking and Growing Rich.”
It doesn't mean imagining yourself in a yacht filled with big-tittied babes, champagne, and hundred dollars bills.
It means envisioning the business you wish to build.
Envision from the very beginning to the very end.
Spend the time alone lost in thought, creating the future in your mind.
Then, when the preparation is complete and you have embodied your business totally in your mind, this is what you do:
ACTUALLY BUILD THE BUSINESS.
Yes, you actually have to do the work required to build the business and get rich.
Remember, Think AND Grow Rich.
That's TWO THINGS you have to do.
You have to think about it (envision it like Tesla) and then you have to actually GROW RICH.
How do you grow rich?
You grow rich by actually doing the work and building the business.
Nothing was ever built without first being envisioned in the mind, but also nothing was ever built … without actually being built!
Do you want the big-tittied babes drinking champagne on yachts with hundred dollars bills hanging out of your zipper?
Great.
To get there, start at the very beginning and imagine the business - not the results of the business - but imagine the real business in your mind.
Then, go into MONK MODE and build the goddamn business.
It's as easy as that.
Think…
and then grow rich.
And then get the hell out of the regular jobs filled with regular slobs.
Be better than them.
Yeah, you're goddamn right I said it.
Just like me.
Until next time.
Your man,
-Victor Pride

Get Rich.
Sounds good to me.
Vic, you are my biggest inspiration. I appreciate everything you do so damn much.
I’m grabbing Monk Mode today and going into monk mode with you brother.
Thanks for sharing, can’t wait to read it!
Vic, picked up Monk mode yesterday, great material, ties everything you write in these shorter articles together and putting a little skin in the game by purchasing it creates more of a psychological boost to be accountable to the concepts and follow through.
I have a question: to what extent do you feel ‘monk mode’ is an all or none phenomenon? What if for some reason a person can’t follow the advice given for a given period of time and is only 75% monk mode, will it be 75% effective or much less so given how all the steps magnify each other. I understand that anyone can rationalize in their minds why they can’t follow something and part of the growth comes from simply finding a way and making no excuses.
The underlying reason I ask is more to understand the optimum behavior when we are not intent to be strictly in ‘monk mode’. Does it make sense to sort of warm up to it and warm down when leaving it? I suppose the answer will reveal itself after completion.
I am not Victor and I haven’t read Monk Mode yet, but I think that your question has close ties with similar questions regarding the Carnivore diet?
Some people ask, can I eat some carbs while being on the Carnivore diet? The answer is, if you do then you won’t be on the carnivore diet.
Based on what I know about Monk mode which is a time interval in which you refrain from sexual intercourse, alcohol, drugs, going out and similar unproductive activities then I would say that you can’t be less than 100% monk mode. Either you’re in or you’re out.
Monk mode originates from way back when PUAs would burn out from constantly going out so they would announce going into monk mode to recuperate. Now it’s popular than ever among the RPers and MGTOW community.
Victor grasps on the subject in the sexual transmutation article. You can go off without masturbating for days, but once you do it you’d want to do it again. I believe this is the main motive behind monk mode as well.
Money is Power. Money gives you control and it gives you options. It is merely a means of value. In the past we traded goods and services. Now we obtain money for providing goods/services which we can then use to purchase other goods/services. It is just a game, and the money is the key to freedom!
That was a great article vic, a classic! It was only yesterday I started re-reading Think And Grow Rich, and voila, once again, an article pops up that talks about exactly what was on my mind. It really is strange how many times this has happened.
Monk Mode is a work of art. I read it, there are some habits in there that will improve your life whether you do the program 100% or not. Monk mode helped me clear my mind. My personal favorite part of the book are the meditations.
You are the greatest artist there is. Keep up the good work , Vic. You certainly inspire me to do so.
Excellent article. In today’s hyper connected world, it’s probably even tougher to just sit there and think about your future and your business than it was in the past. Since it’s tougher, that means there should be plenty of opportunity out there. I’m going to have to re-read that book again.
Right after I’m done with Monk mode of course.
Fully think things through before you jump in and do them
Just Do It can work at times but it’s a mindset of right now, instant success, and real lasting success doesn’t come instantly
Smash your television up and get to work
I finally have a vision of what kind of blog and business I want to build. It’s something I have skill and experience in so I have plenty of content to build. This article has started the fire.
I love that you titled this post the way you did. Saying that you ‘decided’ has a lot of meaning to me.
Here’s what I mean, people make choices all the time. But rarely do they decide.
Because to decide is to cut off all other options.
A choice is easily distracted.
A decision has singular focus.
To choose is weak, life happens to you.
To decide is powerful, you shape the world around you.
If you want something, decide on it. There is no longer any alternative from that point on.
That’s why Monk Mode is so powerful.
Anyone who resonates with this idea should look up the Latin roots of the word decision.
There is no going back once
you make a decision.
That’s exactly what I was referencing actually haha.
I wrote about ‘Decidere’ a little over a week ago so it’s still fresh in my mind.
I like that this part of the internet is filled with people who understand similar things without having to explain them.
Makes me think of the whole Communist backed agenda of 1% v 99%. People have been so brain washed to hate the 1% that they completely miss the fact that they should strive to be in the 1%. They are happy with mediocrity. While I am far from being anywhere close to the 1%, I hardly am bothered by them, and instead look up to them as inspiration. The question has been asked many times, do CEOs make too much money? The answer, who decides what is too much money?
Fucking lets have it cunt!!!!!!!
A masterpiece as usual!
Fuck Vic,
You know how to write. Goosebumps.
I want to get Monk Mode.
Two questions beforehand though; I’d really appreciate if you could clarify your thoughts on these.
1) With regards to diet, it seems you go back and forth. You initially spoke of a raw carnivore barbarian diet, then told a podcast listener to cook meat, then now again mention you eat the meat raw. Do you cook or eat your food raw, and why do you do this given that humans have had fire for 200,000 years or more? Also, are eggs more potent raw vs cooked?
2) Do you plan to do monk mode indefinitely with sex, aka not having casual sex again? Will you only have sex for procreation? Or is your time away from America still spent living with a girl or chasing girls, etc. I am trying to understand if you advocate for chastity as a life long practice or are more casual about it. How serious is it really, to lose a bit of semen here and there?
Thanks
MJ
“Spend the time alone lost in thought, creating the future in your mind.”
Story of my life lately. Had to scrap it all and create again from scratch.
Does the carnivore diet helps us to deal with idiots and get rich?
I’ve been working a job the past 6 months to save up money while I was working on my blog at the same time. This was a temporary means to an end while I lived the minimalist lifestyle.
SACRIFICE
In December I decided to quit, I’ve saved up enough money to go full scale now. For the next 6 months I’m going to pump all of my blood into the blog.
EXTREME FOCUS
EXTREME CONCENTRATION
EXTREME DESIRE
In addition to this new acquired focus in my life, I am finally adapting to the carnivore diet. The mental clarity and strength it has given me is insane.
Vic, you have taught me more than you can possibly imagine.
I am grateful.
This is so true. I realized this after 1 week in my first and last 9-5 job.
So happy that I found this website 5 years ago and now have my business.
No Fluff no Filler All value.
Any more tips on how to develop the skill of envisioning the future product, business, goal, vision and objectives etc. you want?
I am currently at the stage of procrastination = preparation.
How can we speed up and or use this time to create something to work with when the vision is clear?
I have been writing down as much as I can, while also utilizing decision trees and my own mindmaps/braindumps.
Go into Monk Mode.
This article definitely needs to be made into a video.
