“before the sun rises, i am happy to be alive” :D dam that made my day. ill do 30 dod right fucking now tired of not lighting my ass on fire and staying like a lazy piece of shit
Dope podcast Vic,
Im half way through it so far. Curiosity is killing me. How old is Cody?
Seriously wish I had a group of guys like you to hang around, work with, and lift with. I need to find that people like you.
Victor, the other podcast released this week, on haters, isn’t showing on the podcast page.
Three comments? Really?
This stuff is foundational.
You young guns out there are missing it if you don’t hear the importance of this podcast.
It’s not all about mentorship. In this (audio) stream there are many nuggets to glean from panhandling for the gold. You have to listen, but’s that’s not a strong suit for most.
For the rest of you, the ones that listened to the end of this podcast and got your feelings hurt, the married(twice), with children(7), in debt($45K), old(50’s), overweight(by 55lbs), wearing the golden handcuffs($24hr), enslaved by bad decisions and a lifetime of apathy, reactive instead of proactive…
There IS hope for you. As long as you are breathing there is hope for you. But hope without action is…nothing.
No, you can’t go back.
But you CAN GO FORWARD. You can be better today than yesterday. Not tomorrow. TODAY! Do something TODAY that will make you better than yesterday. AFTER THAT, you can plan for tomorrow. BUT DO SOMETHING TODAY FIRST!
Mentor yourself. Educate yourself. Read. Listen. Work out. Strengthen your mind. Strengthen your body.
But what to do first….
30 Days of Discipline.
It is as billed; boot camp. It’s a start. It’s a beginning. It is not the final solution, but many solutions will come from it.
Take the batteries out of your remote, get off your ass, and turn off the TV with your HAND.
Now download 30 Days of Discipline and GET STARTED.
Were you in the military? Do you remember some recruits that got ‘recycled’ back to the beginning because they sucked? I didn’t recycle then, but I have recycled now. 30DoD is no joke. It was easier to do 60 days of boot camp at 18yrs old than it is to do 30DoD in my 50’s.
Is there hope for me?
Yes.
But without action, hope is nothing.
In this podcast, VIctor asked Cody where he got the insight to quit college, find a mentor, and accelerate his life.
Cody responded, “Being dissatisfied with where you are helps a lot. Helps light a fire under your ass.”
Why is that saying so prolific in our culture? Light a fire under an ass? Who wants their ass burned?
Life is the fire. It’s your ass. It’s burning. You either move and are motivated to do something, or you sit on that fire as it burns, then smolders, and slowly dies out with you as it consumes you, your energy and vitality.
You may be too old to do a lot of things.
You are NOT to old to get better, every day, in every way.
Just do one thing more today than yesterday.
And today, let that be the start of 30DoD.
If 30DoD doesn’t change your life for the better, you may already be dead.
You are awesome :)
Very useful information Victor, thank you!
