  1. Awesome. I need to subscribe to you on soundcloud.

This just me personally: If you’re the only person on the show, I’d keep it around this length, 20-30 minutes. Some guys, like Forney, have great podcasts, but he’s by himself and he talks for 90+ minutes each time, and I just can’t listen that long. Requires too much concentration for me to listen, and I have other things to do, you know?

    Keep it up!

    • 20-30 minutes is the perfect length to listen to on the go as well, e.g. driving or running.
Stop/starting a podcast (or broadcast!) over the course of the day gets frustrating.

  2. AdviceOnTalking says:

Here is advice for your personality for your Podcast. You will immediately become better 2-3x better.

    1. Focus on 20 Minutes.
    2. Focus on a Theme
(2i) Focus on stories related to the theme, some funny or anything your thinking about, and legitimate takeaway advice.
    3. For you personality I would avoid live time/twitter etc questions. It comes across big time you don’t like questions. You are however much better when you have someone with you who’s not slow paced. I.e. Good Looking Loser had high energy and he balanced you out. OR when you are talking about something you feel is concrete whether it is right or wrong.

Example of execution - In your mind you think, I’m going to focus on (2) Fitness.
Legit Advice: You then write some notes from any of your fitness products/blogs. You could plug it in. This makes talking easy.
Funny/Interesting: You then fill in the legit advice with any filler stuff like contrasting your life now with life in the US, anything dumb or silly you notice people doing.

With these notes 20 minutes will be very easy, and you will have a podcast which is both informative and interesting for the observer. Having notes in your brain will mean when you talk its less scattered.

Danger and Play’s Podcast is killer because he just focuses on his strength - answering questions. He is absolutely great at that. And has a ton of stories when responding to questions.

    P.S

    Your welcome.

  3. excellent podcast, you’ve got a relaxed no-nonsense speaking voice vic. i don’t know its sort of like channelling some past knowledge that maybe our forefathers knew but men today forgot.

not much to add besides that

  4. I, too, never understood the concept of group. Even coming from a culture (East Asia) that stresses heavily on “we” mentality, I never really accepted that myself. I have had friends from here to there but never identified myself with any group. Never liked feeling like third wheel. It’s pretty cool to hear that there are more people who share similar thought as I do. I thought I was the only one.

I wish my friends had direct honesty like Victor Pride.

You said you would prefer hiring Americans over foreigners because of quality work. Most people wouldn’t have said that in fear of backlash and how it might affect their business.

Always appreciate honesty. But then again, when you are entrepreneur making money online without having to rot souls in office, it’s easy and natural to be real instead of talking behind masks. I think it carries on to other activities. Confidence, the ability to say “no” without hesitation, and less likely to say the word “sorry”.

Your podcasts can give enough inspiration to some average joe stuck in bumper traffic at 7:30 AM listening to your podcasts in car on his way to working 9 to 5 job. And then he might actually get your message and decide to quit his job in search to work online.

My diet literally changed ever since I read the article about Vince Gironda. Now it’s mainly steak and eggs and I don’t feel bloated and feel more energetic.

If you are thinking about doing more podcasts in the future, wouldn’t it be (kill two birds with one stone) if you did more youtube videos instead?

People can convert youtube videos into mp3.

  5. Holy shit, I didn’t even know you were doing these. I listened to all your podcasts in one session tonight while shadow boxing and hitting the heavy bag at the gym, it got me through it way better than music does.

Honestly fuck what the commenters above wrote. You talk as much as you want, do not operate on these losers’ work schedule. The worst part of your podcasts is when they end. I would happily listen to a Joe Rogan length podcast from you.

“Victor you should make your podcasts shorter because I have to drive to work and I don’t want to have to go to the effort to hit pause and listen to the rest later, boo hoo” fuck that, you ramble on as long as you want victor.

      hahaha!
