Being a professional blog artist is a tremendous job to have and I'm very lucky to have it. But I'm not here to brag, I don't believe I'm any more “special” than you, I just happen to have more knowledge in that area than you do.
I always try and teach what I have learned. That's my job. My motto is: If I needed to know it - someone else needs to know it. But even if you know what you need to do, starting is still the hardest part.
That's why I developed BADNET as a way to teach you some of the insider knowledge I have learned and as a way to get you started on your blog asap. When you learn how much Badnet does for you and how little you have to give in return (it's free) you'll see that it's a total no-brainer.
Years ago, I wanted to start a blog but I didn't know how. I'm not a tech guy and don't pretend to be. I had to have a friend come to my house and install my blog for me and show me what to do and I'm very thankful. Otherwise, I wouldn't even be here. Seriously, I had no idea what to do.
All that technical stuff looks like Martian or Chinese to me. I don't understand it and my brain doesn't like to learn it. That's fine because you don't have to be a genius in every area of life.
There are certain types of people: technical types and creative types. You could say Badnet is for the creative type of person who loves to create and teach and make art but doesn't like the dry and boring technical stuff.
That's what Badnet takes care of. We do the technical stuff so you can concentrate on making art and business. I didn't know what to do to start a real blog, I had a friend do it and it was a great favor, so myself and my behind the scenes team created Badnet to be that friend for you.
Badnet will install your blog and teach you in plain-speak how to use it. I wrote 4 guides for you and you can be sure I wrote them in a simple, easy to read way so that everyone can learn.
Blogging isn't just for the Einsteins of the world. Blogging is a big benefit for the normal Joes and Janes, the free spirits, the meathead bodybuilders, the young bucks and the old wolves, the crazy-eyed entrepreneurs who want their voices heard and their pockets full.
You don't have to be the greatest writer, the most skilled copywriter or be the best speller. I couldn't spell anything without the help of google and I couldn't write an entire paragraph without typos.
You don't have to be a genius, you just have to have a voice and a desire to spread some fire. If you have a voice now you can be heard.
You know something that other people don't know, so why not tell them? Share your knowledge, put your thoughts into words and publish them in a blog post.
The internet is where the people who need to hear you are listening. A blog is simply a way to let the world hear your voice in a format that you own and control.
Badnet gives you ownership. Anyone can have a free blog at tumblr or blogspot, what Badnet offers is your very own website. Instead of yourname.tumblr.com you'll own yourname.com and your domain name will be free for the first year.
Even if you don't make millions of dollars with your blog, you'll make connections you simply could not make otherwise. When you publish a blog post it's instantly available for everyone in the world to read. The people who think like you will be attracted to you like a magnet.
I frequently run into readers. I see them in the shopping malls, in the elevators, in the casinos in Vegas, or walking down the street in Venice Beach. They yell: “Hey, Victor Pride! I love your blog!”
Strangers from India, Scotland and Amsterdam have all met me in the street and told me how much the blog changed their lives.
If reading a blog can change your life, how much do you think owning and controlling that blog can change your life?
I already know that answer —
It can change your life so much that, really, it doesn't even seem fair. Why is everyone else toiling in jobs they hate when all I have to do is type a few words? It's because they don't know what I know.
Here's an even better question —
Now that you know what a blog can do for you, and now that you know how easy it is to set up your blog via Badnet…
What are you waiting for?
If you're ready to start your blog, let me show you how much Badnet will do for you and how little you will give Badnet in return….

What about cost? The only thing you have to pay for is website hosting, which is what every website needs to be “live”. The total cost is as low as $3.95 per month for the basic hosting plan which is billed annually.
If you follow my exact recommendations you can expect to pay $6.94 per month, billed once at $83.28. That figure includes your website hosting and one add-on product that I highly recommend (I'll tell you more below). There are no other fees and you will not pay anything to Badnet directly.
How do you get started? To start your blog you only have to do 3 things and they couldn't be any easier. Badnet will take care of the rest…
This is how you start a blog in less than 2 minutes
(your 3 steps in quick detail)
These are literally the only 3 things you need to do to start your blog. It should take you less than 2 minutes of actual work to do them.
You do not even need to visit the Badnet.com home page, you can take advantage of the Badnet bundle right here on this page. Just follow the 3 steps listed below.
Step 1 – Pick a domain name for your blog
- Cost: free. Your domain name will be free for the first year. Time: up to you.
Step 2 – Click on this link and purchase your basic web hosting package at BlueHost
- Cost: as low as $3.95 per month (paid annually). Time: 1-2 minutes.
- Cost: zero. Time: 20-30 seconds. You only have to enter 5 pieces of information.
That’s it! Your 3 steps are done. It took you about 2 minutes of actual work and Badnet will do the rest. After you complete the request form you will receive a complete, ready-to-go blog in less than 24 hours (even on weekends)!
Too easy?
OK, let's look at the 3 steps in a bit more detail…
The 3 Steps to Start Your Badass Blog
(your 3 steps in more detail)
Step 1 – Pick a good domain name for your blog
You will get a free domain name when you sign up for the Badnet/BlueHost web host package. To renew your domain name after the first year it will cost only $15.99 per year.
What is a domain name? The domain name is the name of the website. It's what people type in the address bar to get to your website. (ex: the domain name of this website is boldanddetermined.com)
How do you pick a good domain name? The domain name should be catchy, easy to read, easy to spell and easy to remember. You need to pick an easy domain name so people will remember it and come back to your blog.
How to pick the right domain name quick tips:
- Do get a dot com (.com) domain — everybody on earth defaults to .com as the default domain option, everyone will remember it
- Don't get a dot net (.net), dot org (.org) etc. because no one will remember the address. If this website was called boldanddetermined.net 95% of the readers would continually type boldanddetermined.com and then be lost when the website doesn't show up.
- Your first and last name is a good domain name to use (ex: victorpride.com)
- Avoid using hard to read or hard to spell words in your domain name.
- Avoid using numbers in your domain name. Numbers are very confusing because it's hard to remember if you use the actual number or if you spell the number (ex: 9 or nine, 2 or two).
- Don't use dashes in your domain name. No one will ever remember where the dashes go. (ex: bold-and-determined.com would have been terribly hard to remember!)
Remember, if they cannot remember how to type your domain name they will never be able to find you. Make it easy for them to find you!
Many of the best domain names have already been purchased so it may take you a little while to come up with a great domain name that is available.
Here is how you can check to see if your domain name is available:
- Click here to here to the Badnet/BlueHost page
- Click get started now
- Select the basic plan
- Enter your domain name choice in the new domain box (pictured below)

If your domain name is unavailable you will see a screen that says ‘the domain name [you entered] is unavailable'. You will need to try again with a new domain name.
If your domain name is available you will be directed to the next and last page which is called ‘create your account'. That's how you know your domain name choice is available and you will be able to continue your web hosting purchase. Which leads us to step 2.
Step 2 – Purchase your Badnet-BlueHost web hosting package
Every website has to have a web host. A web host is how your website “lives” on the internet. Without a host your blog will never be live on the internet.
To take advantage of Badnet you must purchase your web hosting at BlueHost and you must use the official Badnet-BlueHost link. Badnet is paid directly by BlueHost, not by our clients. This is how we can keep the service free for you.
Which is the best hosting option for new blogs? You have 3 hosting plans to choose from: basic, plus and pro. The BASIC plan is the option I recommend for Badnet clients.

Why choose the basic plan? Web hosting prices depend on the amount of traffic your website gets (traffic = visitors to your website). For a new blog you will only need the most basic/cheapest hosting package because your traffic will be small at first.
Until you have a large amount of traffic a larger hosting plan is unnecessary. When your website traffic increases is when you can upgrade to a larger hosting package.
Note: You can only host one website with the basic plan. If you plan to add additional websites to your website portfolio then you would want to use the plus package.
What is the cost of website hosting on the Badnet/BlueHost plan? Your web hosting plan is billed annually and you have three options: 1 year, 2 years or 3 years of web hosting.
- Basic hosting for 12 months ($5.95 per month, $71.40 billed annually)
This is the option I personally recommend because it's the cheapest upfront option and it's only one year so it is not so overwhelming. - Basic hosting for 24 months ($4.95 per month, $118.80 billed annually)
I would not personally recommend this option because I see no great benefit. - Basic hosting for 36 months ($3.95 per month, $142.40 billed annually)
This is a great option because it's the cheapest long term option and you can “set it and forget it” for 3 years.
The image below highlights the exact hosting plan and add-ons I would personally use:

What about hosting extras and add-ons? I would personally not include any hosting extras except for this one: Domain Privacy Protection. It costs $11.88 per year and it is an expense I would absolutely pay for. The other extras are unnecessary in my opinion.
Why include domain privacy protection? Domain privacy protection protects your privacy by hiding the domain owner's personal information. When you use domain privacy protection your personal information will not be available.
If domain privacy protection is not added then anyone with an internet connection can see the domain owner's name, address, email address and phone number just by utilizing a quick WhoIs lookup.
The image below shows you exactly how Domain Privacy Protection will protect your privacy by hiding your personal information:
- On the left - Without domain privacy protection your personal information will be available online.
- On the right - With domain privacy protection your personal information will be hidden.
BlueHost password notes: The secure form linked in the next step allows you to send Badnet your BlueHost login details. This is how we install your blog and plugins for you.
After you have purchased you web hosting package you will receive an email from BlueHost asking you to create, change or update your password. We ask that you use a random password and not your common/everyday password (we don't want to know it).
- Here's a random password generator you can use to create a secure password.
Step 3 – Fill out this quick blog set-up request form and hit “enter”
After you submit this form Badnet will start right away on your blog. It's a very easy form, you only have to fill out 5 pieces of information
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your domain name
- Your BlueHost username
- Your BlueHost password
Below is a photo of the secure blog set-up request form so you can see how easy and painless it is:

Fill out this form and click submit. And then?
That’s it! You will receive a complete, ready-to-go blog within 24 hours (even on weekends)!
You fill out the form and Badnet does all all the rest. After that, your blog is ready to go and you're free to write and create. Easy peasy, Japaneasy.
Please note — Badnet does the technical work of setting up your blog, but you still have to do the creative work. That fire can only come from you and your experience and your knowledge and your heart.
Creative work cannot be done by machines and clicks and html codes. It has to come from you, friend. And that's the point.
Start your blog now and share your story. Don't worry about the technical details - your friends at Badnet will take care of that.
Your quick steps recapped:
Step 1 - Pick your domain name
Step 2 - Grab your hosting package and FREE DOMAIN here
Step 3 - Fill out this form
Done! Within 24 hours Badnet will return to you with your blog ready to go and your ebooks ready to be studied.
If you have any more questions about Badnet please read the BADNET FAQ.
If your question is not answered in the FAQ please leave a comment below and I will answer you personally… but only… if you promise to have a nice day.

I was one of those people who knew what he wanted to do, but didn’t know exactly how to make it happen. After stumbling onto B&D 2 years ago my life has improved 500%. I knew I wanted to run a business online and I knew I wanted Freedom.
Around a year and a half ago I decided to take the plunge. I created my blog based around a website I used to have. I knew absolutely nothing about WordPress or blogging. When I saw that Victor offered BADNET I was like, “What…I can have him start my blog for me?!”.
I signed up with BADNET and within 24 hours I had my blog ready to go. Since then my blog has grown into my own brand (You Inc) and things are looking very good. Oh and I have my Freedom at 22 years old.
Basically what I am telling you is to stop wasting time and just start your blog with BADNET. They have great service and will answer any questions you have. Victors BADMIN has helped me many times since I started with BADNET.
Let me know if you want to know anymore about my experience.
Regards,
Dylan Madden
Thanks Dylan.
I was planning to use squarespace since I found it have very good design presentation and it is easy to use. What would the major advantages in using wordpress instead? I used some years ago and found a little hard to customise and design. Thanks for your posts Victor!
What’s your goal for the website? WordPress is the gold standard in blogging.
Seems like a good deal. I am already paid until this time next year with wordpress and bluehost, but when it comes time to renew, could I just transfer my blog with this?
Yes, you can do that.
Any reason for the change from web hosting hub vic? Just wondering if its worth me swapping over [if whh was shitty?]
If you’re happy w/ service you don’t need to switch.
Another happy customer here. Been publishing for 6 months. Recommend it.
Looks like you’re doing Bluehost a huge favor my friend. I know it does you a favor to do them a favor, but you explained a question I asked to their support team a thousand times better. I heard their support is low quality, but your quality is always on point. Good job. Excellent tutorial!
I will reconsider going back to wordpress and if I do, it will sure be through BADNET.
I recently bought a domain name and I’d like to use it for my new blog. Can I do that? Will they add a year for no cost or am I just giving up the 1 year free domain name?
Badnet can set up your blog if you already have a domain, yes. No, you will not receive an additional free year on your already paid for domain.

VICTOR PRIDE i sold my soul 4 week ago.
I told my new boss who is a really good person that i ll work for him for a long time( at least 6 month) ( i dont need the money even tho he pay me too eell). I cant quit because he need people and it take at least 2 month to form someone. I don t have time to work for myself anymore.
But if i tell him i quit, i really look like an asshole. I gave my word man
Does a man go back on his words?
AND Amazing article man. I know that less than 10 people who made their blog trough Will make it but i ll be one of them.
@tiger bate
All people make mistakes. Do what is best for you.
Tiger Bate… I wouldn’t advise in any wise that a person should “sell their soul”. Your soul belongs to GOD. Your soul belongs to LORD JESUS CHRIST. Amen.
That said… If you really promised your boss to work for six (6) months you can keep that promise if that’s your intentions. If you don’t want to do keep working for your new boss; you could just “break-it-down” and tell him that.
Now if you’re planning on making your own blog/website and generating income from home; that’s probably what you may have to do if you are really wanting to “start right now”. It’s your call man. I’d pray over it: http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/how_to_be_saved.html
You’ll be in my prayers sir.
~ Sincerely,
Bro. Jed.

Victor,
For the 3.95 $/per month basic plan, Bluehost will take 142$ in advance for the next 36 month, or is it that I pay 3.95$ for the next 36 months?
The price is per year, so for 36 months you’d be billed 3 times.
Great and straightforward article as always!
Awesome stuff. Gonna sign up.
question.
Templates? will i be able to edit the templates in the blog? i want a design blog and i´d like to edit the templates.
where can i see examples of badnets blogs? (just want to see the esthetic not the content)
Rafael, you can edit the templates. After we install WP and gives your blog back, you can do anything you like.
About two years and a few months ago, I started a website. Since then I have written over 700 posts for it and three books for sale. I am not making a ton of money, but I am making more than what I would make working at any other job (I don’t have a college degree or anything). I also still work part-time for a restaurant. I’ve had that job for 9 years but cannot quit because I want to save every cent I can.
Anyway, I actually found bold and determined about 6 months ago when I was writing one of the books. It helped me push through.
Since then I have been following it. I don’t agree with you on a lot of subjects (politics and other things), but we share many similarities. I found some parts of me in your articles and videos.
Recently, however, I’ve been experiencing a solid burnout. I am not tired physically, I just can’t repeat the cycle. My mind is exhausted. Sometimes I lay on the floor and look at one spot for 40 minutes. It’s crazy. I know. I lost it after finishing the third book.
I guess it will go away sooner or later.
Good luck to everyone. If some of you have any advice, I will be happy to hear it.
Hello Mikey, looks like you’ve been doing good for yourself. May God Almighty, Lord Jesus Christ continue to BLESS and WATCH OVER you. Amen.
… Well, I want to help you and I’m not exactly sure what kind of advice I should give you given I don’t know what you like to write and blog about but if I was you I would PRAY out to GOD and ask HIM for guidance in your works.
Say, what kind of material do you like to write about? Are you into self-development, business, entrepreneurship and the likes?
If so I’d just keep a little notebook and a pen to jot down any and all random ideas you might come up with in your imagination to use for later. Whatever it is just RECORD it down in written ink to type for later. It’ll come in handy.
That’s what I do as a Christian when I’m writing blog posts and articles when I’m reading the Bible (God’s Word in the King James Version Holy Bible [KJV]) and it works quite well.
Hope that helps and take care sir.
~ Sincerely,
Bro. Jed
Hi Mike same thing here. I discovered that staying out the thing you are doing for 2 or 3 days gives you a ton of drive and motivation to go at it again. Maybe you just need to sleep for 18 hrs in a day. You need to hit the bar and get drunk or play some sport for one day. When you do this things you are ready to go back at it and kick more ass. At least that works for me every time. Cheers
Thank you for the responses. I actually did take a few days off, although I wrote another post for the site. Most of the other time I spent playing video games. May seem stupid but when I play video games I usually play some philosophy videos from YouTube in the background.
Tomorrow, I will restart the cycle.
What really keeps me going is that I don’t want to return to the years when I had to work all kinds of jobs and take it from everyone.
Uncle Vic,
Is there a package where, say I want to do one blog, but i want an additional two more domain names that I can park so no troll asshole goes out and buys my name, is that possible?
Sean, you can just buy those 2 domains separately at any domain registration website. Godaddy is most popular (personally I don’t like them). I always use internetbs.net to buy domains.
One day I just decided to take a chance and get a blog set up with BADNET. It’s one of the best decisions I ever made; I have a space online that is 100% mine to do with as I please.
Thank you, Victor Pride.
Vic, you’ve inspired me to start my blogging journey. I’m just taking my first steps but I’m excited. Very fun so far. Thank you for everything you do, keep it up man! I will begin blogging my experience through 30 days of discipline. Thank you!
I will use this opportunity to thank Victor Pride for his motivating, kick ass articles and for the excellent service Badnet provided when I set up a blog recently. Sincerely, thank you. You have helped me more than you will ever know. Lex
Hi Victor,
I think I might have fucked up.
I’m pretty sure I clicked the link in this article to sign up through Bluehost.
After humming and harring about it, I eventually signed up a few days later.
This afternoon I received my email from Bluehost, but it doesn’t look like wordpress has been installed.
I also haven’t heard from Badnet so I dont have any of the ebook’s neither.
Is there something I can do to sort this mate?
Did you fill out the forms linked in this article requesting a wordpress installation?
The one that asks for your first and last name, contact email, domain name, bluehost user name and bluehost password?
I did fill that out.
I clicked the link, chose my domain, chose the basic package and filled out the form with the above information.
That’s the one. Badmin will be contacted you shortly.
All sorted Victor.
Thanks for sorting that for me.
Victor,
Just wanted to finally comment after reading you for a few months. Because of you I started my own blog recently. I figure I can use it like you as a platform for expressing my views of the world.
Keep killing it man. Please don’t stop writing and continue to motivate and inspire!
Respect,
Jon
Viktor, you are the man! I recently started a blog called [Spartan Ownership] after coming across your articles on being a pro blogger. It’s sort of similar to yours in a way but rest assured, I knew I wanted to help men in the self-help industry long before I came across your content. I just want to say thanks and that I’ve written many articles since. Many on masculinity, spirituality, etc. Hope we can meet one day.
Thanks Maximillian
Hey Vic,
if I go to bluehost.com it’s the basic “shared hosting” plan, isn’t it? https://www.bluehost.com/shared
Bluehost also got a “optimized Hosting for wordpress” plan, why aren’t you recommending/using this one instead? https://www.bluehost.com/managed-wordpress-hosting
Just curious whats your take on this wordpress plan is.
Thanks
Chris
It’s 4X more expensive when hosting is hosting, I see no need.
Hey Victor, just made you 65 bucks. I hope some hard work can make it pay off in the long run.
Thanks for helping us
Hey Victor,
I was wondering what specifically are the seven plugins that badnet offers?
Thanks for the value you put out, you’re helping myself and a lot of people.
Can’t wait to get my vision out through badnet.
Best,
Matt Dillon
Hello Matt, when we install the blog and hand it over to you, you will be able to see exactly what the plugins are.
Can I open blog from outside US. Lets say Eastern Europe?
Yes you can.
What’s up Victor. Dona here. I have been a fan of yours since 2011 and now I have decided to start my own online clothing store. But just like you, I’m not a technician type of dude. So I wanted to know if i can follow the Badnet process for my online store.
Dona, we have not added e-commerce to the Badnet materials for the sole reason that store owner requirements can vary so greatly that it’s difficult to write something up other than “Install WooCommerce!” That being said, I’ve assisted quite a few Badnet clients in adding an online store to their sites. It’s quite simple and WooCommerce is designed with the non-techie in mind. If you sign up you can let me know and I can install it during the setup process and give you a few pointers. And as always, I’m available via email should questions arise while getting started.
Found you through a link from masculinedevelopment.com and since then it’s been a solid week of devouring your posts. Freedom is the #1 aim in life, and you’ve given me just the push I’ve needed through your simplicity and directness. I’ve already purchased 30 DoD and just started my website through your service (since you talk about it so dang much!)
So thanks, Victor!
-Ken
My man.
