One common theme you may have noticed at Bold and Determined:
Make money on your own terms, your own way - don't rely on anyone else, don't rely on any external factors.
There's no better way I know of for anyone to start making money on their own than by creating a brand around yourself…
YOU, INC.
You, Inc.: Running a business based on your personality
There are obviously a lot of ways to make money, but the one that is the most prevalent (and hidden) today is by making money online operating a You, Inc.
Why hidden? Because people are making money right in front of your face and you have no idea.
Every time you watch someone on YouTube they are making money.
Some of them are making tons of money. And they're doing it on their own terms.
That's because, for smart and driven people, YouTube is a business not a hobby.
- YouTube content viewers think it's all fun and games.
- YouTube content creators think of their videos as a business.
That's why the stupid viewers aren't making money, and that's why the intelligent video creators are.
And that's why many of you don't even know you're watching a business. Some of you think you're watching some sucker making videos…
Without realizing you're the sucker, paying for the people you watch to make videos (and not even knowing it).
Every time you watch a video on YouTube the creator of the video gets paid.
I've seen many people make fun of YouTube video creators for being poor…
Without realizing that every time you watch their videos you're giving the YouTube content creators money (and so are several thousand other people).
Talk about ironic, proclaiming someone isn't making money - while giving them money.
What's that internet saying? I believe it's… LOL.
Right in front of your face and you still don't know. If money was a snake it would bite you in your face before you ever saw it.
Then after it bit you you'd have no idea what happened. (What was that lol)
So here's what we're going to do… Professor Victor is going to educate you.
I'm going to give you 16 tips on how to stop being a stupid content consumer..
And start being a smart content creator.
(Content is anything that entertains people: blogs, words, books, art, podcasts, videos, television, movies, music, social media accounts etc.)
Rules in Professor Victor's classroom:
- turn off your phone
- close all the screens on your laptop
- glue your eyeballs to these words
- pay attention as though your livelihood depended on it
- do not ask me any questions before you read every word a dozen times

Class is in session…
16 Ways to Make Money By Being Yourself
#1 - Prepare to invest in yourself (time & money)
This is #1 for a reason. You must be fully prepared to give your all and I do mean all. This business model is all or nothing and there is no in-between.
Prepare to invest money in You, Inc. and even more than money you need to be prepared to invest the most important asset you have - your time. Monetary cost to invest: about $4 per month to start.
⚡️You need web hosting for your website and that's all you need to start. Use BADNET right now to start your site.⚡️
Cost of time to invest: all of it. It takes all of your time. Even if you're physically doing another job your mind should always be on You, Inc.
Thinking is working. You, Inc should always be on your mind. That's your #1 priority, all You, Inc., all the time, always and forever.
#2 - Get rid of everything that isn't helping you succeed (give all to get all)
Have nothing so all you have is business.
“The less I have, the more I gain” -James Hetfield
Yes, I fully recommend having nothing else. When you have nothing you can do one of two things:
- you can sit and cry at night wishing you'd die or
- you can work for something.
My business is me and I am my business and there is no separation and that's the way you run You, Inc. I'm set for eternity because I lived the “nothing but B&D;” mentality.
“All I want to do, ever, is play chess… Chess and me, it's hard to take them apart. It's like my alter ego” -Bobby Fischer
If I don't have B&D; then I don't have anything at all. And that was by design. You, Inc. is YOU, goddammit, you have to live it 24/7.
Get rid of everything else because it's going to help you gain everything. Get rid of anything that is holding get you down. You need to throw it all out (stuff and people).
I lived like a monk for five years and now I'm set for eternity because I did. For years I didn't have anything. I didn't have a smart-phone for many years. I didn't buy expensive clothes for many years. Today I ride an expensive bicycle in $400 jeans because back then I would have my old jeans sewn up so I didn't have to buy new ones.
I let myself live well now, but it took years of living spartan to get from A to B. Now? Living well is fantastic. Put in the time so you can do it.
The longer you put it off, the more times you quit, it's just that much longer until you can live well. Live well from your job? Don't make me laugh.
People with jobs never have free time ever and when they do they “catch up on Netflix” or do laundry. Those people are the walking dead (they just happen to be fatter than zombies).
Give all to get all.
When you've got nothing, all you've got is that hunger.
“To reach the pinnacle, everything else must not exist” -Conor McGregor
From this point on, everything in your life is all business. You are a content creator.
Always be on because everything is content.
Start paying attention to everything and everyone. Watch people, learn from them and turn their examples into content.
“But Victor lol I don't want to sacrifice my night life lol” None of this is sacrifice. It's just the price you pay to bleed success.
Sacrifice means you get nothing in return. It's not a goddamn sacrifice if you get rewarded! You guys that work a job are sacrificing.
You waste your life, you spend most of your waking hours under fluorescent lights, and you make a little ass pimple of a paycheck.
Ask a normal Joe working a normal job if he wants to go to the beach on a normal Tuesday morning… “No, I can't. I have to work, then I have to catch up on netflix. Maybe in 30 years when I retire.”
Ask me if I want to go to the beach on a normal Tuesday morning and I'll probably say.. “I was already there this morning working out”.
#3 - Choose a name for your You, Inc. business
A good name is very important. Your personal name is a good name for your business but not necessarily the best name for a brand.
If you have a cool, unique name then you can use your name as the name and face of the business. If you don't have a cool name then you'll need to create one. Victor Pride is a cool name. Bob Johnson isn't a cool name.
⚡️You should always own your own name, even if you don't use it (because someone else will)⚡️
Bold & Determined is a cool name, it is relatable, easy to remember and can be shortened into BAD which is rad. DeterminedlyBold is a terrible name (Yes, a real copycat name I have seen).
A good option would be to have a name that other people can identify with (and remember). You have to own your business name as a domain (yourname.com).
Forget .net and .org and .me - you need the .com!
Domains are bought and sold like real estate and web hosting is your “rent”. The greatest domain names are already taken.
Great names will cost you, but your unique name might be available. 30DaysOfDiscipline.com cost me $500. BADNET.com cost me $10,000. BoldAndDetermined.com only cost me $10.
You need a website and you need a domain name, it isn't optional. When picking your domain name, remember: no dashes and no numbers (impossible to remember: this-is-a-terrible-domain.com).
Make your name easy to read, easy to say and easy to remember.
⚡️Get a free domain name with BADNET when you buy hosting⚡️
You need a website with a dot-com domain name and it is not optional. If you can't afford $4 a month for web hosting (rent) then You, Inc. isn't for you. Instead you could try holding a sign on the side of the highway that says “Homeless and Hungry, Please Help“.
Winners have $4 to invest in You, Inc.
After you pick your business name you need to secure all of social media account names (even though you will not use social media until you have followers - more on that later).
#4 - Choose a media platform to deliver your art (blog, podcast or video)
Choose a media platform - blog, podcast, or video. All of those platforms require a website!
All of those platforms make money so choose where you excel. I'm the best writer who ever lived so I write, because that's the best way to get my message out.
If you excel at speaking you should start a podcast. If you excel at speaking and you look good (handsome, or otherwise unique looking) you should do videos.
Do the work! I make it sound easy, and it is, but you still have to do the work. I don't even like writing (or talking) but I have something to say so I do the work required to:
A) get my ideas into the world and
B) succeed.
All I do is put the ideas in my head into your head, whatever way I can.

#5 - Be broad, not niche
Since YOU are a complete person your You, Inc. will be complete. Niche websites are shit for making money.
Pat Flynn has you fooled. You guys run around making niche websites because Pat says so, but he makes money from his broad website, not from his niche websites.
You will have a main theme, but you will not be limited by only your one theme.
B&D;'s theme is freedom and we work around that central theme. Your topics will simply revolve around your theme but will not be limited to one niche.
People want whole - they don't want partial! To be whole you need to have a theme not a niche.
Three topics that make money forever: health, wealth and relationships. These are your evergreen topics but you can and should branch out into anything that interests you.
Why not niche? I have hundreds of niche websites. They're called articles and Google doesn't give a shit if it's a niche website or if it's a niche article! Good content will rank well with google!
Don't make the mistake of starting a niche website when you can start a broad website and release hundreds or even thousands of niche pieces of content - and have it all revolving around one common theme: you.
#6 - Pick a central theme that you will revolve your content around
Your theme is already in your head. It's YOU. It should be very, very easy to create content right from the start. Your content should pour out of you.
If it's hard for you to create content then this plan is not for you.
If you have nothing to say then don't start a business trying to say something. But if you have something to say, start your You, Inc. and revolve any “side businesses” around it.
Your You, Inc. website/domain is your planet. Everything else is a moon revolving around your planet. Connect everything to your home base!

#7 - Create content for yourself first, people second, robots third
What kind of content would you like to see online? That's the content you create.
You create for yourself first, you create content for your audience second, and in a distant third you create content for robots (SEO: Search Engine Optimization).
Your content strategy is HEO, not SEO. H.E.O. - Human Eye Optimization.
Write for people! Talk to people! Don't be a nerd and write for machines because you will never develop a connection with an audience (and therefore you will never have an audience).
⚡️Start your You, Inc. website at BADNET right now⚡️
#8 - Create valuable content
You have to create valuable content. Seems obvious that you have to create content to reap the rewards of being a content creator, right?
I've had a bunch of morons ask me how to get an audience - when they haven't created any content! They say “I haven't created anything at all, nothing, and I want to know how did you build an audience? That's my stumbling block“.
No, you're stumbling block is backwards: create valuable content and the audience will find you. Create nothing and obviously no one will find you.

No one has an audience before they create content you dummy!
Create great content and your audience will find you, it's destiny. The people who need you will type something good into Google that will lead to you.
They'll be sitting and crying at night, wishing they'd die, thinking they have no answer…
Until they find you and their lives change.
If you aren't creating content that changes lives then you don't deserve to be paid and you won't be paid. B&D; gets emails every single day thanking me for changing their lives.
⚡️These messages are posted to Instagram using the #BadGuyFanMail hashtag⚡️
If you don't have an audience after 6 months it's because your content isn't good enough.
(It's very likely that you spend too much time on social media and not enough time creating content that changes lives.)
Should you seek an audience? Yeah right. Create gold and the audience will find you.
Bold and Determined is gold and that's why people come here, not because I begged them to come here and read. If they need it, they'll find it because it's destiny.
Create better content, create the best content and the audience will come directly to you.
You have to be the best at what you do. If you aren't the best at You, Inc. (which has no competition) then you need to try something else.
If you aren't the best at what you then how do you think you're going to make money? By osmosis through me? Don't make me laugh!
Be the best to be treated like the best! How do you be the best?
#9 - Be extraordinary (make yourself great!)
I wasn't born a magnet for success, I just turned myself into one.
Like Donald Trump once said, (I think)…
“Make yourself great again!“
You need to be prepared to make yourself better. In fact you have to make yourself great (in some way) to make money from You, Inc. Some of you think the content creators on YouTube are losers, which is terribly funny.
The best YouTube content creators make enough money to drive around in Lamborghinis and most of their “haters” are stuck in traffic at 5pm headed home from another day at the office, ready to order a pizza and “catch up on netflix”.
What's that saying again? LOL.
You have to be great before you can show other people how to be great. You can't be a normal Jerkoff Joe and make money from You, Inc.
A normal guy doesn't want to pay a normal guy when a normal guy can just look in the mirror. People want to watch experts and authorities. Be extraordinary, leave ordinary to your fans.
You can't be a total loser and then expect to be a winner just by posting videos or articles online.
It takes work to make a loser into a winner. You have to spend time doing that work before you can show anyone else how to do it.
Now that you have made yourself great, you need to create better content. How do you create better content?
Bleed.
Bleed on the page or the screen. Bleed for everyone.
Like Ric Flair once said: “Red is green, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
Kill yourself to create great content. Get that blood money and don't ask me any more questions.
⚡️Read Spartan Entrepreneur: Blog Artist to learn how to bleed content⚡️
#10 - Publish a lot your first year (Your first year publishing plan)
When you start creating content you want to create it and release it fast. This is your first year publishing strategy: write - publish - repeat.
After you have a real audience your publishing plan is: write - edit - refine - publish - promote - repeat.
Promote? Yes, promote (after you have an audience to promote to). After you bleed you want your fans to find it and enjoy it, so you promote it to them via email and social media.
(Note: Email marketing is much more powerful than social media marketing. Much more!)
“But Victor! lol you said social media is a waste of time? I'm confused lol” Figure it out.
You can't promote anything until you have an audience. The only way you get an audience is by creating great content.
I get these morons saying they'll promote me on their website if I do an interview with them. When I look at their site it's brand new and they have no followers and barely any content!
Get this into your head: You're nothing at all for the first year and nobody, especially not me, is going to give you an audience. You will earn an audience from your blood, sweat and tears. Unless you happen to be very special you are nothing for the first year!
#11 - Forget about social media until you have 500+ followers
I see total beginners on twitter all the time, “promoting” themselves. More like wasting time instead of working.
People who have no content, less than a month of content, or are otherwise lacking are playing around on social media all day, pretending to “promote” themselves.
Social media is a hustlers business not a goddamn hobby!
Only total losers are on social media promoting themselves instead of creating content… But I see it all the time!
I see only two types of people on social media:
- Total winners (content creators)
- Total losers (content consumers)
Winner are the ones who are on social media for business (with the profits to prove it). Total losers are on social media not making any money and wasting their time.
“But Victor, I thought social media was a powerful tool lol” Social media is a powerful tool…
FOR PEOPLE WHO ALREADY HAVE AN AUDIENCE!
Social media is only powerful if people care about you. If no one gives a shit about you then social media is a total waste of time.
Do not waste your time on social media until you have 500 organic followers.
Don't ask for followers, don't do anything for followers. Just open your social media accounts, and when 500 people have followed you organically then you have a real audience. And only then can you use twitter as a producer instead of a consumer.
How to run run Twitter like a business (and it isn't a business until you have followers):
- Never tweet fire ? Save the fire for your main media!
- Only tweet leftovers and scraps, save the gold for your content
- Concentrate on the work. Twitter is not work until you have a lot of followers!
- Every time you get out your phone to tweet put the tweet in your notes instead (then use the notes to create better content)
- Don't tweet until you have an audience (tweeters with 100 followers are total losers!)
Only consumer and producers are on social media. If you aren't a producer (with at least 500 followers) then you're one of the consumers (which is fine unless your goal is to be a producer).
#12 - Don't expect to make money for a year
Yes, prepare to spend one year not making any money. But…
This plan is faster than any other legal plan.
Don't you have eyeballs to see that? “But Victor, a whole year?! That's so long lol, I'd rather spend 4 years in college not making any money lol”
Put in the time now so you can make withdrawals later.
If you put money into a savings account do you expect to make money overnight? No. Same with digital business, it takes times for your investment to start producing.
You are investing in You, Inc so treat it like an investment. You, Inc. is not a money tree until you put in the work to make it a money tree.
If you want money tomorrow then get a job like the rest of the normal people. You won't make money for a while so deal with it.
Don't ask me when you'll get paid because that's a losers question.
You'll get paid when you're worth it! If you don't provide value then you won't get paid. When people find you valuable is when they'll prove it by giving you money. Until then, shut the fuck up and work!
⚡️BADNET will set up your website for you⚡️
#13 - Time is key (time + content = money)
Time and content is how you make money.
Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time Time.
Get it now? IT TAKES TIME! It don't happen overnight, it takes time.
You'll all spend 4 years in college because you believe you'll make money after 4 years at a job…
(Like the fat slobs I see at Starbucks ordering all the fat and sugar on the menu and wearing Ross Dress for Less business casual attire).
You'd rather live like a fat slave to a corporation instead of spending a year to make money and be free? Fine! Just don't ask me how you can make money later this afternoon when you don't even create content.
Question from a total loser: “When do you think I'll make money?” Honest answer: Never.
#14 - Don't ask questions, shut the fuck up and learn instead
Broad, general questions are for idiots. Questions like “what's the best way to make money online” is an idiot's questions.
These questions give you a reason to not work (which is why you ask them)!
“No one answered my asinine question so I just won't do any work until it's answered lol” - Total loser
Technical questions are OK. “How do I make this shot in slow motion?” is a real question.
“What's the best way to make money online” is a total loser's question. “How to get an audience” is a total loser's questions.
Do the damn work and everything else will follow. Don't do the work, ask moron questions and you'll get exactly what you have now: nothing.
Questions are for people who don't have any belief within, they don't have rock solid belief. If you believe in your content then the audience will as well.
If you don't believe in your content then you will waste my time with your stupid questions. If you don't have that belief then you won't make money from You, Inc. Period!
You think a motherfucker with a bulletproof mindset would ever ask a stranger “when will I make money?” Don't make me laugh.
I never asked anyone that asinine question, instead I was in China in a $100 per month apartment making nothing but knowing I would eventually make something.
The money will come in time and the bulletproof content creator knows it.
I don't give a fuck about building an audience. I never gave a fuck about making money. All I cared about was creating my content and getting my philosophy to the people who wanted and needed it.
I changed lives and provided value, and you know what happened? The audience and the money came to me like I was a magnet for success.
#15 - Stop saying “let's“, you're in this game alone
I hear people say all the time, “let's this, let's that“. No pal, I'm in this game alone. If I need something done I'll make it happen. Saying “let's” is another way of procrastinating.
You say “let's do this” and no one does it - so you just do nothing.
If you need something done you'll try and get a bunch of people to do it by saying “let's do it!” - which is the total opposite of leading by example. More like “leading by permission”.
That's why I've succeeded and it's why you're struggling. I don't need permission to act. I have friendly friends in this game (Cernovich and Chris Loser) but we do it and did it all alone! We each created something from nothing and never begged for help.
Even today I never ask anyone for help and my pals never ask me for help. I give help out of the kindness of my heart, it's never asked for, it's always appreciated and vice versa.
It's YOU, INC. it isn't WE, INC.
“Let's” not do anything, you're in this game alone and you need to make it happen alone. Your audience isn't going to do anything with you that involves creation or production. They are there to consume your content, not to help you create it.
Saying “let's” is a total turnoff to your audience because it's like begging your audience for approval. You don't need permission to act.
#16 - Never be satisfied
“To the game you stay a slave” -James Hetfield
Whatever good happens, something better can happen. It's never enough, there's no end.
I ride a bicycle in $400 jeans and you know what? I could and should be way richer. The guy at the jeans store was flabbergasted that I ride a bike in expensive jeans.
He said: “You ride a bike in $400 jeans?!” I replied, as if it were obvious, “uhh, yeah”. I didn't understand his bum mentality at all (but I used to understand it very well).
As good as it is right now, it's going to get better if you keep working.
Good times comin'…If you're willing to do the work.
Business, business, business, and more business. Personal time? What's that saying again? LOL!
You, Inc. You'll never get out alive ?

Great post.
What plugin is that at the end of the post that says “You may also like” and has a few posts.
Great question for google.
He didn’t read the article. He was just making it sure to be the first guy to comment.
Lame question. I doubt if Google can help him ! I can’t stop laughing. Hahaha
https://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=related
Great article, I had my alarm set for this one since I had a good feeling about it and it paid off, going to go over this one a few times before the year is out haha.
When Victor came out with the “one video a day” idea a while back I decided to fuck it and give it a try.
Since then I busted out like 80 some videos in two months doing 1 to sometimes 4 videos a day, and saw my subscriber count grow from 0 to 73 it’s at right now and I get more daily, as in growth is faster now than day 1.
Anyway for anyone considering following Victor’s advice, I highly recommend it.
Couple of things I learned along the way…
-I didn’t know what I wanted to say or make videos about(still don’t know for sure) and I didn’t know if I’d have enough ideas, but by forcing myself to make a video a day, sometimes that pressure would cause ideas to just appear out of nowhere and it’s also changed me brain to where now I always see content ideas where I wouldn’t before. My brain is like a content machine now.
-Also with youtube, YOU NEVER know which videos will be a hit. I could never have guessed that some random shit I’d put out would get 1000s of views while my “gold” videos get like 50-60 :(. Which again tells you that you should do 1 a day and “let the market decide” as Cernovich says, don’t always disqualify content just because YOU think it may not be great.
-Also it’s better to let quality slowly build up instead of panicking that your first video isn’t as high quality as JJ Abrams. Like for me, I learn new tricks almost daily, compressing my audio, color grading, color correcting, skin smoothing, lighting, manual vs auto focus, aperture, etc.
But yea like Victor says PATIENCE is key.
It’s easy to feel like a shit head when you release a video and get like 5 views a week, but it gets better if you don’t give up.
I think for me, something that helps is that I don’t look at this as a money making venture, I have another main business I work on and just look at this as something I enjoy and a long term investment which relieves a lot of pressure and allows me to put content out without stressing about views and subs. Or like worry about if I’m a hypocrite or staying in brand.
I think having fun is important and keeps me motivated to do it.
Anyway thanks for the article Vic, and mainly thanks for that “if i started today” video, that was gold!
Great comment!
Wow! That may be the greatest kick in the face I have ever received. You read the advice. You, without hesitation, dove in head first. You are now swimming in reward and only because you TRIED! My hat is off to you “lil steffy”! You’re a badass!
Thank You Chris!
I appreciate the kind words!
And yea it’s funny how just getting in the mix works out that way vs sitting back and theory crafting.
I spent a long time being afraid to start because I didn’t want to be a shitty beginner at something I thought I should be good at…if that makes sense haha.
Took me awhile to learn this lesson and I honestly have wanted to start a YouTube since 2006 so I guess you could say Victor’s nudge is what finally got me to just throw my fear aside and like you said “try!”.
Your welcome. It’s consistency and growth based decisions that get it done. I understand that today. However I am as guilty as the next guy in line at not following that advice consistently.
This article shouldn’t have any comments. (except this one)
Because everyone should share it on FB or Twitter then immediately get to work building You inc.
?
?? Great article bud.
Vic-
This is a great followup to ur “how to make money being yourself” article.
Its like part 2 of the business plan. I expect my sales to jump this week from things i got from ur article.
I actually never read your whole articles, i skim through like sifting for gold and find little bits that are hidden.
Like your “how to make money being yourself” article, the hidden gem (for me) was:
“I am writing this and you are reading this so i am making money and you are not”-victor pride
I dont remember anything else except that line, and right after i waas like “shit dude there itt is” and bought my name at BADNET right away
Then i bothered u 1 on 1 for more “help” and i realized after a while that you were right, just takes time, so i *finally* (haha) shut my mouth and just did the work
Following ur exact business plan ive managed to build a following and pull in hundreds$$$ already in just a couple months from my video blog.
I also have a great message so thats why ive grown so fast, cause ppl keep asking me how im growing so fast, but the other part of it and my “secret to making money online” is finding the hidden gold in ur articles and using them.
which is essentially just getting motivation from ur articles and then creating more content = time
I found the hidden gem in this article, i know im gonna make another couple hundred $ this week online just from that alone (producing more content)
Btw bro i told my friend about ur bible for women making money online, and my friend decided to leave school for a year and focus on doing youtube videos and she literally just made it through 2 rounds of the TV show “The Voice” andd if she gets a callback next week shes gonna be flown to LA to be on the actual TV show.
So uhh thx for making me money online and thx for ur message which is having an impact on my friend and her singing career lol
(Btw if she does make it through ill text u her name so u can look for her if u want and can be like “thats my gold girl!” haha)
- Mike
PS- ive managed a night lounge, owned a personal training biz, fucked 100+ girls and had to beat my anxiety doing it, was an EMT, poured concrete in Philly in the winter, was a stripper for a year, among many other things, and ill tell you from experience that making money online has been the easiest and funnest of all of them
@ everyone else = buy ur name at badnet, seriously im not even a good writer (which is why i do videos), im a douchebag party boy and im making money online. literally if i can then you can bro
I digress
peace ??
The word is a funky place, if a drunk partyboy like you can make money online i am asking myself WHY IN THE HELL are People not waking up.
Hell yeah bro
“I actually never read your whole articles, i skim through like sifting for gold and find little bits that are hidden.”
Why?
Cause i want to
My man. It’s an endurance game. Who can endure ends up winning.
Like you told me 5 years ago in ur email bro:
“Just endure”
Imagine how business is going to be after 5 years of total endurance.
Its gonna be big pimpin bro, we’ll celebrate when I reach my first $100k
VICTOR pride, dude thank you, my blog is a french blog, On this site of the internet nobody is doing what I am doing, and I realised something. the ONLY way TO succeed is TO be yourserlf and write what’s going on between your ears. If you try TO fake IT nobody will follow you. Maybe IT s the law of attraction or some crazy shit. Money is a byproduct dont focus on IT, if you do you ain t gonna get IT. give value TO People and they ll bring you money after.
BECOME OBSESSED WITH working
(I am writing this comment without reading the article)
Ps: (you ll probably ignore this)I have a Lil bit of money and Thinking of taking a trip TO thailand. do I Book a ticket and find out the hard way what To do once I get there
Ps: excuse my english
You’re welcome. Book a ticker and figure the rest out, it isn’t hard.
One of the best days are when I wake up and see that you wrote a new article. Starting off your day with BAD words guarantees a better day than yesterday. It’s a good azz day.. Always GOLD Victor Pride!!
My man.
Excellent article, I appreciate it. Can’t believe all this information is free.
Yes, it should be charged for. You’re right.
One point I’ll share about domains.
Sometimes a subdomain is a better option, such as shop.boldanddetermined.com.
Why? 1) It’s free 2) Traffic and links strengthen the main domain
Unless you are creating an entirely new brand or satellite brand and want to buy the domain to own it, it’s not worth the investment because it’s like starting a whole new site from scratch. If that’s the plan, that’s fine.
Age and authority matter. Riding the age of a strong domain with a subdomain can work extremely well depending on the situation (a forum, for example).
Great advice … there is also the “flow” of authority …
If you have authority with your name, use it to garner authority with a “site” as in …
YOURNAME.com ==> YOURCOMPANY.com
—or—
YOURCOMPANY.com ===> YOURNAME.com
Either way works.
But agreed … functional aspects of website - shop, forum, membership area - call all be done via a sub domain much easier. And if you are just starting out or branding out … sub domains can be a great way to “test the waters”.
If anyone is still wondering if any of this is real, that money can be made, that being “you” or building up a company isn’t possible … go read this article by Noah Kagan founder of AppSumo.com — yes, he has put in the work to “know” the internet, and he has had success with other ventures - but he decided to take a 24Hour Challenge to make $1000 from nothing but an idea. Here’s the article http://www.appsumo.com/sumo-jerky/ … great story.
Also, here’s another guy that has put in the work, now he sells his “expertise” online - and he gave himself a 24 hour challenge - build a website from scratch - and have it live in a day. His name is Mackenzie Child - here’s the video where he describes the process. https://youtu.be/DexyfHomC4Q
It’s possible and it’s available - put in the work and make it happen. I’m working on the whole “it’s YOU, Inc not WE, Inc.” thing - everyone has something to get over - that’s mine.
“If anyone is still wondering if any of this is real, that money can be made, that being “you” or building up a company isn’t possible … ”
Anyone who is wondering this is a moron who would never and could never succeed online (or anywhere else). There are examples of successes of You, Inc literally everywhere and one would have to be an absolute moron to “disbelieve” reality.
Great article. Couldn’t agree more with everything. I own a “You, inc”. AND I even have The Guide to Wealth and Health. Seriously!
Glad you wrote this article so I didn’t have to. :-)
Always an inspiration.

“Glad you wrote this article so I didn’t have to. :-)”
Yeah right.
Drew I usually don’t put negative comments, but are you serious?
“Glad you wrote this article so I didn’t have to. :-)”
Based off of your site I highly doubt you could even create an article 5% of what was found in this article. I see what you really meant (I hope so at least). Just keep working and evolving.
Let’s see…
Stop fucking around.
Start doing the work.
Don’t whine like a baby.
If someone doesn’t get it from here, they DESERVE their life.
Yep. Very easy.
The more you succeed and climb up, the harder it is for you to relate to the average masses. In fact, it becomes unbearable and average questions just become deaf to your ears. Once people find out you are rich, they are going to secretly envy you and try to drag you down and try to get stuff from you anyways. Better to just give fake smile, pretend and agree move on and not let any of the averages waste your time. Most people can’t handle the truth anyways. At that point when you value yourself too highly because your time is valuable, you get mixture of admiration and hatred.
Being rich without looking too rich. Creating perception.
They say “don’t burn your bridges” but I had to get rid of nearly everyone in my contact list because they weren’t going anywhere with their lives but staying in comfort and asking time wasting questions.
Just like you don’t ask 1000 questions on how to swim, you learn faster by jumping in and learning from there. Most of the skills people can learn faster simply by jumping in and doing instead of asking bunch of questions and staying in analysis and paralysis mode.
Not easy to find someone who can master delayed gratification. When you realize that most people are impulsive and want it NOW NOW NOW, it becomes much easier to sale to them. There is no better time to be rich than now. With internet and assuming you live in America, you have ALL the resources you need to be rich.
Going to the beach to relax with drink. That is rewarding BUT only done sparingly. Doing that everyday would drive you to insanity and when you realize that quickly bores you, then working becomes so much fun. (working for yourself that is NOT working for other people). You can work WITH other people; just don’t work FOR other people. Difference there. Work (working for yourself) becomes fun and money becomes addicting, normal people will think you are nuts. You are doing the right thing; at that point nothing is unstoppable.
Sometimes I drive on the road and I see the homeless with “hungry, need spare change”. No one wants to be in that situation; no one. Money becomes that much important.
Person A: You know money doesn’t buy you happiness; money isn’t everything.
You would reply: Yes you are right; okay anyways have a nice day
I would used to reply: “Money is important you idiot” and try to spend additional time to argue with the person A and trying to convince them why they are wrong.
Guess who was the bigger idiot at that time? ME.
Now the reply should be: “yes you are correct” have a nice day; bye!”.
Agreed. Sure sucks to have to deal with all that “social pushback crap” but such is life, eh?
Good comment, TS. Like always.
Holly cow! You paid $10,000 for BADNET domain.
It’s a slow climb at first, but even my weak ass content picks up viewers. I’ve uploaded 215 daily videos without missing a day, got 26,815 views and made a handful of affiliate sales too. I started off with 0 just like everyone else, and I’m only just getting started.
This stuff works!
Excellent work!
As always Victor true words for the masses!
It bothers me that you get emails asking you dumb questions like that when in reality all you will need is to work towards that goal and to put in time! Like everything else in the world you start at the bottom and work your way up slowly. There is no such thing as an overnight success and if it was then they are lying to you.
I like to create and putting ideas that may pop in my head out there for the whole world to see. Some may agree with it and some may not but at least I’m trying and getting to that goal.
I think what you are doing here Victor is great! Keep teaching and sharing your views about things.
Thanks Jose.
This is fucking gold and should be mandatory reading for anyone whining about how hard it is to make money online.
Vic is the man
Yes, all correct.
“I lived like a monk for five years and now I’m set for eternity because I did.”

“Don’t ask me when you’ll get paid because that’s a losers question.
You’ll get paid when you’re worth it!”
Hello Mr. Victor I like your work and business. Thank you for sharing your earnest advice.
I only suggest that God’s Name is not used as a “curse word” as in “g-dd-mmit” because it OFFENDS HIM and as a Christian I can’t “overlook” that in good conscience.
Other than stuff like that I’m not one to “nit-pick” about any person’s way of doing things like even “cursing” BUT the only thing “crossing the line” is when GOD’S NAME IS USED IN VAIN in vulgar fashion.
Besides that I would have shared your article out by the Holy Ghost convicted me NOT TO for the REASON it trespasses against GOD’S NAME not my name; GOD. All about Him.
Thank you regardless though and may the Lord Jesus Christ guide you into His Truth in His Word and out of this world’s way of thinking and doing things (*introduction): http://jesus-is-savior.com/how_to_be_saved.html
Christ almighty you’re a goddamn sook!!
Toughen up choir boy!!
Sup. JESUS CHRIST LOVES YOU! Amen!
Inspirational. Thanks very much.
Biggest things I’ve learned from Victor:
1. Use short, powerful phrases.
2. Eat meat (I quit vegetarianism after a B&D article).
3. Pursue dreams, desires and goals with boldness and determination.
4. Building builds happiness.
5. Work out.
My man.
Thanks for this article. Your products work, Victor.
I am going through “30 Days of Discipline” again and it helps a great deal getting rid of distractions and into the right headspace.
Thanks Florian.
Hi Vic, Do you think that it is possibile to make great content and a lot of audience if you write a blog in some other language(not so widely known or popular) besides English. I mean if a person who starts that blog is not native speaker and is not fluent in English?
Wow, what the fuck am I doing? Now I understand what you REALLY mean when you say You, Inc. This will be my bible for a long time to come.
Yes.
Always tough love. I love your style, bro. There’s nothing in this world that comes close to being You and making money while at it.
Thanks for the great article!
My man. You’re welcome.
Thought your were racist Victor. Guess I was wrong.
Awesome article Victor! Currently working on building my own brand and your articles have been invaluable to the process. Keep posting great shit Victor!
“Keep posting great shit Victor!”
Of course I will.
Victor, deep in my my heart I always wanted to create solid content for people. And the only person who’s holding me back is ME. Thank you for the Wake Up! call.
You’re welcome.
This whole You Inc thing was a complete game changer for me. I first read about it in Gorilla Mindset (which I randomly bought on Amazon after searching ‘Self Help for Men’ as I saw my life starting to go down the crapper).
I used to think to myself ‘I’m an interesting guy, I bet people would want to read about my life and hear what I have to say.’ and then I’d go back to watching porn or videos on bodybuilding.com (Kris Gethin anyone?)
‘You Inc’ and your writing (as well as D&P and some other sites) taught me that people *do* want to hear what I have to say. All I need is the right platform.
Now my (BADNET) blog is 6 months old (I follow the write-publish-repeat protocol after reading it in one of your tweets) I’m starting to see some exciting growth and an increasingly engaged audience along with over 800 followers on twitter.
I also like what you said about writing for people, not robots. When I write free flowing from the heart, it comes out better than if I’m thinking ‘Will this sentence get me traffic on Google?’
My man!
Neil - I like your blog!
Thanks! It was set up by BADNET!!
Great post. Victor, on the name thing, I’m hung up on that.
Do you consider Tim middlestat a “cool” name?
Also I think you use a pen name. Care to elaborate on why someone should go with a pen name? For you was it just to have a “cool” name or are there other reasons?
Tim Middle is cooler, easier to read, easier to spell, easier to say.
Dude, if everyone just wrote and ‘made art’ the world would stop turning.
Not everyone dude, people like are too dull to do it and that’s obvious.
Yeah.
Well,
With a last name like Dunce….
BRAD, the whole point is that the whole world, WON’T.
So the real question is, do you want to be one of the few, or one of the many?
Because the many are lazy, entitlement driven, myopic, visionless, and weak.
“Great question for Google.” I lol’d. Haha. Great.
Anyway, I just skimmed through the article and I can already say it’s GOLD.
Lately, I learned to appreciate the finer things in life. Including Uncle Vic’s seldom publishing.
On to reading now, have a nice day, professor.
Thank you Teacher Vic for this great lesson. Now time to apply BIG TIME.
You’re welcome Leon.
Another great post, Vic. I don’t ever allow anyone to talk down to me but the tone of your posts makes me ‘smile.’ LOL.
Since that other guy got his easy question answered about “related posts…”
What is the opt-in plugin at the end of the post?
I forgot to mention on my earlier post…
Using BADNET is the best decision I’ve ever made (by far)…
I considered doing it myself because that it is basically what Vic recommends anyways but the customer service and technical support is unmatched.
I’ve reached out to BADNET for HELP several times after creating my domain and they’ve also responded within a few hours and fixed MY problem in the same day.
No questions asked… just fixed the problem. I am still perplexed by this…
The problems were all ones I created due to my ignorance and had nothing to do with BADNET’s setup or services btw…

My man.
I started watching The walking Dead last week
(Not a big fan of consuming content,
I’d rather create it but I make exceptions-Your blog, I consume the living crap out of it)
“Those people are the walking dead”
I thought the same thing before I read your article.
The zombies are the sheep, following the pack.(Corporate America)
The uninfected are the hustlers always moving and looking out.(Entrepreneurs)
Fantastic article!
As always, a strong kick in the ass. I’m currently in the process of downgrading where I can. Getting rid of distractions & lowering unnecessary expenses to invest more money towards business.
I need to regain my rock solid focus towards attaining a goal. Working for the man is a war of attrition. You have to keep focused and consistent if you want to make it out.
Thanks Victor,
Nick
Thank you Nick.
Omg.. Pause for a minute at that pat flynn thing..
So Fucking true haha!
That’s so right, didn’t think of it that way
I am going to bookmark this article since it’s badass and it’s worth rereading as a great reminder.
Thanks for writing this, Victor!
You’re welcome, Xeno.
Vic i haven’t started my business, but uncle vic your words makes a lot of sense to me, you are a prophet men, keep up the good work, thanks
I discovered B&D a while back, and it changed my entire blogging mindset.
I started the game of blogging wishing to be a industry blog, like a AskMen or such- eventually I fell out of that. I didn’t know shit about blogging, just that I was interested.
Your blog taught me how it should be done.
After many moldings and transformations, It is what it currently is, my blog Thabulb. Its much more focused. But I’ve been having a lot of trouble figuring the correct way to build that following, looking at sites like Copyblogger, and the like, and of course DangerandPlay, but I often search solutions instead of working at peak levels solely. Tweeting, and all of that. My site is currently a struggle, in my eyes, and i’d even questioned if my model was going to lead to success, thinking it not niche enough for the lull head masses to catch on to.
This post is magic to my ears. I learn so much from this site, and DangerandPlay.
I’ve always been a sole worker, and thought it great how you did it on your own.
With this article, you just solidified the fact that I’m not working like I should be, and I was ready to put my blog on the backburner for my other projects.
Now, I see my error. It’s funny how this article goes against so much of those other “how to blog better sites”
Anyway, thanks Victor, you’ve really opened my eyes and I relate to your methods as they reflect those I aspire to.
Appreciate the info as always.
Great list Victor. I am working at all these things so it’s good to see them enumerated. Here’s some things I have been focusing on :
I wrote a book and published it through Amazon. Sales have been lackluster but the experience of writing, formatting, and publishing a book was very satisfying. Sales are minimal because right now unemployment is low and nobody needs alternative methods for finding work. Here or on some other blog someone said to research what is hot before writing a book so that was a critical marketing blunder. But the topic was a personal strength so was able to write with passion and energy.
I got rid of all my belongings and put my house up for sale. That was huge as I had tons of accumulated junk. It took two solid months to unload it. I am focusing on minimalism and have retained only enough to do my payable work.
I moved to another city. Set up a home office and have started a marketing consultancy. For the past couple weeks have been creating a business card and website. For my website just wanted a simple consultant services advertisement. With my software and graphics background I of course have been doing it myself. Still looks amateur. Would definitely advise anyone without the software skills to hire this out. Installed a wordpress theme and have been tweaking it. About as much time tweaking as writing actual content. Right now having to learn some PHP. May have been better just to farm it out. I created a mockup in OpenOffice Draw that any web developer could work from.
As for being broad and not niche, my previous work was very niche. In my new locale there isn’t much work in it so after some market research broadened my offering while still selling my strengths. I will only work from my home office and commute only to initiate new contracts. Every time I have contracted for companies they stuck me in a broom closet with a crappy chair and an ancient computer, not to mention the personal energy drain you describe in your essay. The logistics of just getting to a regular job exhausts me before I start producing payable work.
Your other points are dead on too. I am not pursuing a social media strategy but I have a blog designed around a central theme and am following your pointers to publish useful content and build it slowly over time.
Now here’s something that happened the past couple weeks, we’ll see where it goes. My brother-in-law introduced me to a viet man who’s family has worked with my wife’s business and family. They came to our wedding in Saigon in 2007. He said that people in Vietnam love everything made in the USA, and is starting a business with some architectural ornamentation. You would laugh if you knew what it was but can’t spill the beans until he gets it started. So they asked me to help them get connected with American companies who supply the product. I made some phone calls and got him some samples, no big deal. Then later took him to the gun range where we shot some pistols and posed with AKs and ARs, and he put the photos on “facebook”. He told me I was like family and when he gets his business going, he will fly me and my son to Vietnam and China, where he says his customers treat him like a king. In reading about doing international business they say you must develop strong personal relationships so it’s funny that it’s happening without really trying.
Was talking to my son about it and he said I was living the writer’s life : drinking, shooting, blogging, traveling to exotic locales. Just wish people would start buying my damn book to better fund it all.
Great comment Elmer!
I think what I got the most out of this article is that in order to make real, consistent, and substantial money online you have to be an authority on things that sell well online. Victor happens to be an authority on the three most profitable and popular niches: fitness, making money online, and dating tips. I can be a true authority on rabbits but that doesn’t mean I can live off my one website on rabbits because nobody cares as much about rabbits compared to abs.
i think it’s great that you show us that it is possible to make s full time living off of a website. But unless it’s is a real profitable niche, then it seems minute to be able to profit as much as Victor has.
Another thing the stuck with me is that you have to be an authority on something before you can write about it.
I don’t have a killer body, I have a normal 9-5 job, and I’m single with little access with women. I feel like in order to have a successful and profitable blog (enough where I can quit my job), I need to be excellent in at least one of those three areas. That way, I can start helping people find those same answers.
Victor, thank you for reminding me that I am nowhere near close to being where I want to be with my body, my job, with women, and my life in general and that I have to be great at least one of these areas before I should even bother starting a blog that can be truly profitable.
On the right track now, Al.
Read this at the right time. Superb article.
Going to read 10 more times
Outstanding, motivational post, Vic! Got my site “You, Inc.” site registered, and I’m going to make daily progress towards success! You da man.
Víctor, I like a big part of The contents of your blog the attitude, fitness and diet in specific , but There are several things that has been changed, some for good others for worse,
- Could You please provide any advice about other ventures not realted on Blog construction, We know that it is one of the main incomes on your net but has been massive injected in your contents, not everyone have something reliable, qualifiable,or enough good to be shared, or even the quantity of atrticles to build a Site, You could maybe create another site with contributions of Your followers, paying them with attention, a shirt, a bottle of coffe, or even a link.
- Limit Your Political , racial and genre opinions, you are segregating Your market , Maybe your target is not the world, but seems that you are trying to get the atention of only people that have a deficit in one of the matters of that improves in Your blog, but also believes in : The all-american proud (USA is not very popular outside there), No woman allowed (Even You are doing an ecent effort), and against the Race mixing (USA is the mecca of the globalition).
- You are becoming everyday more and more irreal, You don’t use a real name, you are moving from palce to place, If someone is king , is king in their land
- Focus in how to make Us be great not on make us feel that Your lifestyle is unreacheable if We don´t leave X or Y, We don’t want to be You, We want to be the best version of Ourselves
We request these as Costumers of Your blog, or We can bring our money to somewhere else
“We can bring our money to somewhere else”
Go ahead. A quick search reveals you have not purchased any of the non-blog related items I have for sale. You are not a customer, you are a parasite. I do not care about your opinion.
I actually bought something in Red Supplements, You know people can have other e-mail accounts, however doesn´t matter,
I live in the USA part time, two companies form 0 to something and then to 0, irrelevant, I don’t matter
You are cutting the market even if You have a loyal base of fans, but not everyone can become a “regular” costumer or buying 4 blogs, 10 shirts whatever, The main income is form the new ones and You know It
“I actually bought something in Red Supplements, You know people can have other e-mail accounts, however doesn´t matter,”
You must have 2 different names as well. You bought “something” from Red Supplements, just can’t remember what it was huh.
“I live in the USA part time, two companies form 0 to something and then to 0, irrelevant, I don’t matter”
That’s terrific you were able to leave your 3rd world stinkhole. But wait a second…
“The all-american proud (USA is not very popular outside there)”
If American isn’t very popular why are 3rd world stinkers like you lining up to get in? And then telling me what to write about as an American? Something stinks here Ciro, and I think it might be you. Have a nice day.
Victor this is a great opportunity to do an article about to deal with comments that are not in the same channe , We mean is not only on blogs were We got people that don’t share our opinions, We don’t curse or kick them (just if is really necessary) , they are pulled out from the scenario with our decisions and if those are good enough We could make them work to achieve our goal
I have a small steel works warehouse, In recent years I had bought local rivals, but I keep their companies working as before, but the capacity of work let Us now get better deals in wholesale purchases
Maybe is not very related but I want to share it, best regards
“If American isn’t very popular why are 3rd world stinkers like you lining up to get in?”
and they better hurry up. Construction of the Wall will begin in November.
Victor Pride is successful because he is the authority on what he publishes.
His target audience are those who are anywhere along the path he has already travelled.
This is why he is able to comment with authority.
He doesn’t have to limit anything, or kiss anybody’s ass, including yours, and he can be as patriotic as he likes.
He is the king of his domain.
And as king, he is truly free to travel and be king wherever he is, whenever he is there.
He has focused in on how to help others achieve what he has.
Do you expect him to also help people become great cooks? Great accountants? Great doctors?
No. He helps people become great at what he is great at.
And by the way, if you had actually read his blog from the beginning you would see how much he helps
people in EVERY way.
You are not an American, you can’t write worth a shit, and you whine to someone who blogs about why they can’t help you do something else.
So, start a blog, in your own country, in your own language, and help EVERYONE.
My only regret in typing this response is that it took time I will never be able to replace.
You are a waste of time.
This is great, I congratulate Victor to get this level of loyalty is religious level (best business definitely , salvation is the greatest product) , awesome
Congrats, Victor keep doing the great Job
“– Could You please provide any advice about other ventures not realted on Blog construction, We know that it is one of the main incomes on your net but has been massive injected in your contents, not everyone have something reliable, qualifiable,or enough good to be shared, or even the quantity of atrticles to build a Site, You could maybe create another site with contributions of Your followers, paying them with attention, a shirt, a bottle of coffe, or even a link.”
If you read into his old articles and comments, he does mention Real Estate Investing -> Wholesaling (American based). If you aren’t good at blogging for example then you shouldn’t do blogging. If that is not your obsession then don’t start. Of course not everyone will be qualified, only few will though. His website itself is good enough and most people can benefit just by reading this website alone and *implementing* afterward (important part here). Also, He doesn’t owe any of us anything.
For example, if an obese person came here, read everything here related to diet (steak and egg diet), and workout and followed through via action then the obese man will go far in life than if he was to buy some “magic pills” online sold by motivational fitness guru.
“– Limit Your Political , racial and genre opinions, you are segregating Your market , Maybe your target is not the world, but seems that you are trying to get the atention of only people that have a deficit in one of the matters of that improves in Your blog, but also believes in : The all-american proud (USA is not very popular outside there), No woman allowed (Even You are doing an ecent effort), and against the Race mixing (USA is the mecca of the globalition).”
If I were you, I wouldn’t focus so much on that (race); it’s never ending cycle of someone being offended. There is no reason for him to water down his website to cater to everyone. The thing is you can’t satisfy everyone and he shouldn’t. He is American so obviously he is going to be pro-American. It’s no brainer here. A Russian is going to be pro-Russian as Chinese is going to be pro-Chinese. Most of his articles do not have racial or nationalistic overtone though; it’s a timeless content for every men out there to benefit and learn from it.
“– You are becoming everyday more and more irreal, You don’t use a real name, you are moving from palce to place, If someone is king , is king in their land”
If I was him, I do the exact same thing. In fact he is doing it smart. Why reveal real name and identity online? Do you realize how many crazy people are out there both online and real world? Identity theft is no joke and having privacy is relaxing feeling.
“– Focus in how to make Us be great not on make us feel that Your lifestyle is unreacheable if We don´t leave X or Y, We don’t want to be You, We want to be the best version of Ourselves”
What do you think You, INC is? Of course it’s you becoming best version of YOU.
You don’t need anyone’s permission to be the best version of yourself. You don’t need to ask anyone how to be great. Just *BE* great; don’t need to ask for permission. If he tells you something and you feel that you are unreachable then maybe it’s time to get a reality check. The truth is his lifestyle is not possible for everyone. Anyone can be an entrepreneur but not everyone will be.
“We request these as Costumers of Your blog, or We can bring our money to somewhere else”
Losing one “customer” is not going to severely affect his business. Remember people come to his website because there is a DEMAND for it. That means he is doing business well.
Your article has great advice that is obviously working for you, but I do not understand why you think you are a great writer when your actual writing is awful. You use “lol” all the time. You don’t write actual paragraphs. Obviously your goal is to make money, so being a good writer matters less than creating content- a concept that really only means “Anything that people will click on that will generate money”. Kudos to you for making it work. Your example surely gives me inspiration.
And yes, now I will give you an email to market towards, as you make money and I do not.
In addition to having very poor reading comprehension skills you are also very fat.

If you could always see a photograph of your haters things would always make perfect sense.
Hahahahah
isn’t google search great?
That’s a girl?
no its a grill.
a large one at that
You use “lol” all the time
he’s playing with its use in order to bring his point across.
Hey Victor, it’s been a long time since I commented here (different email address) but just came to say since I started following your YouTube channel, I’ve been making a lot of moves and JUST started working my own business - outside the blogging/ebooks route most other guys are doing. I’m literally going to create a YouTube video everyday this year among other things. Your recent posts have been complete gold for helping me accomplish this and all the other goals I have set up. I’m actively working AND studying my craft to create better videos, speak better, improve my site, and even the actual service I sell.
Before, criticism used to hurt my feelings, now the critics who speak about me/my business drive me to work even more. Already clocking in around 12 hours per day so far, creating, networking, drawing maps of what I want to accomplish (literally), etc.
It’s a lot of work, but fun!
My man.
Vic you say not to have a niche site. After reading the 4 hour workweek it seems like he recommends a niche. I know you are a fan of the book, could you explain why you disagree or your stance has changed? Thanks, I’m actually happy you aren’t recommending niche as I have been struggling to think of one.
“could you explain why you disagree or your stance has changed?”
No. I explain it clearly in the articles I write.
“If you aren’t creating content that changes lives then you don’t deserve to be paid and you won’t be paid.” - Gold, Vic, I understand your mindset so much more. I just want to briefly thank you because without you I would’ve been a wreck. Quick story, I read your article at 18 and the article was “18 Things Every 18 Year Old Should Know,” that planted a seed in my money and around 3-6 months after I read it I decided to take the leap and drop out of college. I spent the majority of that time “working on You Inc,” and it never really worked out because I was procrastinating / I wasn’t sure of myself. Fast forward I’m 19 now and although only a year passed I feel like my mind is at the right spot. Just so you understand, school, college, parents, every single fucking person who I came in contact with brainwashed me and convinced me that I WASN’T GOOD ENOUGH. So I had to spend a whole fucking year unlearning all the bullshit and I can now honestly say that I am at the right mindset in my life. I just finished “Think and Grow Rich,” and today I will write down the 6 steps for riches that he describes in the chapter “Desire,” I’m pretty sure you remember that chapter. So after I plan it all out and have it figured out I will work like a dog those two years so that I can be financially free. Everyone has the dream as do I but what separates me from the losers is that I know what I want, how I will get it, and when I will get it. I want to thank you Vic, you deprogrammed the bullshit that was programmed in my mind (not only you but other influential people) and now I’m ready because I’m 19 and already ahead of the game. At around 2 years I would graduate from college and by that time I plan to have an audience and some money coming in (not sure yet because I didn’t write down the 6 steps yet) but I WILL BE FREE. THANK YOU VIC, TAKE CARE MAN.
My man ?
Wow!
Almost identical story to mine. That article was a game-changer and one of the first seeds that was planted in my mind. All else was development, learning and action.
I wrote all those T & R goals and steps too, and achieved what I wanted, then I had to re-do it several times for bigger goals I smashed.
Keep up the consistent work Roman
Thanks man, and good job for you.
Great article!
#14 Don’t ask questions, shut the fuck up and learn instead.
Haha love it!
Should I get two domain names: one with my actual name and one similar to B&D? I noticed that you add content to both B&D and VictorPride.com.
My name is Al Sexton. My name might be unique enough to use on its own, without the other domain.
victor pride isn’t his actual name, its a pen name.
Always
own
your
name
no
matter
what.
I’m in the process of owning my name via a domain name. Should I buy the domain privacy protection plan?
Never mind, I have that straightened out. I now own my name. Thanks for the motivation.
I signed up for a domain name through BADNET and Bluehost and selected the $4/month plan and was charged $250 to my credit card from Bluehost. I thought it was only $4/month?
Bud I can’t tell you what you were charged through bluehost, ask them. I don’t see any reason WHY you would be charged $250 unless you added some extras. I CAN’T TELL YOU WITHOUT ANY INFO!!
I called them today they were able to fix it all. They were very helpful and had good customer service. Looking forward now to making a website/blog now. Thank you for responding to the comment
Im writing here cause I dont know if you would see the comment in the related post. Could you tell me which betting website you use to bet for UFC fights? Id rather use a site I know is reliable.
Wow, this is a great post. You just have to be bold enough to take that first step and put yourself out to the world.
Freaking love it Victor!
It’s all about hitting another level, so that when it comes to consistent work, I love that comment.
The reason is I had businesses, and never really worked, because I would get excited, and then leave it for a month, no income. Now I do 2 things every day, I know brings in money, leads, traffic, and basically took my business to 10k per month very fast.
Its all about consistancy like you said, and doing stuff every day, to get your END GOAL.
Vic,
Great post; thank you for this!
It’s coming in at the perfect time as I’m internalizing and taking action on the methods. Before it was all head-knowledge and putting the pieces together.
I always appreciate the unique value you give to the marketplace

I Love it
Hey Victor
I’m a whiny loser. I’ve discovered B&D a year ago but I only began to take action recently. I fixed my diet and now the next step is to work out. I’m 5’6 and 150 lbs (skinny fat).
I want to lift weights but because of a spine injury, the doctor said I can’t lift weights. I must first do bodyweight exercises and stretches. I never did sports so it makes sense that I must start with baby steps anyway. I bought 30 DoD but the doctor said I need something more elaborate than push ups, abs and squats. I know you are very busy but you are the only authority I trust regarding physical exercise. If you don’t have time to drop me a few advices about a bodyweight work out program, could you give me the name of a pre existing program that you endorse?
Thank you for the kick ass blog and I really hope you drop me some advices, even though you usually respond with only a few words.
John
PS: what about new world ronin?
PS2: love your videos on your you tube channel, keep them coming!
You’re just starting, pushups, pullups, squats and situps are fine. Check calisthenics on youtube for more elaborate stuff when you’re ready.
The three exercises promoted in 30DoD will work every major muscle in your body.
When you are ready to move on to more bodyweight exercises then I would recommend the bodyweight forum at StrongFirst.com.
Finally, if your doctor is a GP, says you can’t life weights, but you need to do more elaborate exercises than pushups, situps, and squats; then start looking for another doctor who practices sports medicine.
And whatever you do,
DON’T QUIT.
You can have a bad day, you can fall off the wagon, you can even whine in the beginning, but
NEVER QUIT.
You definitely put me back on the right perspective and encouraged me to stay on the course and do what I’ve been doing and keep going. Being alone in this game, at times doubts starts slipping in and question my “monk” lifestyle and if it’s going to pay off or is it going to flop and I wasted a whole bunch of time. But this definitely has helped. Thank you.
Yo Vic. How come you’re on TRT? you look young man. Did you ever try any proven T boosters like tonkat ali etc. Before hand? Cheers, awesome blog.
Thank you Professor Victor for this great lesson! I’m a 21 college student the past couple months I have been studying in England. I’ve been to 5 different countries and Paris this weekend, all in a span of 2 months! My life is one only people can dream about. I have much to say to the world and ready to get paid doing it. After reading this post I went and bought my domain name from Buehost, and as I type Badnet is creating my blog. I am thankful for this knowledge and ready to become a content creator everyday for the next year. After that year and when I have a strong follower base I will reach out to your again to come on as a guest.
Until then,

Victor sir
I live in India. I don’t like to talk to people who don’t think about their future.
Who go from here to there like animals.
Unfortunately almost 90% people are as such in India.
What should I do.
Should I avoid them or handle them by some method ???
I read your article and it got me pumped up already. I’ve started developing my action novel and you just given me more reasons to keep on going. It feels exciting to be a producer than a consumer.
In for accountability.
I’ll be publishing something every day from now on.
Victor sir
I am from India and I wear glasses.
I wanna improve my vision and personality.
I consulted doctor he said go for LASIK.
Should I go for LASIK or is there any other way to improve the eyesight
Blueberries and fish oil may help…Something to look into too.Good luck!
I was about to purchase a site through your link-badnet, but aint clear in the offer of Bluehost if I’m gonna be the owner of the domain or bluehost gonna take ownership of the domain and then rent it or sell it to me later.
It will be good to clarify this since I wouldn’t like to grow a brand/blog to find out later that I gonna be charged hundreds/thousands of dollars to keep my domain name.
You own the domain.
Tried again few days later to purchase but had a problem with payment because I’m from Venezuela and we have a fierce exchange control here, means basically no free access to dollars legally.
So I started thinking a way and sold my mmorpg account for 270 bucks and now looking a way around to get that money in paypal and invest all into building My Inc.
Anyways thanks for the inspiration Vic, now I’m determined to start my blog, because this gonna be my way out of this country, my way to freedom and following you since 2 years ago have motivated me, now is time for me to grow and become a prideful free man.
“Create content for yourself first”
I was always too busy trying to think about my audience and what they would find interesting.
This was the vital piece I was missing and what held me back for so long.
Thank you so much Victor for showing me the way.
I loved the post. Its good for me to hear real things from real man VIC.
You are a monster…in a good way. Thanks for the kick in the butt! I have a blog, just need to keep building up content and get better and better at it. I feel my time is coming for financial freedom.
Nice article.
I especially like #15
I always say that getting a group of unmotivated guys to do something is like herding cats.
Most people are lazy, disorganized and procrastinate.
If you wait for other people then nothing will ever get done.
Cheers,
D
“You, Inc. Is not a money tree until you put in the work to make it a money tree.”
“Put in the time now so you can make withdrawals later.”
This is more resonant than ever. It didn’t hit me as hard before because it just wasn’t time. But now it’s time.
Thanks Vic. Content is the most important thing an entrepreneur can produce. Without content, why would someone stick around?
Very nice post Mr.Pride.
Love your content, started my own blog this month.
Thank you for motivating me to get out of this shit hole called a J O B and its time
to create some fucking freedom for myself and my girlfriend so we can do whatever the fuck we want.
Kind regards,
Sven.
the secret?…is red supplements!
I love that idea of Me. Inc!! Time to start working on it!
Great post, thank you for it!
