Subj: A story and a video
—————

When I woke up on July 13th I had a big smile on my face.

I went to the mirror and I was in the best shape of my entire life.

I went to the computer to check my accounts, I had more money than I’d ever had in my life.

The early numbers gave an easy indication that July was going to be the best financial month the Bold and Determined universe has ever had.

I was about to check email when my little angel opened the bedroom door, smiled bigger than big, came to me, wrapped her arms around my neck and said “happy birthday daddy“.

It was my 32nd birthday and things were “coming together” quite well.

So it was a funny surprise when I opened my email and someone posed a question to me: when did things start “coming together”?

“Ha ha” I thought. Good timing.

But the reality is that there was no “one day it all came together”.

There wasn’t a day where I woke up and I had made it.

There were many days.

And they were a culmination of habits I picked up.

You want the secret to success?

It’s so simple…

Pick winning habits, drop losing habits.

I keep saying it over and over and over again but it’s so simple…

DO WHAT YOU NEED TO DO EVERY SINGLE DAY AND DON’T STOP.

If you’re like me you’ll wake up on your 32nd birthday or your 22nd birthday or your 52nd birthday in the best possible shape and place in your life….and you’ll still be hungry for more.

How do you do it?

Will yourself to do the things you used to hate (small things like waking up early, working out, eating right and dressing for success) and teach yourself to like and need them so they become habits.

Try it for 30 days and come tell me I’m wrong.

I’ve been there, I’ve done it, I’ve lived it and I’ll bet you $10 you can do it too.

Until next time.

Your man,

-Victor Pride

  1. Great little post Vic! Small things can be the hardest to sustain but without them big ones stand no chance! Thanks for the inspiration.

  2. Alexander says:

Great surprise for a Saturday morning and congrats on launching the channel. Will you be continuing with regular video content? Cheers.

  3. This. Is. GREAT.
    No, it’s beyond that.
    Extraordinary!
    No, it’s beyond that…

Victor Pride has surpassed the greatest thinkers, dreamers, doers, creators, educators, philanthropists, provocateurs… that are alive today.

    This further proves your authenticity!

    Congratulations on your continued success.

When the top Silicon Valley VCs contact you, remember this day. Today is the day that I make sure each one knows of you. You are changing the course of global events.

  4. This should go at the end…..

“We are what we repeatedly do, excellence then is not an act but a habit”

    Aristotle

  5. Victor,

Do you periodically update your products? If yes, how does word reach those who’ve already bought the product?

  6. alphawolf says:

Great first video man! I’m starting 30 days of discipline in a couple of days, no more excuses. See you in a month, will tell you how’s it been.

P.S. you look younger on video.

    • Victor Pride says:

I’ve lost 25 lbs in the past 10 weeks, it appears to have given me Benjamin Button disease. See you in a month.

      • Victor,

I’m wondering - how did you allow yourself to be walking around with 25lb extra fat in the first place? What went wrong?

And once you realised you were overweight, how did you lose it?

        Thanks,
        -S

        • Victor Pride says:

WTF are you talking about? I’ve never been fat in my life. I lost 25 lbs, not 25 lbs of fat.

          • So Vic ,it means that optimum(?) muscle mass makes a person looks younger? :)

          • ”And once you realised you were overweight, how did you lose it?”
            bahahahaha

          • Sam Philip says:

Well I was curious. I assumed it was fat because if you had 25lb of extra muscle mass on you, why would you diet to lose it?

          • Victor Pride says:

I wanted to look like a regular Joe in clothes but lean when with clothes off. I didn’t want to look like a jacked up bodybuilder in the video.

  7. Loved this video and loved the fact you mentioned age. I am in my 40’s and I HATE when people say”Oh well, doing such and such, that is for “young” people. I can’t change now. The words of LOSERS, the lazy and excuse makers no doubt. As you age even MORE reason to get in shape. Most people from late 30’s on up look like a big old whale or have the hideous skinny fat. Awesome to go the opposite way on that front and the Freedom front no matter what age you are! Beats drowning in pitiful excuses and indentured servitude every single time!

  8. Nothing says success like a safety razor
Looking forward for more inspiring videos

  9. Awesome awesome awesome. Two posts in one week? How lucky!

    Happy Birthday, VP.

  10. Happy birthday man. Going to the gym every single day, feeling the difference day by day.
    I thank you so much.

  11. Happy belated Birthday Vic!

    Great music and. . .

. . .Your apartment (?) looks really good.

I have no doubt that you, and B&D, will keep growing — as a result of putting out mind-blowing content.

  12. 30 DOD is life changing. Thanks for continuing to contribute your knowledge and experience to everyone here Vic.

  13. Josh Dumesnil says:

Just curious what shaving products you are using in this video. Razor, shaving cream, and applicator. I have done 30 days and still do most of them to this day.

    • Victor Pride says:

Merkur safety razor, badger hair brush, Taylor of Old Bond Street Coconut Shaving Cream, Baxter of California After Shave Balm.

  14. I needed that extra push, 30 days of discipline gave me that extra kick in the ass I needed. Thanks vic. Hope to shake your hand some day and thank you in person.

  15. Great Video. Are you a Zeppelin fan?

  16. Did anyone else expect a 5 second clip of Vic takin’ a shit?

  17. I can vouch for this challenge. I did it this winter. It changed my life.

    • Did it last winter. The cold showers were a bitch.

      • I’m actually looking forward to taking a cold shower this winter. The coldest I can get my shower during the summer feels like a swimming pool…just not the same effect.

        • Fred Mason says:

cold showers are awesome in the winter, they made me feel hot outside in the snow and all I had on was a hoodie.

Now I save money on winter clothes, hahaha

          • Same reasons here. I’m wanting to acclimate to the cold so it doesn’t affect me no matter what’s going on outside.

  18. Hi Victor,

you said you lost 25 lbs in 10 weeks. Did you change your diet ? or training regime ? Or do you just happen to focus more on bodyweight training vs lifting weights to be leaner ?

Thanks for taking the time off to answer my questions.

  19. Awesome and Powerful stuff as usual . Great video and I will be starting my 2nd go around of the 30days of Discipiline ASAP.

Thanks Victor for being an inspiration of Outstanding Acheivment to all men .

    Mike

  20. Fred Mason says:

I’m so happy you finally have a Youtube channel Vic!

Your works and your results motivate me everyday to get off my ass and do what I need to do to succeed. 30 days was enough to kick my ass and make a man out of me.

Keep up the good work and congratulations on all your success

  21. Happy Birthday! I already took 30-days of discipline and it has helped me adopt winning habits and made 2014 so far the best year ever in my life.

I have added one additional habit: I always make my bed first thing in the morning.

Thanks to the video, I now also know how to do the 100 push-ups/squats/sit-ups in proper form. Thanks again.

    Best, Florian

  22. That was a really great video, Vic. Good to see you showing how its done. Huge inspiration as always.

    - Wes

  23. Happy birthday uncle Vic! :)

Completed the 30 day challenge this January and I must say that my life has been upgraded tenfold.

To the men of action go the spoils.

  24. Hey Vic,

The part of this article that stood out the most to me was “Will yourself to do the things you used to hate (small things like waking up early, working out, eating right and dressing for success) and teach yourself to like and need them so they become habits.”

I just realized I’v been failing to stick to my projects and I keep procrastinating. This post gave me the motivation to focus on my projects and get it done. Thanks a lot.

Small effort each day really adds up in the long run. I’m looking forward to my “I’v made it” moment.

  25. True about habits. One I learned was ‘the winner effect’. In short, it is a term in biology to describe how an animal that has won a few fights against weak opponents win later bouts against stronger opponents. It applies from fish to humans.
Success changes the chemistry of the brain.

I formed a habit of 5 ‘small victories’ every day. (Anything: negociating a better price, getting the most likes on an newspaper article commentry, anyting really)
It works wonders as small victories began having a cumulative effect and pretty soon you begin to feel quite invincible in a way, which you are.
May you have another great year and keep up the good work.

    • Winning leads to more winning, it is true. Start tallying up the victories and watch the positive feedback loop start to play out as it helps create more victories. Taking joy in the “small victories” is a great place to start. Just got a girls number? Winning. Just finished a tough workout? Winning. In fact this is even a technique used by Navy SEALs to get them through the tough training.

  26. Wow Vic, what a great post! Thanks man, time to start “30 days” again, will start tomorrow.

Your website is amazing, you are an inspiration, you deserve it! All the best!

  27. Uncle Vic,

Three years ago I emailed you and told you I was struggling with life; trying to stay sober, trying to get through high school, trying to deal with the bullshit of being a boy.

    You sent back, “JUST ENDURE.”

    So I did.

Shortly after, I bought both your eBooks - BOAS and 30DoD.

They helped me stay busy at the time - I picked what I needed from both and used them to gain discipline and a bigger, better body.

After a while I decided to stop following both eBooks and instead do things my own way.

In the past three years, after “just enduring” like you told me to do, I hardly recognize myself:

I went from 130 skinny pounds to 160lbs of solid muscle.

I’ve increased my lifts in the gym enormously.

I stopped using all drugs and only drink occasionally - I don’t get drunk, I don’t party.

I stopped spending money and started producing.

My girls are my chefs, my maids and my whores - they all call me “Daddy”.

I’ve cut off losers, complainers and low-energy friends.

I get called ‘douchebag’, ‘asshole’ and ‘dick’ more than I get called by my name.

I don’t sacrifice anything in life - I do what I want when I want.

I don’t use any supplements and I don’t drink caffeine - I eat meat and always have energy.

I walk tall, proud and confident. I always look good.

I prioritize money, gym and food before anything else.

I started and failed over 20+ blogs - I finally created one that stuck - I am now my own product.

Men look up to me. Women want me. I command power and respect without talking.

I speak only when I have something to say.

I turn 20 years old this Monday the 28th. It’s been three years since that email but those two words, “JUST ENDURE” changed my life.

Happy Birthday, Uncle Vic - thanks for teaching me how to be a man.

    Your man,
    MR. VEINS

  28. A motivating video; I liked it and would be waiting for more. Btw you have a huge body and muscle definition except in your wrists, I have the same problem. My arms and forearms are huge but my wrists still look like a child’s.

  29. Sam Fisher says:

Happy Birthday Mr. Pride. Best wishes.

I used to think you can’t make people change but your words have turned my spark of interest for self improvement into a consuming fire of drive and obsession. Thank you for everything.

  30. Glad to see you on YT. You will definitely reach wider audience with YT videos than with ‘sound only’ Pridecasts if you do next Q&A that way.

  31. John Hope says:

    Hey Victor,
I love reading your articles and find them inspirational. I would love to start approaching more women but I feel that although I am told I am attractive I don’t feel it. It doesn’t help that since turning 30ish I have noticed a few stray eyebrows getting super long, nose hairs going wild and some ear hairs budding. This has kind of knocked my confidence. I know most men as they get older start getting hair going a little crazy so I don’t know why it bothers me so much, but it does. I just guess I think what if a woman I like or am interacting with sees one of those little devils. Because atfer all even with the most careful grooming regime sometimes you miss one. Any advice on this, and have you noticed this phenomenon since going past 30 years of age? It’s really gotten me down lately and feel it’s getting in the way of getting what I want with women and life. Thanks.

    • Fred Mason says:

      Approaching women requires:

      1) CONFIDENCE!!!!!

      2) looking your best

after those two all you need to do is say “hi” and start a conversation. She’ll either reject you or have a sore vagina thanks to you, hahaha

    • Victor Pride says:

Some stray eyebrow, nose and ear hairs? Is this a joke? Buy some scissors and stop thinking about. The problem isn’t with an ear hair, the problem is with you and your mind.

  32. Nice vid. And great tips. All truth, anyone can get there if they are willing to play the long game - but most people want it tomorrow and quit.

No one talks about the 2-10 years it takes to get to where guys live Vic are. Even Da Vinci went through this period. This video changed my life and view on success: http://vimeo.com/87448006

Do what you have to do everyday to get there, no matter how small the step - eventually, you will wake up there.

*1 year into the long game and loving everyday.

  33. Great video Victor, looking forward to more.

How much do you weigh now? You look very lean.

By the way, I have birthday on the 13th of July as well!

  34. Watched this video, got so pumped I did the 100X.. Exercise routine, feeling pumped up for the day.

For any1 out there 30DOD is worth the $

    Jordan

Ps nice video, very well made

  35. Looking really good, despite being off trt. your natty levels must have come back really fast.

  36. Very motivational indeed.

Victor Pride you are to me what Napoleon Hill was to Jennings Randolph.

If I may borrow some words from T.&G.R.
‘You (V.P.)’will be responsible, in a very large measure, for whatever success I may have in the future.”

    Thanks

  37. Another great post. Amazing to see how B & D has grown and evolved. Inspired me to star 3DoD again.

  38. Victor you look natural now Did you stop taking trt? If you did why did you? If you did will you get back on it

  39. Nice video Victor.

Is that pomade you use in your hair or do you use gel. Personally I like pomade better.

  40. balanceguy says:

Next video: Body of Spartan - Vic pumpin’ iron at the local gym.

The part of this article that stood out the most to me was “Will yourself to do the things you used to hate (small things like waking up early, working out, eating right and dressing for success) and teach yourself to like and need them so they become habits.”

    This.
    Thanks Vic for Everything

    • It’s simple really; make your first daily move right, because if your first move is wrong then…..

  42. Congratulations Victor.
Keep leading us and change the world for the better!

  43. Which steroids did you take to build that body? I know you used superdrol but was it neccessary for building that body? Could you build that body on T.R.T only? If so which dose did you use?

  44. You’re the man,Vic.

  45. Hey Vic,

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this before, but on your youtube embed you can add the parameter rel=0 to the youtube url to stop the related videos appearing at the end of your video.

    Like this:

    //www.youtube.com/embed/ulINwWz4XSQ?rel=0

  46. Brandon says:

I couldn’t help being reminded of Patrick Bateman’s morning ritual from the opening of American Psycho while watching this.

Awesome job Vic, looking like a lean, mean killing machine. Look forward to more videos from you in the future.

  47. excellent promo vic!

bought 30 days on my other account & email July 3rd. and body of a spartan jan 5th 2014

I have a question regarding book updates, do you email us when you’ve done revisions with the new copy?

    • No you have to email him and he’ll send you the new version. Someone already asked that in the comments

  48. I gotta a couple of questions for you Vic; it’s not related to the post, but here it goes:

    1. Do you believe in changing the world; making the world a better place?

    2. Do you believe in spirituality; and what are your views on it?

    • Victor Pride says:

      1) Vic, are you a clueless idealist or you believe in verifiable reality?
      2) Already answered this in one of the podcasts.

      • Do you think one man is capable of changing the world if he put his mind to it?

        • Victor Pride says:

I don’t waste my breath on something I “think”. The easiest way to get me to not care about what you’re going to say is by starting a sentence with “I think…..”. Snore. When I don’t KNOW, I open my ears, I shut my mouth and I listen.

          • I just want to know your opinion on the idea of one man being capable of changing the world.

  49. Do you make 10k each month coming from ebooks mostly? That’s about 333 books being sold monthly.

  50. Victor: Wondering about the workout thing.. I am trying to get rid of the muscle soreness quicker.I think I may have to stretch a bit more pre and post workout.. Do you still use the bio freeze? Any other things that help you recover quicker? I get annoying crap like tight legs, tight lower back, etc. The cat stretch has been pretty good for me though with the lower back..

    • Victor Pride says:

TBH I’m quite lazy about post-workout care but on leg day I always stretch afterward, kills the 2-3 day soreness that inevitably follows. No bio-freeze, my joints are good to go so I don’t need it. And I get a nightly massage. Foam rolling is good, even though I never do it, to really work out that tightness.

      • thank you man. Stretching and .Massage is where it’s at..Yes a friend of mine mentions foam rolling too.. Going to use all in my routine now.

        • Be sure to get a firm foam roller. The soft ones just don’t work. Some people swear by rolling, stretching, then rolling again. Tried it once, seems to work pretty well.

  51. Love this! Started my thirty days of discipline this morning.

Normally I am not a morning person. For my whole life, I’ve always wanted to get up as late as possible. I thought there was no way I’d be able to get up at 5am and make it through the day. Well I did and I actually feel okay. In fact weirdly, my mind woke me up at 4am. Maybe subconsciously I knew I’d committed to this so it woke me without an alarm.
    Exercise:
    Pushups 15/15/10/15/10/15/10/10
    Squats 100
    Situps 30/25/20/25
Looks like I have strong legs but really weak arms and upper body. I’d love to see myself doing 100 straight pushups after 30 days. That would be amazing.

    Mort

    • Victor Pride says:

Great work. I never wake up with alarm clock, don’t need it. Tell your brain when to wake up and it will. Too early usually.

    • If you hate your life, even alarm clock cant wake you up.
If you love your life, you will wake up early every day to enjoy it.

    • Okay, so I reached day 30 and here is an update.

Woke up at 5am every day except one.

Started off taking normal showers and then progressively turning the temperature down until it was cold. On day one, I span around under the cold water once, and then each day I span around one extra time. After a week, spinning around under cold water was making me dizzy and it took almost thirty seconds, so I just stood under it for thirty seconds. The next day I just started taking colds showers from the start. This was really hard at the beginning, but it’s okay now.

      Exercise:
      Pushups 48/26/26
      Squats 100
      Situps 100

I’ve been eating no more than twice a day. Absolutely no snacking. I have often had some kind of sugary dessert straight after my evening meal though, so even though, having looked in the mirror, I have obviously lost some weight, I think I could have been leaner. I have a massive sweet tooth!

I’ve been doing my goals every day. I reckon I got through 80% of the goals I set. With my main goal, I was only able to work on it indirectly for the first few weeks. It’s only this week that I’ve been able to directly pump time into it.

I always carry a notebook now. I always dress well. It pays, as I am a PUA. Masturbation has been a problem as I meet a LOT of hot women each week and it makes me really horny. If I don’t fuck one of them I get blue balls really easily. I managed to stay to masturbating a maximum of once per week though.

I’ve been working on posture for years, so that was never an issue and I believe in the maxim of ‘never explain or apologise’, so answering yes or no questions directly was pretty easy.

  52. Fucking amazing.

  53. Alexander says:

Nice instagram, Victor. Interesting to see your lady take up more and more space in the B&D brand. Cheers.

  54. Victor I know that you mentioned eating beef end egg whites to look like the last picture. What’s your take on not eating carbs? I heard that you lose fat but also a lot of muscle mass as a natty. I get real flat when I eat low Carb and weak. Any tips?

    • Victor Pride says:

I said I ate plenty of beef and egg whites, I didn’t say I ate no carbs. If you’re flat on no carb you need a carb up meal. Once every 4-7 days ought to do the trick, depending on your bf levels.

  55. rickyrawness says:

I want to change for myself. I have watched too much porn; I frequented Mike in Brazil, Beauty Dior, and Kim Kardashian with Ray J. I seen many others as well. Porn has increased my insecurity I had with my wife. I always thought I could not please her enough because I don’t last long; I very often believed she would go out and cheat. However I was wrong and it made my attraction with her go down. My wife loves confidence, and I lacked it. I just kept watching porn, beating my meat until my prostate was in pain and then I felt extra lazy not taking charge in life. We lose so much nutrients when we ejaculate, its tiring. I am going to make a change, Fapstronauts we will change. Total body overhaul, with pics included. Diet will change. Prayer and Meditation. Vocab will change. Weightlifting. 30 Days of Discipline by Victor Pride. Wardrobe Change. Why should I watch another man have pleasure and then FAP to his enjoyment. That is super lame, and that does some psychological damage big time

  56. Hey Vic, where do you get your workout clothes from? Like your sweat pants, tanks tops etc..

  57. Hey Victor,

This was incredibly inspiring to read/watch.

I’ve started following a morning routine of push-ups/squats/crunches and the results are nothing short of amazing; my focus is much better, my goals are clearer, and I finish whatever work I have more quickly.

    Few things:

Although these are body weight exercises, do you ever do weighted push-ups (e.g. plate on your back or backpack with weights) or weighted squats (with a weight ring around your neck)? The Great Gama, one of the most formidable wrestlers of all time, practiced this way and I’ve found these modified exercises to be helpful.

Also, do you take any dietary supplements for stomach health? I know you’ve mentioned a probiotic before called Yakult. I’ve had intestinal/bowel issues for a long time and it screws up my consistency with exercising and lifting.

  58. Victor are you still lifting weights during this video or bodyweight exercises only? Why did you get off trt? Aren’t you supposed to take that for life once you get on?

    • Victor Pride says:

During this video? Bodyweight only. During this time frame? Weights. Like I said already, I got off TRT to make it easier to lose weight and get dry.

  59. I was just reading an article before regarding the rise in homelessness in Denver, Colorado and officials are saying the fact pot is now legal there is contributing to it..No shock. Initiative goes away. People work to get high. I compare it to this video and it is night and day.Rising early, getting a good shower in, a shave, the squats, the nice dress code, etc. A totally different approach to life. A better one. One with a focus and a passion.

I am halfway through the Tim Ferris book now- The 4 hour workweek. Very inspiring and very telling in cutting through the BS. Focus on the productive and cut out the non-essential that robs so much time Stop being busy and focus on production and gee, actually have some FUN in life.. What a concept. Next up will be the Millionaire Fast Lane. I have the Napolean Hill book somewhere in my place. That is on the agenda big time as well.

I believe in you, Mr. Pride. I believe in your pursuits. I believe in the diets, the working out, the steak and eggs, the being disciplined. My body is changing for the better due to it. My mind is more focused than ever. You have helped to open my mind for better things- to actually pursue things I never thought could happen outside of being a ballplayer or actor. It is coming to fruition. I will never stop until I am content with the results and keep pushing more after that but with me being in full control of the ship instead of being a deck hand.

It is very true. THIS era is perhaps the best for true freedom thanks to the net. Little start up costs and literally a whole world as your customer base. NO brick and mortar business which ties people to a particular area. And once the concept takes hold- if one wishes- to move to another country with American dollars, well, it opens the door a lot more.I guess writers from previous generations did such things or again, a ballplayer or actor. But most were tied like slaves to their “jobs.”

My first wake up call came with Dave Ramsey. But I never applied it to doing what I want in life. What I TRULY want. On paper some of the jobs were good. But my soul was not. Hated it. Now I feel true freedom coming my way. Once you taste it, there is no going back. I will be my OWN man and force it. Will, not skill, indeed.. Thank you sir, for having me spark the fire in my life. People say they believe GOD/CHRIST will help them in life. Indeed I believe that. But then the person has to DO IT! Ain’t no blame game here. Go get your GOD given life!

    • Victor Pride says:

Thank you for the great compliment, Bob. I have made this the featured comment on the home page.

    • Gibran Crismatt says:

I have to totally AGREE with you in the last part. Everybody seems to be waiting for GOD to help or the Government to provide.

GOD and The Universe do play a special part they set things in motion and easy for people to do and achieve.

The thing is people FORGET TO GO AN GET THEM!

Weak want it delivered in their hands the STRONG go and get it!

  60. Hey Vic, love the vid, physique is looking great, where are you at height/weight/bf%?

  61. Regarding the look sharp rule of 30 Days of Discipline, if you ever wear tuck in shirts, one accessory I’d definitely recommend is shirt stays or shirt garters.

They work like suspenders do. One end attaches

  62. One end attaches to the bottom of your shirt, and the other attaches to the top of your socks. It keeps your shirt flat, looking sharp and tucked in. It’s uncomfortable at first, but you’ll get used to it. Look it up on Google for more information.
You can buy it here http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0001XLP9Q?cache=6062fa6337937eeeb09407f3d112289e&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70&qid=1406636708&sr=8-7#ref=mp_s_a_1_7

  63. hair gel or pomade ??? workout clothes, i like your pants??? you kidding me!!! is this some fashion site? these are comments from spartans? LOL

  64. Great video Vic. It show that you practice what you preach.

  65. Gibran Crismatt says:

You can count on Uncle Vic to get you fired up.

I lost track of things everything got messed up again. College, girls, parties ,nagging parents don’t actually give out winning advice just the regular old stuff they were told.

My projects and vision got lost in a mess.

Now that I see this I will START 30 DAYS OF DISCIPLINE, STOP MAKING EXCUSES AND START KILLING.

    Kind regards from Panama

30 days of discipline should be mandatory for everyone starting from middle school and continuing for the rest of their life.

  67. Hey Victor,
Many experts recommend creatine for weightlifting and other sports.Personally i rather use it than bullshit like bcaa,
Whats your opinion on creatine: duration, (no)benefits?

  68. sex symbol says:

Victor whats your opinion on retirement and pensions? do you ever see yourself retired just enjoying life with no business or job?

  69. How much sleep do you get each night?

  70. Hey Vic, I’m 21. I had been extreme dieting (1400cals with less than 30g fat per day and a shitload of protein and small amount of carbs for 4 months. I’ve lost about 25lbs but had no mass to start with and look like shit. I since upped my carbs and filled out a little. I didn’t realize I lost my libido until I was about to have sex with this girl and my dick was like an accordion player. Noodle dick. When I did get it up, it wasn’t for long. I searched and found out that my diet fucked my system all up. Anyway, I upped the calories gradually and got to 1800 with 60g fat from mostly eggs and peanut butter. Got my libido back but a week of drinking fucked it all up again. After this I now Eat about 2000-2100 and eating 80-90g fats, 100-120g protein and the rest carbs. No carbs on rest days (fats, protein) and carbs, proteins, fats on workout days (3 days a week) Am I on the right path to restore my test levels or should I up calories more? Considering I’m still on a deficit

  71. Thanks to you Victor, I have a blog up and running and I’m on my way to kicking some ass. You seriously changed my life for the better and changed my perspective on life completely. Without you, I may have been stuck in a cubicle for the rest of my life. I owe you one.

    • TheGreyWolf says:

Leo, you are off to a good start. I wanted to leave you a comment but couldn’t find a way to comment on your post.

      Couple of tips;

Make it easy to comment on your posts.

Target your audience. Your syntax and diction flows well. Easy to read. Every guy in High School wants to know how to be Bold and Determined. Tell them. Show them.

Quality Quality Quality. Nobody gives a shit what you say if all you have to say is shit.

Good Looking Loser has an excellent blog. His recent post on nervous guy game is gold. I let two of my 17yr olds watch. They then went out to see who could get the most phone numbers. Confidence building.

So think about what every Freshman-Senior wants to know. Target them. Empower them. Educate them. Embolden them.

      Good luck.

  72. Although didnt found any comments here i see your point that creatine is useless.

  73. sex symbol says:

Happy belated birthday Victor. What’s your take on getting older? Do you fear the grey hair and getting old and wrinkly?

  74. Great video Vic!!

A minimum of work put into the video for maximum effect!
    Thanks for the inspiration.

  75. Victor, what is your opinion on business cards quality? I see two “religions”, one that claims that business cards are not that important as most get trashed, so there’s no need to get anything different than a Staples cheap business card. The other viewpoint is kinda like “American Psycho”, where business cards are an important (if not something to get obsessive on) item. If so, do you think that business cards are part of the “halo effect” you talked about?
Ok, it might be a stupid question…
    Thanks

    • Victor Pride says:

I’m of the American Psycho viewpoint on business cards. Make them the best, make them memorable. I can’t remember the amount of times people would comment on my business cards, “oh, wow”.

      • TY.
BTW I just learned my lesson, 401k is a scam. Taxed at 20% + 10% penalty if you cash in your own (vested) money… my God. How is it even legal I don’t know.

        • It’s legal because of the ERISA Act of 1974. Businesses wanted to move away from costly defined pension plans, in favor of 40x plans. Being a worker is just modern-day slavery. Everyone needs to get that into their heads.

          • At this point, I agree with you. I wish I knew it before… well, time to work toward a new life.

  76. Hey Victor any advice on male pattern baldness or alopecia? Any herbs or supplements that someone can take to reverse it?

  77. Hey Vic Im an pakistani bout’ to be 18 year old MAN! Since following 30DoD since my 15th birthday i really started to prioritize girls I have a gf now but she wont cook n clean for me. Now my parents told me that i should marry an young pakistani girl who would cook n clean for me. Now if I dont marry the girl I get kicked out. Should I marry the girl or move out? BTW i live in Holland! PS i know that i woukd prioritize money more when i have that good clean girl.

    • TheGreyWolf says:

John, I saw this question, or a nearly identical one a few months back; from you?

Congratulations on doing 30DoD for nearly 3 years!! I’m just trying to get to 30 days.

You may find your answer in the future. Visualize what kind of life you want to be living in ten years. You are at the crossroads of choosing two different cultural lifestyles: Pakistani or Western.

My parents gave me a similar ultimatum at 18 years of age involving a gf and college. I walked, and never looked back.

It’s a life changing decision. Maybe that perspective will help you. I won’t recommend one over the other, but writing down the pros and cons of both choices would be a first, crucial step.

    • Victor Pride says:

I can’t answer this life question for you, but sounds like a pretty decent deal to me.

  78. I printed out a picture of you and stuck it on my wall. Every day I look at as motivation. I haven’t had carbs in over a week and am getting lean and staying big. Thanks for the inspiration.

  79. Keep it up! Nothing else really, I could say.

  80. Victor What are the side effects from getting off trt? I heard that its good when you are on it but a nightmare When you get off. Can you explain?

    • Victor Pride says:

It’s been my experience that when you get off TRT you feel terrific for about 7-10 days. After that the side effects include low libido, annoyance at small issues, snapiness, malaise, flatter muscles etc. On the reverse, my skin started to look really good and it looked as if I were “anti aging” like Benjamin Button but that could also be due to dieting as I was very, very strict.

      • hey testosterone apparently actually screws with collagen in your skin reducing the amount so you wrinkle easier and look less tight and vibrant, I believe it is significant as you wouldn’t be the first to mention looking older on test/ younger without it, I’d look into something to boost collagen synthesis if you’re wanting to stay looking young and tight in not just your body but also your face.

  81. Victor you mentioned that you dont fear getting old or what comes with aging. Why is that? Can you explain?

  82. What does it mean “TRT”. It´s tribulus terrestris, or what ??

  83. Just got 30 days of discipline. Can’t wait to start putting it to use!

  84. Awesome video Vic!
Looking forward to more of this!

  85. Great video Victor!

  86. So for the record, is trt a recommended practice, or have opinions changed on the matter?? Not a big deal deal either way, willing 2 look at both sides of the coin.

  87. Hi Victor,

Awesome video, very inspiring. I just got news my investment went to shit, but here I am to show my face. You see, lots of folks come here to say they are wining and that’s fine. At this very moment though I’m not winning and the only reason I know how to get back on my feet is because I bought your book a year ago. 30 days of discipline is what every man on this planet needs to get back to what’s important. I will win, I’m sure, just a matter of time. Thanks for the great work,

    BM

  88. David of Sassoun says:

    Vic,

Going to the gym is not an option in my location. Any tips on how to progress via bodyweight training?

  89. Victor,

I am a pathetic wimp and a shell of a man. Overweight, I spend my days in my own filths, jerking off to porn and doing nothing with my life.

I am going to take this 30 days challenge. I will let you know about how it went.

    • Utopianfreeman says:

      Respect.

    • TheGreyWolf says:

JB, the key to success for 30DoD is that you DON’T STOP!!

If you do stop, this is what you have to look forward to:

“I am a pathetic wimp and a shell of a man. Overweight, I spend my days in my own filths (sic), jerking off to porn and doing nothing with my life.”

  90. So simple yet so inspiring. It reminds me why I hustle: help people + improve your life = happiness.

  92. TheMantle says:

Hey,Vic would you be doing a podcast where guys can call in anytime soon?
It would be a very good idea.

  93. Alexander says:

    download error?

  94. Vic,

You said you went off trt for this video. Did you have to begin any PCT treatment, like Clomid, to kick start your natural levels after being on trt for quite some time??

  95. Haha this is awesome!!

Love how you are so open now about having photos/videos of yourself, really does make a huge difference and backs up every post you make with the evidence of true hard work.

    Will

  96. Thats a pretty sweet life Vic.

  97. Hey Vic, I must say that you have an incredible power to motivate people.

I was wondering, since you’re waking up at 5AM, at what time do you go to bed? I often find myself awake until 12PM and sleeping for ~5 hours doesn’t seem enough for me.
