When I was 12 years old I found a young-adult book called Rumble Fish.
I read the book and I was blown away.
I thought “this is the first book I've ever read that really understands my situation“.
After I read the book, I read the “about the author” section to find out about the author.
The author was named S.E. Hinton but I couldn't find much more information about him.
S.E. Hinton was a total mystery to me but I loved his writing.
I started reading all the S.E. Hinton books I could get my hands on.
The Outsiders, That Was Then This is Now, Tex.
They were good, but none of them had the impact that Rumble Fish had on me.
I tried to find out about S.E. Hinton but I couldn't find much. This was 1994, way before the internet was common.
It was perhaps a year after I read Rumble Fish that I found out more about S.E. Hinton and I was a little surprised at what I found.
S.E. Hinton stood for…
Susan Eloise Hinton.
HUH?!
She went by the name S.E. Hinton instead of Susan Hinton because the publisher thought that boys would not read a book written by an author named Susan.
(They were right, I never would have read it if it was written by Susan Hinton and not S.E. Hinton).
Going by S.E. Hinton instead of Susan Hinton was a genius move.
The name became larger than life and mysterious at the same time.
Who was this S.E. Hinton?
S.E. Hinton was an enigma. S.E. Hinton was larger than life and a ghost at the same time. S.E. Hinton was mythical.
It gets better…
Not only was S.E. Hinton a girl, she was 15 years old when she wrote her first book - The Outsiders.
That's amazing, I thought. Not that she was a woman, but that she was so young.
When I solved the riddle of S.E. Hinton I was so inspired to write because she had written such a great book and she was a teenager, just like me.
She was a teenager living in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I was a teenager living in Wichita, Kansas.
I wanted to write, and she did write.
So I knew it could be done, and I thought to myself…
“If she can do it, I can do it.”
I didn't do it, but I filed the thought away…
S.E. Hinton was the first person who ever gave me hope that I could be a writer.
It was not the fact that she was a woman that inspired me, it was the fact that she was a teenager (like me) that gave me hope.
“If she can do it, I can do it.”
S.E Hinton's first book, The Outsiders, was released in 1967.
That was almost 50 years ago. 50 years ago a teenage girl was changing lives.
That was way before the power of the internet and social media.
Changing lives is how you make money online
Young miss Hinton was able to change my life with nothing but some words on a page.
You can accomplish so much more today with words + video + photographs + an audience that can contact you.
There is more opportunity now than ever before in human history, if you aren't taking advantage of that opportunity then you are being taken advantage of.

It is much harder to go work a 9-5 job than it is to be your own boss and make your own money.
My life was a lot “harder” when I had a normal job and was struggling to pay bills (and struggling to wake up in time to get to work).
The people working their office jobs and living like office slobs cannot take solace in the fact that at least what they do is easy and what internet entrepreneurs do is hard.
The stone cold reality is that working an office job like a normal slob is way harder than working for yourself online.
You have to wake up when you don't want to, you have to get through traffic to get to the office you don't want to get to, you have to wait for 3 day weekends to catch up on sleep and laundry, and you aren't free to come and go as you please.
Normal jobs have a lot in common with jail.
But then again, a lot of people who go to jail learn to love it. Some people cannot handle total freedom. Some people love being told what to do.
If you cannot handle freedom and the responsibility of being accountable to only one person then working a job is fine.
But for total freedom you have to go totally online.
Digital business is the only way to succeed without any other investment, time, money or schooling.
Anyone can do it but I honestly don't want everyone to be successful.
If everyone had what I have no one would ever serve me coffee, my internet servers would always be broken, nothing would work.
This information is for the select few who demand more from life.

Work, for you, is creating content.
Content can be blog articles, YouTube videos, Instagram photos etc.
It can be literally anything that you post online that helps to build your brand image.
Do not be niche! Do not publish content about only one subject.
You need to be a whole, complete person and your work should reflect that.
Release content on the subjects that interest you but don't limit your content.
You can do fashion, makeup, jewelry, success, dating, diet, exercise - do everything!
Your readers/viewers/audience want to know you and they want to be like you, so give yourself to them.
4) Build an audience
Building an audience takes time.
How much time does it take?
All of it. It takes all of your time. 24/7.
If you aren't prepared to give it the time it deserves then you do not deserve success.
You need to collect your audience as subscribers. Subscribers to your blog, subscribers to your YouTube channel, followers of your social media accounts.
Subscribers to your social media accounts but you also need to collect email addresses of your subscriber so you have direct access to them.

Mostly I see direction to split things off and not confuse the audience, or risk losing some of them by having both (for example) health & fitness posts and Arduino programming posts, or mixing blacksmithing with cooking. But between this and the Being Yourself article, I’m starting to see the wisdom of presenting a whole person. It’s just more interesting and feels like more of a relationship with the reader.
The whole is better than part of the whole.
People are looking for specialized knowledge.
Broad websites do not rank well.
If you are writing about Fitness,nutrition, dating and other things people do not see
you as an authority.
Victor ranked his website before blogging became more competitive.
He is not an expert. There are 8 figure bloggers out there.
Victor is doing a diservice to his followers. Most of them will get lost in the noise of the internet.
If I want advice about dating I go to the authority on that subject just like fitness or internet marketing.
I am not saying you can’t make some money but you are leaving so much on the table by not narrowing your niche.

I have no clue still to this day why that affected me so much but I knew instantly what he meant and took it to heart.

This is basically what I did to get through those times when I felt like going back down to Philly and picking up more dope.

I think I just have immersed myself so much in your words, especially at a time when I was on the verge of death (literally playing Russian roulette everyday: should I get heroin, should I not get heroin, etc.) that I sometimes forget that everything is going to be ok and I don’t have to totally immerse myself in your words anymore.

Write about the good, the bad, and whatever else is notable about your travels.
Become the expert in your world.
Tell your readers what to look for, what to avoid, and how to negotiate and bavigate a location you have already been to.
Have an opinion.
This place sucked.
This other place rocked.

I thought I was the only chick that read this. Funny I told a friend about his blog. He read some articles and was hyped up at first but after a few days, he lost motivation and went on about how much of a dick you seemed to be. I saw that as an excuse and din’t bother with him anymore. I choose not to hang out with people that do not have the same mindset as I do. I’m building my brand and company, and you can either come along with me or move!!!
Personally, I don’t care about your personality/ attitude. I prefer straight talk. I like your content and what you write about makes sense.

When I first opened this link I thought the title was something about picking up women…and I was pleasantly surprised. This is pretty much a blueprint for anyone who wants to work online. I’m taking my website more seriously now and it’s starting to take off, it’s really satisfying and educational, I’m learning so much.

I thought you only support males. I used to admire you more than anyone else. I never had any male figure from whom I can learn so much. But I feel you are also pleasing women to gain more subscribers now. It’s your life but I am feeling betrayed that you are writing about women’s. In my office all the lower level jobs are with males( Cleaning, serving coffee, Security Guards,Etc) and females are in upper management( HR head, Admin head, Training manager etc). I am hurt after reading this article. Feminist are better atleast they change.

Many readers did not read this article because it has “women” in the title. Big mistake for them.
And why would that surprise you? While I think it’s not merely your intention - this blog can come across as with some anti-woman sentiment, and I think some of your readers subconciously see it that way (hint: why have many of them not clicked on this article?). Most of your readers are young, immature, ignorant, and easily impressionable. I have noticed they are easily influenced by what you say. I am a young man, but not impressionable or immature, I can think for myself and critically.
When you fail to make a distinction between feminism and all women, it sends out a negative vibe. What’s with that article where you compared women to dogs? What kind of man are you? When you do things like that, you are no different to a male version of a feminist.
I am very neutral here, I hate feminism and think they are deluded. I know a lot of women can be bad, but comparing them to dogs makes you a scum with no decency; no different to a tattooed loser who uses foul language all day and calls all women whores. Afterall, your mom is a woman isn’t she?
Summary: hate and trash feminism all you like, but generalising all women is low and sends out the wrong message. Even if some women (usually the feminists) like to generalise and behave anti-socially, responding in the same manner means you’ve stooped down their level. The result: nothing changes.
Side note: You are disrespecting the Bible through your article title. Something I would expect from an atheist.

Don’t overthink it. The word “Bible” is used as fancy marketing word. Like using metaphor for “complete” packaged guideline kind of stuff.
For example, which sounds more impacting. Which link would you wanted to click on if you saw either. Which do you think people would click on more?

Check out some ebooks out there have the word “bible” as part of the their ebook, article title. Some people use it for clickbait purpose. Since everything in life and online are core of sales and marketing purpose, you should know by now —>Almost anything can be monetized $$$$$$$$.
I remember when I read The “Vertical Jump Bible” by Kelly Baggett about increasing vertical jump. That ebook also has the word “Bible”.
I remember couple of other articles I read has the word “Bible”, “testament”, any powerful wording to attract attention and draw in readers and get the message across.
Negative Vibe? Men shouldn’t get so worked up on emotions.
Easily influenced? Well influenced, yeah but if you also live through experience, it can be confirmed as well. Successful people agree on A LOT (not every issue). On minimal differences, there can be slight overlap but nonetheless successful people think alike for the most part.
By the way, both women and dogs like Men with leadership skills. Both women and dogs like being told what to do.
Why write for women? They’d be way happier as stay at home moms.
Definitely be happier as stay at home moms with no extra money and nothing to do since machines clean the house. Extra income sucks!!!
Stay at home moms won’t be stay at home moms forever. Faster than you blink, kids are going to grow up, drive, and then move out. At that point you want a woman to have an income.

Women would be happier as online entrepreneurs rather than partaking in the dreaded rat race. They get to make an income, satisfy their natural solipsism and craving for recognition, and spend their time with their families. A triple-win situation!

Don’t read fiction books unless you truly love the author.
Read non-fiction, such as biographies, self-help books (buy them used, they’re never worth the full cover price), and textbooks on specific topics.
If you want a bedtime story, get a subscription to a short story magazine (“Asimov” and “Analog” for Science fiction, “Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine” and “Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine” for nice murder mysteries/thrillers, “Cemetery Stories” for horror), and read short stories for when you want to relax your brain with some fiction. That way you enjoy beautiful stories with 1/10 of the time commitment.

Your words got all the way to Israel and I’m killing it… and it’s only the BEGINNING.
Women need to hear alternatives to what feminists have been preaching, which is mainly that they have to mimic men to have a fulfilling life. I wrote a blog essay advising young women to put children first and everything else will follow. With the modern internet there are boundless money-making opportunities that did not exist until recently. I hired a female realtor recently to sell my house. She has several grown children and is happy about that. Focusing on a corporate career early in life puts women at risk for being childless. As I am just getting started with internet business I don’t have the experience to share with them so it’s good to see you doing that.

Everything you said is true, I have been writing, blogging, started a Youtube Channel (800 videos now), and Instagram. Funny thing if you share food, workout pictures and motivational stuff its crazy popular. Love the blog, believe more folks would be happier working for themselves if they can keep debt under control or expenses low. Energy levels super high now that I started green smoothies everyday and adding weights to my workouts.
