A lot of people work their entire lives so they can retire to the beach or to the mountains.
The life goal of many men is to be free enough to live clean, healthy, happy and free.
It's a shame that by the time most men have retired, their bodies are damaged beyond repair, their minds are damaged beyond repair, and their retirement income isn't as much as they thought it would be.
They worked so hard for that dream, only to never be able to realize it.
I have that same dream.
My goal was always to “retire” somewhere in the mountains.
However, I am different in one very important way…
I don't have to wait until I'm 65 years old and physically and mentally shot.
I'm young, free and financially secure.
But that doesn't mean I'm in prime, tip-top shape.
One of the nasty drawbacks to working online is you have to sit in front of the computer for hours at a time.
This is no good for the human body!
We're supposed to walk, run, stand, jump, play, hunt, wrestle, fight, fuck etc.
We aren't meant to sit hunched over all the time. If you do sit hunched over all the time you will damage your body.
I have done some damage to my body chasing my purpose.
Ironically my body aches from sitting and typing, not from deadlifting or squatting.
My wrists, hamstrings, shoulders and lower back hurt not from any strenuous exercise, but from stationary office work.
Lifting weights for 30-60 minutes per day simply isn't enough to reverse the damage. It helps but it doesn't cure.
Thankfully, though, I am in a position where I can fix any issues that come from sitting and typing.
Unlike most people who work in an office and let their body degenerate to the point of no return, I am free to do as I please.
And I'm pleased to live a green life in 2016.
Before you think I'm a hippie kook let me explain, man…
Living abroad has taught me things I would have never learned if I had stayed in America.
In fact, it taught me the extreme importance of 4 things:
- Clean, good, fresh food (It wasn't until I lived in a place where the food was awful that I realized just how important food is to overall well-being)
- Clean water (Not just clean water, but you need to drink enough water. I was chronically dehydrated for years and didn't realize it. You need 3 liters of water per day, minimum! My acid reflux was cured simply by drinking enough water)
- Clean air (The air in SE Asia is polluted beyond belief, a few minutes walking can have you wheezing and coughing)
- Clean sunshine (Bangkok is a tropical, sunny climate, but the pollution is so bad it blocks out the sun. I personally tested for low Vitamin D and now supplement it)
Yes, we all know those things are important but until you don't have them you cannot know just how important they are.
Those 4 things can make or break happiness.
So it is my mission in 2016 to live clean and green.
Clean food, clean air, clean water, clean sunshine. As much as money can buy.
Towards the end of 2015 I spent some time in America and loved the cleanliness, the fresh air, the cool breeze.
But, to save 30K in taxes, I came back to Asia to spend 3 months until the start of the new year.
To be perfectly honest, that 3 months felt like a prison sentence. It was like doing time until I could go back to the green life.
Thailand is a lovely place, but the pollution is unbearable. There is no green life in big city Bangkok, it's more like brown life.
So I have decided to get rid of all of my possessions (yet again) and, for lack of a better term, walk the earth and live the green life.
I'm going to spend a good deal of my time on the beach or in the mountains, exercising in the open air and letting my body and mind heal after years of damage.
What I'm most looking forward to in 2016 is:
- Waking up at dawn and catching the sunrise on the beach while doing some stretching and cardiovascular exercise.
- Catching a cool mountain breeze on a cool, misty morning while drinking a cup of strong Red Coffee.
- Building RED Supplements (The purpose of RED is to create supplements that actually work. Many supplements are junk trash and exist to take money from gullible people. Our supplements work.)
- Creating many videos for the B&D; YouTube channel (I will be filming my travels and you can all see the journey in real time).
There it is in black and white, my no-nonsense goals for 2016. Those are the very simple things that motivate me.
Green and clean.
But still mean.
Until next time.
Your man,
-Victor Pride
PS - I don't pay attention to the news or current events. The only “news” I will pay attention to in 2016 is the presidential election. And I'll make a promise right now…
If Donald Trump wins the Presidency, I will have a Bold & Determined BBQ in Los Angeles, California. Each and every B&D; reader will be invited. See you then.

Awesome article, Vic!
Thanks Bud.
If you are still interested in developing your business in Russia, i am always ready to help.
30 days of discipline is already on the top of reading list among my friends and partners among different cities)
Wish you tons of cash and tremendous success in the New Year!
Vic, do you still take modafinal? If so, is it regular use, or sporadically - cheers.
Not typically, no. I will on occasion if I feel necessary.
I cannot emphasize enough how important water is. I always drank water and thought I was getting enough, but it wasn’t until I doubled my intake (getting real close to 3 liters actually) that I noticed how much energy I had — and how less hungry I was, because my brain was confusing the thirst for hunger.
My back feels a lot better when I make a conscious effort to keep proper posture even at a computer. When I build my next desk I think I’ll build a standing desk customized to my needs for proper posture. If I need to sit, I’ll get a tall stool.
A tall stool was a VERY BIG help to me. Made a huge difference.
A standing desk does wonders. I made one for my office out of cardboard boxes. It lasted about a year before my boss finally bought me an actual standing desk setup. I say the biggest thing to look for is one that puts the keyboard low. Mine is high and is problematic for my wrists.
I did something similar; I had an adjustable metal “bookshelf” at work and I removed a shelf, put my monitor on it, and used it as a standing desk until we got a few of the ones at work that rise/lower on demand. At home I still have my (decade old) desk, though. I’m going to make replacing it a project so I can learn more carpentry/furniture assembly stuff.
I have a standing desk at home and at work; man what a difference. I feel like I can think more clearly and I feel better when I stand. I really hate sitting still and like to pace around when I think, so its perfect!
Thanks for the tips Jacob.
Coffee is my water lol.
Then you’re very dehydrated.
I drink coffee, too (black, no sugar or cream). But man what a difference it makes when I drink pure water too.
Your urine should be approaching clear at least sometime during the day. Otherwise you aren’t flushing everything out your body wants to expel.
Glad to hear you will be enjoying life in 2016.
I look forward to you filming more videos, I know they will be great.
2016 will be a great year for everyone who Takes Action.
Regards,
Dylan Madden
Thanks Dylan.
Livin’ green and Trump 2016. A perfect combination!
Thanks Victor, I’ve been fighting high estrogen and low Vitamin D (supplementing with organic stuff) for a while. Almost all my household products are organic. I filter my air, water, and sometimes I feel like a meat eating vegan BUT…I can FEEL the difference. I feel physically ill drinking tap water or not drinking enough water. I’ve been doing all this and taking Wim Hof’s 10 week course; I’ve never felt better.
When you eat clean and green you can really feel EVERYTHING you eat. When you stuff yourself like average people you’re too stimmed out to feel anything. When you take all the nasty shit out, you feel it when it goes in.
I can feel everything: water, food, protein/carb/fat, air, smog, I can feel each individually.
This is 100%, totally true.
When you clean up your diet and lifestyle it becomes apparent how sensitive you are to everything that you eat and surround yourself with.
It’s funny that you came up with this list Victor. I was thinking the other day about the things that I need to live a good life, they were:
1. Clean air
2. Sunshine
3. A good, long walk everyday
4. A clean diet
5. A solid goal I can work towards everyday
These are my requirements. Not stopping until I get them.
Great article as always Vic! Have a great year and I hope we’ll get that BBQ!
Thanks Bo.
You better believe if you have a Bold and Determined BBQ in LA I will be there!
Glad to hear your heading the beautiful beaches and mountains this year Vic, sounds a lot better than Bangkok.
According to the non published polls, Vic’s BBQ has good chance of happening.
I really hope so and I’m not even a US citizen. If that Hillary c**t gets in…… bad times.
The secret service don’t call her “Broomstick One” for nothin.
Polls are looking good. Just don’t look at the so-called “National polls” (ex. Trump vs. Hillary) as they’re meaningless in the US system and are made just to hype a candidate over another.
I have my backup paradise planned if Hilary gets elected.
Impossible, the Universe will go to hell if “she” gets elected.
Certainly not impossible.
Good luck in 2016 Vic, I can’t wait for more videos!
You inspired me to get into YouTube with your post about doing a video a day, and I’m still goin strong and having a ton of fun!
I’m kicking myself for not starting earlier, like wtf!? Should have been doing this shit in 2007, I had all the tools!
Whatever, no time like the present I guess.
Me too, but there’s no better time to start than right now.
Yo Vic,
This article took the words out of my mouth. I agree and actually never saw this coming when I moved out here to live and travel… SE Asia air is pitiful.
I am really fiending for good, organic food. I’m fiending for clean air and a consistent day of intermittent exercise, lifting, BJJ, cooking and standing desk work to maintain and grow my businesses. Working in a chair all damn day takes it out of you and not in a good way.
Awesome to see your transition; enjoy it boss.
Now is the first time I’ve got consistent money coming from my E-commerce ventures, and I’m considering my options. I will soon visit the states for a quick victory lap and see where my mind is.
Just curious, you gonna stay with your lady or is this the start of a new chapter?
Thanks a lot brother man
- Evan
“Thankfully, though, I am in a position where I can any issues from sitting and typing.”
Appears you are missing a word in this sentence.
Fixed, thanks.
Great article Victor. I admire your self-awareness. A constantly evolving badass.
Just a heads up on a typo - in the sentence “Thankfully, though, I am in a position where I can any issues from sitting and typing”, I believe you missed out the word avoid/eliminate.
Looking forward to watching all your videos throughout the year.
All the best,
Henry
Fixed, thanks.
“Catching a cool mountain breeze on a cool, misty morning while drinking a cup of strong Red Coffee.”
…Sounds like the perfect way to start your morning.
It’s always been a goal/desire of mine to spend a year living in a house in the woods to see how much better I’d feel. One of those lake houses that are peaceful and quiet. No sounds of cars honking in the morning, no people talking, and no distractions. Just peaceful surroundings and clean fresh air.
Looking forward to hearing about your experience. Best of luck.
-Alex
Thanks Alex.
Great article. Small Typo - Thankfully, though, I am in a position where I can …….. any issues from sitting and typing. Keep up the great work, very inspiring.
The last part, about Donald Trump…
I’ll see you there Vic!
See you there Johnathan.
I am not trying to spam this site but I have to tell you this water Filter (made in the USA) is easily the best I have ever had.
I also bought the athlete version for when I’m on the move.
Magnificent in every sense.
They also do a shower head filter which I’m told is very good too
http://www.clearlyfiltered.com/collections/filtered-pitcher/products/clean-water-pitcher
http://www.clearlyfiltered.com/collections/filtered-bottles
Roll on the Trumpening
Best regards Vic
Thanks Seamus.
I do not know anything about that product but I used to be in the water industry. There is so much crap. You can get filters that remove most chemicals and half of the chlorine. The only way I know to get out all the chlorine and fluoride is a reverse osmosis system. I have a rainwater tank now and when I am back in the city the water there tastes like pool water.
See you in LA V
See you there.
Got a natural bamboo standing desk which has done wonders for my legs back and shoulders.
Vic,
Two things I wanted to say.
1) I just stumbled upon your site about a month ago, and I have plans in 3 years time to move to Thailand.
But not Bangkok. I came to the conclusion I don’t want to live in the PNW due to the lack of sunshine, and have a friend who lives in Thailand. She’s been very happy.
2) You have a typo in your article:
“One of the nasty drawbacks to working online is you have to sit in FRONT of the computer for hours at a time.”
I am not a grammar Nazi by any means, and not busting your balls. I am kind of like rain man with words and it stuck out.
Happy hunting.
Thanks Rob.
Great artile Vic. Voting for Trump!
Thanks Tony.
If Trump will win the election, the world will be at dawn more than ever.
Trump already won. He can only lose at this point.
So true about the drink more water part. I drink about a galloon a day and its actually quite easy. I drink more though because a galloon isn’t enough now but I don’t try to overdo it. Also vic I started going to the gym and going to the gym HARD but I feel pretty tired / burnt out. I’m an ectomorph going 3 times a week, training hard, and eating 6 meals a day. Any recovery tips?
That’s good!
When I moved to the US I was SHOCKED (literal) to see how many sodas are regurgitated every day, especially by children. No wonder people here are always depressed, I think that 90% of the population is dehydrated.
I mainly drink coffee and water. A beer or a glass of wine now and then. I actually decided to never drink beer at home, and never at a restaurant; plus I never drink if I have to drive. The only time I might drink a beer is when I am invited at a private party and I am not the designated driver.
regurgitated?
Vendetta lol, kinda in reference to “The Fly” and the decadent Roman Empire’s habit of eating, vomiting and again eating.
They drink gallons of that stuff since they’re 6 months old.
I’m the same. If I drink, I drink only at home. NEVER drunk in public. Usually never drunk period. Never drive after drinking, too much too lose. I have found that if I drink enough water and eat enough clean food I have ZERO craving for any alcohol.
When I cut away soda from my diet long time ago, I easily lost a lot of weight just from that. Soda does pack a lot of weight and unnecessary sugar and calories to your body.
No Soda + Low Carb + BJJ = Lost a lot of weight in few month (for me). Obvious effect was when I noticed I didn’t have that triple chin.
What’s your diet like?
My diet? Well breakfast I have eggs and bacon, a big meal, and than I usually eat two meals of potatoes and beef and some salad or avocados and than the last two I eat two meals of white rice and some other meat I forgot the name cause its new. So I eat 5 big ones but the last one is like almonds or some other snack. But I think I’m tired because it might be that I added a new routine and I don’t really get much sleep. I wake up 5am early and sometimes I don’t get enough sleep. Plus I do heavy compound movements and since I’m skinny its taxing on my body. I believe that could be it?
You already know what the problem is, lack of sleep. Go to sleep earlier.
Yeah I get 8 hours but I still feel tired and fatigued the day after lifting but it got better since I started eating more. Definitely will try sleeping 9-10 hours, appreciate it vic, take care.
Roman, there are a few apps that track your sleeping patterns. You might be waking up during the wrong phase of the sleeping cycle. Try one of them for a couple of weeks and see if it improves your sleep.
Good article!
I suffer from Wanderlust so I can easily relate to the desire of travel and keep moving…
I wanted to thank you once more for your blog. You might remember what I am working on. I have been contacted by the campaign director of one of the top three leading Presidential candidate (I will not identify the candidate here), as he/she wants my help (the director, not the candidate) for some stuff. It’s a big step considering that I moved my first steps in the field less than a year ago, it makes me appreciate how important credibility is even more.
If I end up in the White House I expect you to come pay a visit!
Nice work EA!
I sincerely hope to see you at the BBQ. Got back from San Fran a month ago and I’m ready to go back to California already.
Me too Mackman.
Victor -
I’m excited for your YouTube travel videos-!
Do you ever plan on going (or have been) to Chiang Mai’s sticky rock waterfalls (called Bua Tong) in Thailand?
I’ve read that you can effortlessly climb straight up the waterfall because of a sticky mineral deposit on the surface of the rocks.
I’ve always wanted to see those!
Good post, too -
- Mike Chagares
:-)
I’ve been to CM but not to the waterfalls. If I ever go there again I’ll check it out.
The sticky waterfalls are a crazy phenomenon!
You can stand straight up and walk up them and it’s super easy, it’s insane!
It’s less that they are sticky and more like sandpaper or just firm rocks as if no water was running over them!
Travel safe my friend! Have a great clean and green year and stop by Hellas!
Vic,
I found your website recently and have really been impressed by what you’ve got to offer.
I’m curious if you’re anti-gay. I’m not suggesting you have to be pro gay, but rather that you think gay dudes are some how inferior. Seems like a few times you make disparaging comments about gay people. C’mon, man. People are looking up to you.
The thing I don’t like about gays like you Matt is that you can never shut up about being gay. You can enjoy being buttfucked all you like but I’m not going to celebrate your perversion. Answer your question? Great!
Laughed my ass off, dead-on Vic.
Matt, I’m a woman. I’ve been following Uncle Vic’s site for years. I don’t want this site watered down to cater to my sensitive girl ears. You shouldn’t either. When Vic says something I don’t like I shrug and know at least he’s telling the truth as he sees it. The truth is a rare and precious treasure and often not pretty Muzzling people means dilution of the truth. I want the truth, Matt. So, let it go.
”I’m a woman”
Why did you feel the need to say that you were a woman before writing the rest of your comment, what difference does it make? Does it make your comment more relevant and meaningful ? When I saw that I thought that the rest of what you were about to say would be silly… and it sure was.
When Victor says something you don’t like you shrug and get over it because you like Victor for he speaks the truth. But what you don’t understand is that the things you don’t like to hear are still the truth. You come here to get the truth but you shrug and ignore it when the truth hurt feelings.
If something hurts your poor little feelings it doesnt mean it is not the truth.
That will be an outstanding barbecue!
Indeed!
It’s easy in the land of plenty and plenty-regulated to take it all for granted; clean air, good food, clean water, and sunshine.
I drank soda instead of water and was severely dehydrated for years.
Lost a salivary gland to a stone the size of a grape.
I’m 54yo.
My life is a living example of..
Better later than never.
For you young guns out there…
BETTER NEVER LATE.
Whatever your problem is now..
Fix it.
RIGHT NOW.
Before it becomes dehydration, diabetes, blood clots, tinnitus…
You’d rather go to the gym, eat clean, drink enough water, than not.
Trust me: I know.
My man - at what age would you suggest having children? (if ever) - thanks.
When you make enough money to support a wife who will stay home and raise your children, AND you make enough money to support the children, AND you’ve followed Victor Pride’s guidelines for Finding the Right Wife; you’re old enough.
GreyWolf knows.
The best thing I have done (i do sometimes 10 hours at a CPU - video editing, writing, building my own sites etc) is getting a stand up desk. I train BJJ 3-4 times a week and strength train 3 times a week. Extremely active in great shape. BUT when we sit we make our hip flexors short, and really do a number on the T-Spine. Plus we wind up compensating for short hip flexors with an anterior pelvic tilt.
4 things have made my body SO SO much better in 6 months and I encourage you to try these if you aren’t already.
1) do band shoulder dislocations every morning (lightest band you can find) 3 sets of 10 years. then do 3 sets of band pull aparts.
2) Do glute bridges every single morning 3 sets of 10 with one foot (switch) planks right after) People think we need to stretch our hips ( i film a lot of NFL and UFC coaches. stretching isn’t cutting it, we need to strengthen the glutes, the intercostals, and the periformis and Psaos muscle to pull the pelvis back right
3) wear zero drop shoes / sneakers or go barefoot as much as possible (this rotates the ankle back to the correct position that modern day shoes have us out of
4) sleep on your back without a pillow. Our ancestors would sleep on their backs in caves, no pillows, this made their spine really straight and not hunched.
Finally I totally encourage you to grab a stand up desk. Man it has been life changing. PLUS it gives me more focus and energy. I thought I’d get tired but it helps my body a lot and I am beat to shit from training so many years. Hope this helps bro!!
Great tips Christopher. Personally I cannot sleep on my back, I start snoring instantly and wake myself up. Have to sleep on my sides with a pillow between my legs and a pillow under my arm for support.
ya me too, my PT told me at least start on your back for a good 20 minutes that will reset the T spine straight. Then when you about to pass out roll over. He told me to grab one of these and they really help.
Problem with guys who train. Is we have big wide shoulders and big traps which usually puts the shoulder back into a slouch when we roll. This has a notch for the shoulder and trap. I use a pillow between my knees as well. I try to sleep on my back but i usually wake up on my side.
http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/u-sleep-side-and-back-sleeper-pillow/1043791972?skuId=43791972&mcid=PS_googlepla_nonbrand_bedding_&adpos=1o8&creative=43742631709&device=c&matchtype=&network=g&gclid=CK29trW4mcoCFcUXHwod2uMPeA
Christopher, do not forget your abs. I have found hanging leg raises to be great. Sitting down in a chair we have back support and our abs are not holding us up straight so they become weak.
Excellent article Vic!
I highly recommend that you look into Pete Egoscue’s clinic and books (egoscue.com). He is the world expert in helping people get out of pain and regain their body’s functionality and mobility. The exercises are hard but they will give you your body back.
I look forward to that BBQ in California!
I believe I have the egoscue method book on my kindle, will have to read it soon. Thanks James.
Great article Vic. I hope Trump wins both to have the privilege to attend the B&D BBQ and to see America regaining its greatness. I’m not American but I’ve been there many times and I root for its ideals. Cheers!
Matias - how did you put an avatar image next to your name here? Thanks.
Gravatar.com
My man! Thanks Matias.
Looking forward for those trips, really refreshing and motivational article. Also if I was American I’d vote for Trump too and attend that barbecue.. I’m from Europe though ahaha
Thanks David.
Great post Vic. I’ll see you at the BBQ in LA!
See you there!
I can relate.
When I used to work as auto mechanic long time ago, I kind of envied the men who wore suits and worked in office because it look like a high status to me. When I finally landed that “office” job and I was able to wear and look “professional” with dress shirts and tie. First day in office cubicle and it felt like hell. Glad those days are over.
Pollution in Asia are so bad that stuff like this happens.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/china/12051354/Chinese-buy-up-bottles-of-fresh-air-from-Canada.html
Someone is making money off of this. Huge population in China.
They make a lot of money. Chinese care about money #1, way more than they care about health. They’ll sit in a dark room instead of turning on lights and paying more on the electric bill.
I am a deskbound designer and had multiple issues resulting from years of neglect!
Nearly a year to the day, January 4th 2015, I purchased your ’30 days of Discipline’ in an attempt to kick start something! I now hit the gym 4 days a week and have done regularly for about 7 months. My fitness, strength, body shape and general health has drastically improved. Thanks for the kick up the ass!
Your recent post ‘Live Clean and Green in 2016’ hits on my new goals of eating better, getting out and enjoying life. Looking forward to your posts.
Keep the inspiration coming.
Kevin
My man! Thanks Kevin.
best part was If Donald Trump wins the Presidency, I will have a Bold & Determined BBQ in Los Angeles, California. Each and every B&D reader will be invited. See you then.
Dont want to start an arguments here with anyone but as US presidential election effects many nations i feel now its time to get a president who can save this country and is not politically correct.
I will suggest you also go to the Caribbean Island with clean air and clean beaches as well!!! It is less populated and it’s got low pollution compared to SE Asia. Thanks for this write up bro. I will definitely live clean and green this year. Cheers Vic!!!
Actually I’ve been watching Caribbean cooking shows on youtube, I think they do a lot of things right and I’ll probably go down there at some point.
Another great article brother.Good stuff, glad to hear. Donald Trump is going to win and Conor McGregor is going to be the future of UFC mark my words!
Thanks Scooter.
I was reading, “the mastery”, and somewhere in it, I read that it is just shameful to live a life that you hate, in order to live a life that you wish to live. Those may not be the exact words, but the meaning is same..
The first line of your post is indeed true. That’s not how life is supposed to be lived.
Leonardo Da Vinci said it correct, ” As a well-spent day brings happy sleep, so a life well spent brings happy death”.
Thanks for a great post, Vic, good luck with your new endeavour.
Thanks Ayush.
Hope to see you a that BBQ :D TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP
Me too!
Great post Victor. Have similar goals myself in 2016. Have you heard of Wim Hof (Mike at D&P posted about him recently)? Some great stuff about getting in touch with our spirits and nature, a real inspiration.
Anyway, I’ll see you in LA this November when President Trump gets elected!
Yes, I’ll probably look into his course later. There is no water cold enough where I am currently to do immersion therapy.
Looking forward very much to the videos!
I am going to step up the green juices and go spend some serious time out in the Welsh and Scottish mountains this year, namely to train and get away from the noise and drama.
My day job now has me on 3 x 12 hour night shifts so I get 4 days each week to play with, so no excuses!
Keep up the great job big wolf!!
And same for, Mike C, Chris at GLL and Nate at InT.
Much love
Matt
Thanks Matt.
Hey Victor, I found these for you!
“Unlike most people who work in an office and let their body “deteriorate” NOT degenerate the point of no return, I am free to do as I please.”
“One of the nasty drawbacks to working online is you have to sit in ” FRONT”of the computer for hours at a time.”
Awesome choice. Keep us posted on the places you are gonna settle in! Give us more food for thought and potential future homes. By the way why did you decide to live in Bangkok in the first place? I think there are more “livable” places in SE Asia.
That Donald Trump line! I will buy a plane ticket just for it.
I love how you have evolved Victor. A nice change in my opinion, nothing wrong with a green, clean lifestyle :)
Green Mountains and Beaches sounds like Costa Rica to me
I look forward to the BBQ. Since it will be in LA, I am sure the GLL will be there. It would be cool to meet ya’ll.
Sawadeekap!
I found BKK unbearable to be honest. Dirty, polluted, crowded, and I could go on and on.
Why not relocate to Phuket? Civilized. Cheap. Clean. And with Western amenities. You will meet with other Western locals with the same mindset as you (AKA: no socialists or statists).
BTW: I lived and worked in Thailand for 3 years.
Also, take a trip and check out Tallin, Estonia, if you have the inclination. I am not well read in the subject, but I do come across a lot of info on how the Tallin government wants to make it easy for Entreprenuers to set up shop there. Depending on your goals, it might be worth checking it out. Tallin I found to be civilized, clean, and many would say very business friendly (unlike the socialist haven the USS of A has become; thank you Republicrats).
The Donald? A fucking racist and a crony Wall Streeter who will finish the (undoing of America) job Obama started. I just wish a true Constitutionalist would come to the forefront. I do hate the fact that I agree with most of what he says, though.
The establishment is going to throw every curveball they can at Trump. Expect something fishy to happen at the Republican Delegation. If he survives that and becomes the nominee, he’ll crush Hillary.
If the process is done as I am told, the investigation phase will end in about 45 days and Clinton will be indicted. At that point, she won’t be able to run for president.
The latest batch of emails is quite compromising.
“A lot of people work their entire lives so they can retire to the beach or to the mountains.”
True words.
I’m looking forward to see what you put out this year.
Good stuff Vic. I do too much at the computer as well. Thought you might want to fix this:
“One of the nasty drawbacks to working online is you have to sit in FROM (front?) of the computer for hours at a time.”
Later bro
you used to have that asshole vibe around your articles. Happy to see you becoming a lil bit gentle.Great article but i wonder if i can make it to LA since i live in canada. I really hope you can do something here man.
Still mean, fella. Scout’s honor.
”When you live in a tunnel, you see only the light at the end. Nothing else matters. Now I live in the sunshine and I can see all”
Victor do you believe that a fella like me who is still in the tunnel should focus only on the light ahead and ignore everything else?
Have you read B&D? The answer to that question is obvious.
FUCK IT MAN of course the answer is yes. What the hell was i thinking. The pressure is at all time high man and i just needed a word of guidance.
Victor Pride, You have enormous amount of patience for answering all these questions. If I was in your position, I probably go insane reading all the obvious questions. Props to you.
Part of the game.
Tigerbate,
Assuming your area snows time to time, wake up at 4 AM, dip yourself or shower yourself in cold water, get bare naked, run 1 hour in snow, jog and carry 80 lb sandbag on your shoulder while running/jogging for 1 hour and then come back and tell us about your “need of guidance”.
is your name victor pride?
Good luck with your health goals Vic!
I also look forward to Donald Trump’s victory btw! ;) Would love to be at your barbecue! :D
-Shyam M
Love to have you.
I relate to you much more now, than your first writings. Your older posts showed little emotion besides hunger. The old vic seems like the kind of guy that would point and laugh at pussies complaining about pollution. Obviously you have more ads than old times, who wouldn’t? Thats how your able to live the life you want. Even with more ads, your posts seem much more aunthentic. My buddy (who initally showed me B&D) actually gave up B&D for awhile saying “Vic just seems too emotionless and robotic”..he’s coming back around these days and I just sent him a text saying to check this post out.
So Los Angeles was your choice..I hope it suits you well. I’ll be at the BBQ if Trump wins.
When you live in a tunnel, you see only the light at the end. Nothing else matters. Now I live in the sunshine and I can see all.
His old post has a lot of inspirational and informational guidance; NO bs and straight up. It’s enough. Look at his lifestyle now.
A lot of people are waiting to be pumped up which isn’t so bad thing from perspective of a businessman who can make an uprising post and inspire many young folks who are lost.
After all, sales is about transfer of emotions.
You don’t need constant motivation bro. Just take the leap. Have a purpose in life; read one of his post on
https://boldanddeterminedarchive.com/why-you-should-be-a-builder/
If you are busy building then you wouldn’t even have the need for “motivation”. Motivations are for the weak. Read about how he got out of the 9 to 5 grid. He tells exactly what he did to get out of the grid (Hint: REI)..?? lol. He already gave you the answer; look around.
Strong people don’t need motivation. They do it from self-believe.
His old posts are great and his news posts are just as great. Look at the man and see how he lives. You can do the same; just have the self-believe.
I make 160k per year with a business I built from absolutely nothing. I have a wife and kids. I don’t need motivation for anything.
You sound like a wanna-be victor with about 1/8 of his brain.
Average Joe,
Why do you think that I’m “wanna-be” victor?
Wanna-be Victor, this is my last response…”bro”
“You don’t need constant motivation bro, just take the leap. Have a purpose in life.”
Are you trying to give somebody advice here? And if so, who? I didn’t notice anybody seeking advice.
Then you went on to say motivation is for the weak and if your busy building, you wont need motivation.
Funny you’d mention “building” because thats exactly what I do. I build custom homes. This coming July will mark 14 years of owning my company.
Your obsessed with mentioning motivation and declaring what kind of people need motivation. And that your not one of those people.
Your similar to the teenage girl obsessed with drama, yet all she talks about is how she hates drama.
Best of luck little wanna-be boy. Your gonna need it.
Great Article VIc, There is anything closer to heaven than San Pancho, Mexico and Snowboarding in the Mountains via CO or wherever you may choose. Have a great year!
isn’t*
Thanks Craig.
Really hoping that Sir Donald Trump will get elected…he’s really our only hope. If the Sea Hag (credit goes to the incomparable RamzPaul) gets elected, America won’t be habitable any longer for a straight male.
If Trump doesn’t win, where do you plan to stay? I’m trying to make some backup plans. Hungary? Maybe, Orban is a total champion. Russia’s too old. Nothing matches LA…if only there were a place like it outside the US!
Nah, just prepare for the BBQ.
Clinton will be indicted, Cruz (I like him) will have the Canadian birth and citizenship issue following him to his grave. It’s only to Trump to lose; it’s important that he learns the convention mechanism.
No need to live: get into local politics, which is the most important level of US politics.
*No need to leave
I’ll be on a villa on an island in Spain if that happens.
sounds better than LA
victor I notice you said you have lower back problems from stationary work, I had a cortisone injection done and it helped my back problems. Maybe you should start doing a stretching regimen and implement that on your site as well to fix your hamstrings and shoulders
Learn to cook your own food. Not how to feed yourself. To really cook. Best advice you got today :D
Thanx and Happy New Year
I am 17 years old (turning 18 in February) and considering a career in real estate. A real estate agent told me that he leased a nice car to help him make money. How important is a nice car, will it have a significant ROI? also, Will my young age be a problem? I could learn a trade and/or make money online instead.
Please share any thoughts.
P.S. to reduce eyestrain that can cause long term vision problems I use two free software.

Sounds good man. Where are you moving base to now, east coast America?
Here’s to a happy and productive 2016!
As a side note, the first thing i’m going to sort out when the bucks start rolling in is Active Release Therapy to unfuck up my back from bad posture, and slouching so much in the UK [shitty workers, women, weather]
Hey Vic,
great article again, I resonate strongly with a lot of the things you said in your video, i commented a while back on how I had made £700 in a month or something, now i’ve been doing my online sports trading gig for a full year and have netted £17,500 untaxable income. Not the biggest amount in the world but not bad considering i am in my final year of university and have been juggling both at the same time, there is no such thing as a get rich quick, anything worth its salt takes time and consistency like I said, my friends ask me why i make more than they do and its simply because I do what I do every single day, day in day out and it adds up over time. Because of my new level of financial security i’m going to take a year off in between my studies and was thinking of going to Japan or south Korea to visit Asia briefly, have you been to either and what did you think?
Also have you read Alan watts autobiography? emphasizes that living life in YOUR way is the most important thing, you would like it if you have not already read it
keep it up I love it, peace
Glenn
Hello mate,
I’m also in the UK, final year Uni student also. Can you tell me a bit about your online sports gig mate? As a fellow student, I need all the cash I can get.
Cheers,
Farooq
See, when I try to drink a lot of water I be one extremely full and feel like I’m forcing it down. It’s dreadful.
Wow, that sounds like the dream right there. Whenever I see mountains I get shivers down my back. They are intensely spiritual places. When I lived in Africa, I would often walk up a local mountain to pray and meditate on my days off. I hope you find healing, rest and success in your new home.
Hey Victor what is your personal view about religion, are you atheist or do belive in god or something unnatural-buddist like etc? sory for my grammar and thank for your marvelous work in changing men life :)
This is funny. I read Donald Trump’s book “How to Get Rich” many years ago and some of the things he said in the book I thought several times I was reading it again here at B & D. I remember for example he saying how someone without an ego was automatically a loser, things like that. And what a non-surprise we will have a B&D BBQ in LA to celebrate. Victor, you could try to contact Trump and have him finance the event… :-D
Donald Trump is a good businessman, good salesman and good public speaker. He resonates with a lot of Americans and he is a mouthpiece for a lot of Americans (who are afraid of speaking their real mind from years of political correctness and in fear of losing their job due to speaking their mind for fear of being racist, bigot, etc…)
Donald Trump is a good mouthpiece for a lot of Americans who can resonate with Trump. Donald Trump knows how to move emotions and how to connect with the crowd. Trump is brilliant. Would you trust him?
Could a powerless trust powerful? After all, with humans there is “HOPE”.
HOPE… hope.
Once he’s elected, you shouldn’t trust him. An elected president is to be held accountable for each move he makes.
His aides should trust him, not the citizens. That’s why there is a constitution, because you shouldn’t trust no one with governing powers.
”someone without an ego was automatically a loser”
That’s why I hate it when some dude on some random copycat manosphere blog say things like you have to eleminate ego or you become a winner when you don’t give a fuck about the outcome. Sounds fucking loser. If I want to succeed I want to succeed, I care about the outcome. Not giving a fuck is only good with women.
LOL, Can’t wait until that BBQ, I’ll bring the Steak, and BBQ sauce! Great Article,
What Percentage chance do you think Trump has of winning the election?
I’m on your side, Victor.
Could you not remember, but back in 2012, a brazilian man was in the featured comments, stating his skinny-fat cure by ground beef, oilve oil shots, eggs, kale + pineapple juices and fresh sun.
It was 30 Days of Discipline (and intermittent fasting) that gave me the power to sse what i was capable of.
From Spartan Entrepreneur to Adsense Niche sites, Affiliate Marketing etc, i made money.
Have a beautiful wife and daughter and a boy. Life never was so good, despite the political situation here in Brazil.
Long time i stopped to blame the Gov, the parents ande the others and put the blame on me for not doing or finishing things. Best thing i did.
A strong handshake, my brother.
Victor, This is a great video and article. You are an inspiration. I just need to keep pushing to get away from my 9-5 BS job. All the best with your clean and green year.
Vic, awesome article! I have one question not directly related to the article. What do you think about Dale Carnegie’s book “How To Win Friends And Influence People”? Do you think it is relevant nowadays? I am reading it right now and have controversial thoughts. I believe, that being so friendly and so opened in todays world is dangerous. At least, constant satisfaction of other people’s needs will leave a person with nothing. Typical “nice guy” sindrome.
Vic, please, do not ignore this question. It is really important to me.
Good book, the principles still apply today. I prefer Carnegie’s How to Stop Worrying and Start Living, an overlooked masterpiece.
Thank you for your answer, Vic! I will read this book soon.
They’re both great books.
Another book that MUST be read is Viktor Frankl “Man’s search for meaning.”
Thanks for tha advice! I will add this book to my reading list.
Easy. Be kind to people, but if they think you are weak because of that and then try to use you, show them that nobody walks on you and come off as mean as you want. who cares then, THEY are the assholes who try to fuck you.
Awesome article, man. You are a real motivation/inspiration. And on behalf of the bold and determined men of earth, I tell you a big THANK YOU.
Hey Victor,
What would you suggest to be the best source of fresh water available?
I was thinking about buying a water filter and filtering the tap water. Do you think this would be the absolute best choice? Or is it something else?
Have a happy new year too!
I really don’t know what the best choice is short of having your own well. I hear reverse osmosis filtered is good, personally I enjoy bottled mineral water.
Thanks!
Good Post as always Vic.
Why would you want Donald Trump to win? I hardly know anything about politics and am not american, but can you or someone else list a few reasons why you want the guy to win? Curious.
because he’s far from the establishment.
What will he do for your country? Explain.
victor pride I’m a Nigerian but i also have my support and concern about the presidential elections. To be honest among the whole contestant Trump is the most intelligent but i don’t his view especially on the black nation.
Because he is sending a message to Americans not to believe or support the African dream. where by lots of talent that could help in the world growth are dying in here Africa so i personally i am an African and I’m proud to say we need support from one of or the most successful nation in the world especially by securing there economy.
I just 21+ so this is my view and knowledge so far in the world politics so far and i can tell every B&D readers that why it seems like america are top of the Russians is because america give rooms to the Africans so let HIS EXCELLENCY Donald Trump consider this and not be too strict to the blacks.
Reason why you should with me we blacks we are hardly deceived be cause of our strong culture , for example hardly will you hear that a black took gun and start shooting innocent children or carry bomb and blew up the public in the U.S.A .
So finally dear Victor Pride judge my case has of the conscious and unconscious mind where by america is the conscious and Africa is unconscious so towards achieving prosperity the conscious mind passing light into the unconscious mind in a state where everything is at equilibrium and super conscious ness is achieved at the END. Garcia’s for your understanding. urs God son Henry.
My success will not be decided by who is sitting in the oval office.
My success is decided by me, and me alone.
I take responsibility for my life and blame no one for my failures.
If another piece of shit, anti-American, God-hating, miscreant, misandrist, malcontent liberal becomes the American President, it will make Victor Pride’s message all the more cogent and sacrosanct.
Lions do not lose sleep over the opinion of sheep.
They can make your life a lot more difficult. Trust me, I live in the most liberal place in North America.
Well, you’re either in New York or California.
I escaped California in my early 30’s.
Never looked back.
And yes, life can be more difficult. We have certainly seen that the last 7 years.
The rich are richer, the poor are poorer, and the middle is in decline.
I’m in the middle, and rising!
No thanks to anyone but myself, hard work, and smart decisions.
This forum is a great tool for us to learn from and feed off of each other in our life, liberty, and our PURSUIT of happiness.
Nothing is guaranteed.
I’m from the Province of Quebec in Canada. Anything there that’s close to being conservative is seen as crazy and weird. God-hating, miscreant, misandrist, malcontent liberal is pretty much normal.
I don’t think that any liberal will get in the Oval Office, unless Joe Biden runs which is a potential game changer.
As I told here a few weeks ago, Hillary is in big trouble and yesterday’s newly released info is potentially the last nail in the coffin. The FBI has put 100 *full time* special agents on her case, and 50 more in part-time support. She now has not one, but TWO commission investigating her, and I am told that FBI’s James Comey is going to refuse any political settlement. I am told that we’re not far from the end of the investigation, which means donors are leaving her.
She’s toast, which means that the DNC will go down with her at least for the foreseeable future. Even after the tentative cover-up the scandal is so big that in my opinion she seriously risks jail-time. I don’t see how she could possibly find a political solution other than hoping for Obama’s pardon (which is unlikely since he hates her, and he won’t ruin his legacy for her).
Unless something shocking pops out, Trump will win hands down.
Very cool plans. I moved to the Rockies a few years ago and never looked back. Still work, but feels like retirement compared to the hustle, bustle and stress of big city living. Taking care of the mind and body is an investment that pays dividends.
Hope you have a great year, thanks for what you’ve done.
You will be throwing a big party in LA. Trump 2016
This was actually the kick in the pants I needed to take better care of myself. Thank you Vic.
Great sir
Nice Vic, eat some clean steak and feel great.
Best piece of advice to give anyone: sunshine, air, fresh food and water. Period!
Aloha, my name is nick, have been living on Maui now almost 4 years. have never had to pay rent or utilities. life is amazing, i feel retired… im just 25. im currently struggleing what to do next, but how do i leave this life that everybody is fighting for? can you shine any light?
ps. come visit maui, a special place called Hana. you will know what im talking about.
Mahalo nui loa
Great article. Stumbled upon this website after finding the B&D youtube channel and I’ve enjoyed the articles on here. Keep it up
Hi Victor,
I would like to know more on how simply drinking water only helped with your acid reflux. I myself am suffering from Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) and have been dependent on medication from doctor.
Drink enough water every day (3 liters) and drink a lot of water before you eat meals. The stomach needs water to digest properly - do not eat meals without water first.
There goes the Trump dream..
Hey Victor, just out of curiosity when did you finally come to the awareness that you were free? and how did it make you feel? thanks! -Scooter
Don Vic, i’m planning to go to live to San Diego… i’m not interested in LA after daily watching the air quality report… that place is not clean. Do you know about San Diego?. You said you were in USA and enjoyed the cleanliness and fresh air… but in southern California it’s not the best to find it… even the water is not that super clean. I can understand you said that if you are comparing SE Asia to LA, but still. I know San Diego is cr4p if you don’t have a Car and that’s why they have not that good air plus they have problems with water quality, LA is even worse. San Francisco is good but highly overrated, more crime and unjustifiable very expensive (i would rather pay New York for what that city can give me back).
I would love if you can provide some insight. warm regards
And New York City has some of the BEST tap water of the entire planet! And crime is not that high comparing to SF… very impressive regarding the size.
Dan, I’ve never been to San Diego but it’s on my agenda. I will take a road trip and stay for one month when the weather is beach friendly. LA is a clean paradise compared to Asia.
What do you mean by “If Donald Trump wins the Presidency, I will have a Bold & Determined BBQ in Los Angeles, California. Each and every B&D reader will be invited. See you then.”?
You must be severely retarded if you don’t understand those words.
ummmm no I’m not, and “those words” are very vague.
Sorry you just lost a reader.
Hi Vic
Awesome post, it’s made me look at my location differently so thankyou.
The Donald trump BBQ, ive interpreted that (and correct me if I’m wrong) you want him to win the election?
If that’s the case, could I ask why?
haha that’s cool vic- i’ll be at that party :)
Been waiting for this day for a while. When and where is the BBQ? I’ll bring the ribs.
