Is your stuffy job worth it?
Working 50 hours a week with people you hate just so you can make someone else rich?
Are your two cars and the two car payments and the two insurance premiums worth it?
Is your 30 year mortgage worth it? Are your yearly property taxes worth it?
Is your 50 inch flat screen TV with 500 channels of indoctrination worth it?
Is your useless 4 year degree with your insurmountable student loans worth it?
Is it worth going into massive credit card debt just to get the new iPhone?
Is it worth saving for your far-off retirement so you can finally live like you should now?
Is constantly buying useless shit worth the sacrifice you make to work at a shitty job?
Places like this exist.

Hey Vic, can you write a piece about your thoughts regarding doing postgraduate studies? There is a certain amount of freedom and flexibility in becoming a research professor in a specific field. But the idea of me paying people(Educational Institutions) hard earned money for something(Knowledge) that can already be acquired for free is plain stupid and a complete ripoff, because what you’re basically paying for are the (PhD) initials.
You just answered your own question.
Was rereading some old posts, and saw that this one lacks the image it used to have. Sort of kills the impact of your final point (saying places like this exist) when you don’t show the place. Don’t know if other posts lack images yet.
Just like a quote on fight club “the thing you own end up owning you”
Raymond,
I bought Porsche 911 and loved it but it was a hassle always having to watch how people parked near me. It took the fun out of owning a nice car., When I sold it and now see a Porsche drive by, I always think how the car owned me.
This is so true. It’s the tradeoff most people don’t think about.
I’ve read all your articles, really interesting I must confess, I’m a Nigerian by the way
