10 WAYS TO BE A BETTER BAD GUY
1. Be a shameless self-promoter
Pay attention to this beautiful word “shameless.” It's a word that makes dicks hard and pussies wet. Shame is what nice guy pussies feel. Why would you feel shame if you are not a dog? You wouldn't. Nice guys are dogs that get walked all over because they allow shame and if you allow shame you allow yourself to eat shit.
Here is an easy way to never feel shame: Do not do anything that shames you. Problem solved. I hear these ridiculous weaklings say that OTHER PEOPLE make them feel shame. They say things like:
- “He makes me ashamed to be white”
- “He makes me ashamed to be an American”
- “He makes me ashamed of my gender”
Each time someone says these words to you, slap them. They'll not retaliate and they deserve to be bullied. The people who speak like this deserve to get walked on because they are impotent. They'll do absolutely nothing.
2. Be the bully, not the bullied
This weak advice called the golden rule will never see you rise above the man whose will is stronger than yours. If you are nice you are weak willed. To get what you want in this world you must use different tactics. Sometimes finesse works, sometimes you need to be a bully. Bullies always get what they want unless they meet somebody with a stronger will. This is a game of wills. It is my will vs. your will. The nice guy will not take what is his but the bad guy will take it from the nice guy.
“But I HATE bullies!!!” Of course you hate bullies, you're a weakling with a weak will. A bullies will is stronger than your will and they dominate you, obviously you hate them. But what you don't do is stand up to them. If you did, they would cease to bully you and you would become the bully. You can either get bullied or you can become an even bigger bully and bully the bullies.
3. Have the capacity to be cruel
Poor people are some of the nicest people in the world and that should be a real good lesson for you. Cruelty is rewarded in this world and niceness is punished. People who cannot be cruel - pussies - get fucked. It is only people who have the capacity to be cruel that have the ability to stand up for themselves. If you cannot hurt anybody you cannot stand up for yourself. This makes you a doormat. Learning to be a little cruel is an important part of being a bad guy that gets all the good business.
4. Keep up the appearance of atrocity
A lot of power is in the appearance, the reputation. Keep the reputation mean by never being too nice. And if you are nice, make sure it's in a mean way. Be a miser, and never give anything away, including frivolous compliments. Niceness makes you look ridiculous. You cannot afford to look ridiculous because all of the power is in appearance.
5. Keep a closed mouth and deaf ears
Ever heard loose lips, sink ships? Of course you have. Keep your secrets. Businesses are built and fortunes are made on one tiny little secret. If you give away all your secrets you give away all your power. You can give away 90% of your secrets but always keep 10% behind a closed mouth. Tell nobody on earth the remaining 10%. They should be able to figure out the secrets of success with 90% of the information. If they can't, fuck 'em. The masses are morons and if you give them the answer the only thing that will happen is you will look like a fool. Be careful to keep your mouth shut at opportune times. In negotiations, when someone is digging their own grave, don't tell them to stop digging. Motivate them to dig faster.
When it comes to listening there is one piece of advice I have for you: don't. Never listen to anything the naysayers have to say. If you do, it will be your demise. They will always try to talk you out of your success, they will always try to talk you down to their level. If you listen, you lose. The winners in this game are the ones with deaf ears who never hear what they have to say. The hard part about success is not doing the work, it's putting up with the simpletons who nonstop tell you “That's bad! Success is bad! Money is bad! Money is the root of all evil! Love and peace and poverty is what it's all about, man!” If you want success instead of failure the only thing you can respond with is: “Huh? Did you say something?”
6. Don't relate with the poor and the weak
If there's one good word to describe the poor it would be this word: FEAR. The poor are literally AFRAID of almost everything. They are AFRAID of trying, they are AFRAID of making money, they are quite literally afraid of doing almost anything. You can even hear them say “You are trying too hard!” This fear of trying paralyzes them and keeps them stuck in the rut that is poverty.
Above all else, poverty and riches are mindsets. A poor mindset leads to a poor bank account. Rich people have to set aside fear and take chances - they have to actually try. Trying is something that poor people are too afraid to do. You have to spend time with people who take chances rather than spending time with people who are afraid of ghosts and shadows and witches and warlocks.
There is one good reason to mingle with poor people: To learn exactly what not to do. Mingle with the poor and you will learn how positively stupid they are and you will learn exactly why they are poor. Making money is not hard, it is simple and it is easy. If you cannot figure it out maybe, maybe you belong to the poor. If you are too afraid to figure it out, you deserve poverty.
FORTUNE FAVORS THE BOLD! The Bold and Determined man does the exact opposite of the scared and afraid. The poor are stupid and superstitious so you be smart and sensical. Otherwise, don't even bother dealing with the poor unless it is to collect rent money.
7. Break the rules
Listen here: YOU CANNOT GET RICH BY FOLLOWING THE RULES. The rules and religions are there to keep you enslaved. It is up to you to break free from your enslavement. You break free by breaking the rules so follow the law and break the rules. Ever seen a high-powered politician following the rules? Of course not. Yet you still stupidly say “I follow all the rules and I get nothing! Boo-hoo!” You get what you deserve, nothing. Open your eyes and you will be able to see: rules are for fools.
It is against the rules to be politically insensitive but if you follow that rule you are essentially committing suicide. Foolish whites who follow the rules would rather give away their countries than appear racist. Foolish men would rather castrate themselves than appear sexist. You have people who think the American flag is racist, so good boys don't fly the flag. What happens? The country goes bye bye. Follow the rules and you will vanish from this world. You must be racist, sexist, and all of the other “ist” to actually thrive in this world. Anything less is suicidal.
Following the rules leave you weak and vulnerable to people who don't care about your super strong moral code. The point is not to actually do objectively bad things, the point is that what is considered bad often is not. Thou shall not kill is a real nice bedtime story but if someone breaks into your house with a butcher's knife it is kill or be killed. Thou shall not kill will leave you dead or enslaved to those who will. A rule follower is a perfect low-testosterone slave and that is all a rule follower is.
8. Have high testosterone and low estrogen
Sniff*sniff*sniff. Do you smell that? It smells like… estrogen.
In our modern world, estrogen is a killer of what once were men. Steps have to be taken to kill your disgusting estrogen production caused by environmental poisons and by what doctors call general every-day faggotry. Estrogen brings you no good benefits unless you are a born female. If you have a problem with estrogen, use performance enhancers to kill it. Yes, I said use performance enhancers.
What damn fool would be stuck with only the talents god gave him when he can increase his natural talents 10 fold or more? Performance enhancers are hated by the general public for a reason, they work. They work well. Jerkoff Joe stuck at home in Jerkwater, Nebraska hates them because they are a reminder that he could choose not to be a loser. It would be terrible looking in the mirror knowing you are a loser and that it could be changed but. you. just. won't. change.
9. Always offend people
If you don't offend at least a handful of people you are not a very good bad guy. Offending people is one of the keys to success because if you can offend people you can also attract people. The best bad guys are the one who are either loved or hated. The worst is to be lukewarm and tolerated by all. Some of them should hate you and some of them should love you, this is the recipe to make a great bad guy. Like George Bernard Shaw said, the secret to success is to offend the greatest number of people.
10. Create your own morals
Morals are very important but they have to be YOUR morals, not the morals of your enemy. An enemy is anyone who does not want you to do what is in your best interest. Most of the morals you hold so highly were given to you by your enemies. They are foreign, alien morals which serve to demoralize you. Embracing the morals of your enemy makes you a demoralized person, incapable of processing basic factual information and completely lacking common sense.
A demoralized person will fall for anything. Like they say, if you believe in nothing you will fall for anything. And that is exactly what has happened. A demoralized people do not act in their own best interest, they act AGAINST their own best interest. Your morals MUST serve you and your people first and foremost. Anything else is suicidal. Good and evil do exist, but you must not take your advice on what is good from evil people. You have been made to believe that what is self-destructive is good and that self-preservation is bad.
Nature doesn't know anything about good or bad. Nature knows that the weak get eaten by the strong. Who is the bad guy in war? Why, the enemy is the bad guy of course. But who does the enemy think the bad guy is? Why you of course. Dealing drugs is bad but your doctor is a real swell guy. Killing people is a terrible, horrific act of violence unless your government says it's ok, then it's patriotic heroism. On and on.
(Some people may take this to mean that child abuse is neither right or wrong, which is incorrect. Child abuse is always wrong, no matter what, in all cases.)
Bad and good is certainly real, but it is a matter of perspective. Some actually think that erosion of borders and national values is good, whereas some think strong borders and strong national values are good. Who's right? Heres what is good or bad: If it serves you, it's good. If it serves your enemy, it's bad. When you grow up you have to live in the reality of morality, specifically that morality cannot be given to you by people who do not share your values. Everything can be both good and bad at the same time, depending on the perspective. Therefore you must not follow the morals of others, you must create and stick to your own. They should include:
Show No Weakness, Show No Mercy, Be Relentless, Be Remorseless, Be Ruthless, Be Selfish, Be Conceited, Be Greedy, Be Full Of Yourself, Increase Your Ego…
AND ALWAYS GET YOUR REVENGE!
Follow these rules, lest you enjoy being shit on, pissed on, spit on, stepped on, fucked with, and pointed at by lesser men.
The bad guy enjoys all of the benefits this world has to offer. He pays lip service to “good strong morals” and convinces you to do the opposite of what he does, to his great benefit and your great detriment.

Great work. This really makes me think. Just before reading this article I was thinking about all the Greats of the world. Specifically champions like Lance Armstrong and Michael Jordan. Growing up, I thought these were nice guys. As I got older I began to see the savagery they possessed. Totally flipped the scrip in terms of how I perceive leaders and success. Seeing the reality is a beautiful thing. It shows what it takes. Either you’re cut out for it or not. You need the stomach for success. You build up tolerance after a while if you stick to it and never give up.

Nice article as always Vic, but just want to point out that Osho never carried out that attack. In fact he had no knowledge about it. It was his power hungry assistant Ma Ananda Sheela who did it. In fact when he found out about it, he fired her from the ashram. It’s been proven and even written by her own in her own book called ‘Dont kill him’. The guy might have been a conman but he was not a criminal. The only reason he was tricked into being prosecuted was because he was proving to be a threat for the Christian community in Oregon when it came to the political power as elections were soon approaching.

I have just finished reading The Prince by Niccolò Machiavelli and this post serves as an excellent reminder of some of the key lessons in that book, which should be a required reading for all B&D readers. Five of the key lessons that I have taken from that book that also happen to correlate B&D are:
1. “How we live is so different from how we ought to live that he who studies what ought to be done rather than what is done will learn the way to his downfall rather than to his preservation.”
2. “Any man who tries to be good all the time is bound to come to ruin among the great number who are not good. Hence a prince who wants to keep his authority must learn how not to be good, and use that knowledge, or refrain from using it, as necessity requires.”
3. “The vulgar crowd always is taken by appearances, and the world consists chiefly of the vulgar” (It is important to appear good but not weak, even if from within one is not inherently good)
4. “Men ought either to be well treated or crushed, because they can avenge themselves of lighter injuries, of more serious ones they cannot; therefore, the injury that is to be done to a man ought to be of such a kind that one does not stand in fear of revenge.”
5. “Princes must delegate difficult tasks to others and keep popular ones for themselves”
The overall theme of the book and this mindset as Victor explained is not to be bad for the sake of being bad but rather to use the tactics of evil people to defend yourself and bring about your own success. Great post Vic!

I agree with everything in this article.
I will say this: even heroes are bad from the villain’s perspective.
And this: defending from bullies is ok, but it is a fact that bullies get what they want.
I have been the bullied and the bully, and everyone should be both at least once.
And this: dealing drugs may not be good, but pharmacies do just that, only legally.

Thank you again for another great piece of insightful thoughts. I have one correction if i may and it pertains to the quote” thou shall not kill”. As i understand it that quote has been misinterpreted over the centuries and it should really say”thou shall not murder” which is different way of viewing that commandment. Both killing and.murder have the same end result, the death of someone, but.they differ in how its carried out. I can be driving down the road and lose control of my car and “kill” but it was not intentional. On the flip side if i go buy a gun and go into times square and shoot a dude in an elmo costume for no reason then ive committed murder. But a great article none the less. On a side note victor i was reading an article in you archives about weight lifting and you mentioned you dont stretch your muscles at all and are very tight. If i may recommend to you that you indeed should stretch and make it part of your workout regimen, it will help stretch the fascia tissue which is a protective sheath around the muscle and protects the muscle. If you stretch this tissue it can lead to more muscle growth, not that you need it. Ive heard of people who actually had the fascia tissue cut in order to get more gains in muscle size. I think I understand what Vic is saying. Cruelty is the ability to impose one’s will on another.
I am not a cruel guy. My father *can* be a cruel guy.
What i learned from those experiences was that the person willing to do what needs to be done in order to win, wins.
And fit that into however your own moral compass operates.
I don’t like some of what my Dad does, but i did learn lessons from it.
But one thing is for sure, tepid people are punished. Either you get the heck out of the way or you move like a thousand man mongolian army with no concept of retreat or surrender.
I’m learning to be a little cruel, its taking time. I was soft, i was too kind, too guilt ridden and ‘nice’. I thought of girls with rose tinted glasses. I did not understand how to impose my will on a goal, any goal in life.
But this changes today. And will continue to change, until my brain and my braun starts to recognise timidty as a weakness again.

With regards to #3: Perspective. You don’t have to learn to be cruel. All you have to do is change what you perceive to be cruel.
A single experience is all it takes to make that adjustment: A healthy dose of reality.
Take a trip to Africa, spend some time in the bush, hunt some game.
You might think hunting and killing animals is cruel, right?
Well sometimes what we perceive to be cruel is actually not only kind but also a necessity. There s a time and a place for everything. You’ll learn 3 very important things in the wild:
1. A well placed shot through the heart is literally the least bad way an animal can die. It still takes 3-4 minutes before it releases it’s grip on life but that’s way preferable to being torn limb from limb while you’re still alive. That’s what happens to the weak and the old in the wild. They get eaten alive, bit by bit, by scavengers like Jackals and Hyenas. I’ve seen this upfront, it’s not pretty.
2. In the absence of natural predators, a population of for example Antelope will explode. They can breed like rabbits! Once the population exceeds the carrying capacity of the local ecosystem, they all starve and the population collapses. Predation is necessary to maintain balance.
3. You are the apex predator. It’s a position of power but it also means you have responsibility. If you are too weak to pull the trigger, you might spare 1 life now, but you could cause greater damage down the line. Weak men cause endless suffering, strong men limit unnecessary suffering by applying pain, violence or even death when the situation calls for it. Long term sustainability is more important than short term comfort.
Sometimes you have to be “cruel” to be kind. And sometimes, it’s not a choice but an imperative. A little pain now or a lot of pain later.

I assume your not a philosophy fan, but some parts of this text reminds me a lot of Nietzsche, who was one of my favorite youth readings. A few passages comes to mind, hope it’s OK to post:

Completely agree. I was into philosophy more when I was young and dumb, and as such, was easily dazzled by big words. I’m 40 now, so I know better. In any case, some parts of Nitezche’s works if taken in moderation can still be useful or at least tolerated, as you say. Machiavelli is also still very a good read.
Compliant, self-effacing meekness of mediocrity has become the most desired role model nowadays. Indeed, Nietzsche’s Superman isn’t the mainstream culture, unfortunately. Yes Vic, you’re correct about his addiction to Valium but that was only towards his last few years after he returned from the U.S. And even then the book he wrote (transcribed by his followers) was one of his deepest works called “Notes of a Madman”. Nobody have your best interest in the world except yourself. The only person who can help you rise out of any hardship is yourself. Stand in front of the mirror and see your own reflection. That is your only hero and also your own villain. Any mental obstacles you create in your mind must be expunged immediately. You are your own problem but you are your own solution. That’s what makes Men become great. They are not born but they are made.
You can create your own tribe, group of your friends with same/similar mindset and mission, business partners, clients, but you must never give full trust to any of these people and only trust them for who they are and what they can do. Never have any high expectation from anyone because it leads to disappointment when that expectation of yours isn’t met. Always trust people for what they are… people… nothing more nothing less. Don’t trust them to have your back in hard times. You only trust yourself.
When someone you know decides to waste your time, cut them off completely. Yes you can even “burn the bridge”. Turn back and never contact them again.
And for the sake, do not hero worship anyone. You can learn positive traits among few people from here to there and apply to whatever works in your life but do not worship anyone out there just because they look like gurus or philosophers.
There will be many people that you meet throughout your life that will speak with charm, mesmerize you with words, evoke your emotions and elevate you and try to compliment you and suckle up to you… You must know people usually have agenda. Never fall for those. Remain neutral, stoic, and unfazed. You must tell them to get to the bottom line, and ask them “what do you want from me”? in stern, loud, and controlled tone.
Also just because they crack joke, and laugh doesn’t mean you have to laugh along. Many people do that automatically to want to appear polite and less “awkward” but just people someone smiles at you doesn’t mean you got to smile back. You smile, laugh, talk when you want to and if you want to.
When you talk to another man and/or listen during conversation, look straight through their eyes, your looks should pierce into their pupil and their lens. They should know that when talking to you, you are not the kind of person to be trampled on and they know that you have capability to hurt them if you want. You are not trying to start fight but you are showing any potential for that if it rises.
Anytime a salesman approach me trying to sale me something and I see their tactics like trying to get my emotions into play and do their rehearsal, I look straight at AND through their eyes and tell them right away “get to the bottom line”.. and then say “you are wasting my time”. And when the salesman becomes persistent and little more pushy, I start bowing up and tensing my shoulder and putting pressure in my eyes and imagine them to be my meal and reply with “NO”.
Flip the coin here… When you become the salesman however, be shameless…. Pursue relentless. Sale like there is no tomorrow. Now you would think that this is being hypocrite right? You don’t like aggressive salesman but yet when it comes to making money you become the best salesman. Yeah well guess what? Who cares if you become hypocrite, in fact you can. Only if it applies to you and you get what you want… the rest is history. Hypocrite? As long as money comes in, that is what should matter to you nothing else.

I vandalized stuff constantly as a kid. Me and my buddies kept score of how many tires we slashed and how many windows we’d break. I got up to 5 or so each in one week. Never got caught ONCE.
I remember being taken downtown for being involved in a barroom brawl at 22. We all walked home from the joint that morning and became buddies.
I’ve been caught driving with a suspended licence three times for not having car insurance. I once went 10 months without car insurance (only reason I got caught was cuz I didn’t update my tag, whoops.)
At my last job, which was just me slogging around at a retail joint (this was before I discovered B&D), I stole things constantly and ALWAYS got away with it. One night, a homeless guy grabbed a chick’s ass. I punched him square in the face cuz he didn’t know his place and completely got away with it. The cops and I joked about it when they arrived since the cameras in the store showed the homeless guy grabbing the chick’s ass THEN me hitting him. I paid a $50 fine for assault, homeless guy got hauled off to jail for sexual assault.
You MUST take risks and be an asshole (or better yet, a “well meaning asshole,” as the great George Carlin would put it) in order to succeed in anything. BUT you must be SMART about breaking the law (and the rules). If you just run around beating people up, driving 55 miles an hour in a school zone, and stealing things, you’re no better than the idiot who wants to play it safe.
Don’t like taking risks? Don’t enjoy avoiding trouble? Don’t feel comfortable being a miscreant but being smart enough to not get caught? Enjoy being the walking dead.

Also, I kinda disagree with Vic’s stand on child abuse. How does one develop the capacity to be cruel?
Three ways to do it:
1) Break the law. Doesn’t have to be anything crazy like destroying property or assault (although if you are over 18 and have not done any of those you need to do both now), but just break the law somehow. If you haven’t gotten in trouble with the law at least once before 25, you are doing something wrong. I used to run every red light I saw until I got caught. Took five whole years (18 until right before 24) to get caught. If you haven’t broken the law at least once before 25 (either gone to prison or paid a fine), you have no balls. No soul either.
2) Talk trash to someone on the internet. Could be me, Vic, whatever. Just insult someone online. Or, if you know how to fight, insult someone in person.
3) Inconvenience someone somehow. Pranks, doxxing (if you know how to do this), stealing, vandalism, whatever. Just make someone’s life miserable for a bit.

Your website has had a very positive motivating effect on me, like so many other young men and older men alike.
This year I started working out more than ever, determined that I am never defeated and nothing will stop me.
I have a concern though- for years you have said that one must train as hard as possible the first two years after they begin lifting or else they will find it exceedingly difficult to pack on meat after that period.
My concern is that I first joined a gym in 2015, and I went 4-6 days a week for most of a year, but I was ignorant and didn’t know what I was doing. I felt quite alone in my pursuit of improvement and did not know how to really drive for it and get results, and due to this and a dwindling financial situation I eventually just quit the gym.
After this, off and on once in a blue moon I would do some exercise, knowing I should, but I never really developed any consistency or (obviously) any muscle to show for it.
As I said, this year I took it up on a daily basis, pushing my body to exhaustion, eating steak and eggs twice a day, and NOTHING will stop me, but my question is:
Did I fuck myself?
By my young ignorance and losing of motivation when I first started lifting, did I completely waste the crucial period of 2 years for actually growing?
Or is there a light at the end of the tunnel where it doesn’t count unless you actually start making notable gains in the first place?
Of course I would >like< to hear something reassuring, but the truth is the truth.
If my ignorance and inexperience cost me so much then it is what it is and I'll just get over it.
If I DID blow my window, is there anything non-obvious that I can do to optimize my current drive to salvation?

Yes, there’s a lot of great points here.
I consider myself to be a very moral person, but I don’t necessarily base it on what other people think.
I don’t steal, lie, go around hurting people for no reason or anything like that. I even look to help people when I can and when it doesn’t take away from my life.
Usually though when people say I act immoral it is because I am acting in a way that does not benefit them in the way they desire regardless of whether or not it benefits me.
These are usually the most selfish people in this world that go around calling other people immoral. It is purely because THEY want something.
For example I currently do not see much benefit for settling down and getting married as a guy in the western world. I like to date around, have my freedom, improve myself and enjoy my life. Since this goes against some people’s deeply held beliefs about reality they get upset.
It has also been shown that when people gain power they tend to not see the rules as applying to them while at the same time demanding other people to follow the rules. This is just basic human psychology.
Lastly you often have to be cruel to be kind. The kindest thing is to live true to yourself (as long as you’re not blatantly causing direct harm to others). Most of the really sick people in this world have pent up frustrations that come out eventually as horrible behavior. This is also a big cause for countless failed marriages.
For a man, a woman appreciates it when a man lives how he wants and is not weak and controllable. It gives her a deeply attracted experience. Most of the time when a woman is with a weak man that does whatever she wants, she ends up despising him for it. Sometimes she despises him consciously and sometimes subconsciously.

Clenbuterol is a weight cutting, stamina enhancing substance that is banned in pro sport. But it only takes 24 hours to completely leave the system. You honestly think elite pro athletes don’t have hired pharmaceutical pros around them who don’t know this stuff?

Well i believe that anti-doping tests have also risen in sophistication, it is a bit like an arms race between 2 nations with both sides trying to keep ahead of the other.
I believe that doping is wrong, it was widespread in the former Eastern block, hence a lot of records set in that era are void. I stick to my belief that doping makes a mockery of sport competition. You say every body uses drugs in professional competition. Are you saying that Usain Bolt, Mohammed Farah or Michael Phelps, to name 3 major athletes are also using performance-enhancing drugs extensively?
