“I loved it.”
Those are the 3 words I would use to describe this last month.
It was the greatest month of my life.
What was so special about November?
November has always been my most productive month.
For whatever reason, when November rolls around I am so fired up to do great work that I can barely contain myself.
- In November 2011 I created 30 Days of Discipline, my seminal achievement.
- In November 2016 I released the now infamous New World Ronin which lead to the even more infamous Full Color Godcast.
This year was even better because I instilled 4 or 5 specific new habits that turned my world upside down (in a good way).
These 4 or 5 new habits took me to a higher level.
Last November I decided to do 30 articles in 30 days. I called it 30 Days of Blogging.
This year, I wanted to do the exact same thing. So I did.
On top of that I ate one meal a day, I practiced complete celibacy (not just of the body but of the mind), I stretched every day, I woke up at 5am and went to sleep at 8pm, I blessed my food before I ate it, and I mostly only ate meat.
Before I explain the method behind the madness, let's take a quick look at the 30 articles…

The #1 Runaway Hit
This article became the runaway hit of the series.
This article was released on a Saturday and got more views nearly instantly than all the other articles.
Some articles you never believe will be a hit. Others you believe are your best work get the most hate.
The Most Hated Article
This has probably been the most hated article I've ever done and, actually, it's my favorite piece of work I've ever done.
Like I said, the ones you like they seem to hate and the ones you don't care for, they seem to love.
The Best Article
Judging from the comments, this was the best article of the series.
“You have A LOT of great posts on your blog, but THIS one is one of the best. Most of your articles fire me up and motivate me, but only few of your works speak to my soul and will stay with me forever. This post is one of them. I will probably read it one hundred times over the years.” -Alexander
“This is your best article yet. Thank you.” -Stephanie
“A great work of art that what you are Victor. This is inspirational and believe me this has awaken me to the reality. Now I have to revisit my works and made sure they fulfill their purpose.” -Reuben
The response from the readers was incredible.
We had our best month of ebook sells in many years.
These 30 articles and 5 podcast articles brought in 1,078 user comments.
Traffic went up nearly 50%.
Notes for Blog Artists
Tuesday and Thursday are the best days to release articles.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are dead days for bloggers.
These are the best days to release articles, in order:
- Tuesday
- Thursday
- Wednesday
- Monday
- Sunday
- Friday
- Saturday
If you want something you publish to get the most immediate attention, publish it on a Tuesday or a Thursday.
This is one reason I always release an episode of the B&D; Podcast every Thursday.
The method behind the madness
This November was a busy month.
Was it hard?
Actually, it wasn't hard in the slightest.
Doing the work is only hard when you don't have the brainpower, concentration, and energy.
When I fixed my diet, I fixed nearly every problem I had.
The Carnivore Diet has been a miracle sent down from heaven to me.
I combined the carnivore diet with OMAD (one meal a day).
Eating only one meal a day intensified the already great results I got from the carnivore diet.
This month the work was almost too easy.
I was able to finish my daily work by the time the sun was at its peak.
Every single day I did more work by 11 am than I used to do in an entire week.
2pm for me was like 7pm for most people.
I wrote so much and so often that I had all of the article written and ready to go by the 15th of the month. Though I kept on writing and have much material ready for the future.
If I ever go “off the rails” again and stop producing killer content it is because I “fell off the wagon” and started eating sugar again.
There would be no other explanation.
The 30 day challenge kept me on perfect track and opened my eyes in ways I never thought would happen.
The whole thing even became spiritual. I started to understand and appreciate God, or nature, or universe.
I learned that if you follow the laws of nature, you prosper. If you break the laws of nature, you suffer.
After 2 weeks the diet and the waking up at 5am stopped being hard and simply became normal.
And more than normal... everything I was doing felt “right.”
MONK MODE
I lived like a modern monk for the entire month.
You might assume that this would be dull, boring, or even painful but actually the opposite became true.
This became the happiest and most satisfying month of my life.
I reached new “spiritual heights” while seemingly “denying” myself earthly pleasures.
I sacrificed one thing to get another thing.
This was one of the very best months of my entire life and I plan to write out this plan for you in a new ebook entitled…
MONK MODE: Your Guide to Total Productivity and The Path to the Ultimate
I have turned what was once hard, the work, into something that is terribly easy.
I have “piggy-backed” off of the habits described in 30 Days of Discipline and I have turned them to overdrive.
But instead of being aggressive and agitated, and I am always calm, cool, and collected.
Hence the title … Monk Mode.
(Who knew that at the end of the 30 Days of Discipline rainbow you would find spiritual harmony as well the ability to create great work any time you wish…)
Anybody can do what I have done and make their work become super easy if you first do a few very hard things and change your bad habits into good habits.
I won't lie - changing the habits was the hard part.
It was 2 weeks of torture to get me to the heaven I found.
But after the new habits were formed, my life and my productivity just got better and better.
Monk Mode is not so “different” from 30 Days of Discipline, it is rather a continuation of 30 Days of Discipline.
What Monk Mode does is follow 30 Days of Discipline to its logical conclusion (the journey to the ultimate).
(If you want to see a Monk Mode program, let me know.)
5-Star Friday
One of the most popular things I've started is the 5-Star Friday email series.
Each Friday I send out a list of 5 things I'm enjoying or pondering.
The response to this email series has been overwhelmingly positive.
5-Star Friday ONLY goes out to people on the Bold and Determined email list.
If you're not on the list, you will miss it. Too bad for you because 5-Star Friday has received the most positive response of anything I've done since 2011.
You can signup below to receive 5-Star Friday.
What was your favorite article of the 30 Articles in 30 Days series?
Leave a comment and let me know.
Until next time.

PS - Because we had such good success selling 30 Days of Discipline at $7, we have extended this sale to the end of the year. Get it now and change your life.

Thanks for the early Christmas Victor.
While I’ll readily admit that I failed the 30 day NoFap challenge a day before the first week, it was not a complete loss.
I had an “Aha!” moment when I started eating more meat, and less sugar.
My Willpower increased significantly!
I only have urges to fap (and other forms of degeneracy) when I’ve eaten a lot of sugar. Avoid it like the plague and focus on steak and eggs, and I’m unbreakable. My mood is calmer now too.
In addition I have been getting my circadian rhythm, going to bed around 9-10, though I’m just now waking up around sunrise. I’m also amping up my training, as I have more willpower and energy, and fat to lose. Body of a Spartan, full force. In a month I’ll be looking more lean, and even more mean.
My top two favorite articles were “10 Things Every Struggling Artist Needs To Know” and “The Way of Working Alone”, in that order. It’d be cool to see more lone ronin-esque content out. I also made sure to keep my windows open at all times.
Looking forward to the Monk Mode book, and whatever else is to come.
Regards,
-Justin N.
I always love waking up to a new article from you. That’s usually how I start my morning. Victor you should write 365 articles in 365 days in 2019. Now that would be awesome. We love your articles.
Careful what you wish for…
Very nice, Victor. I’m glad you’re enjoying this process. We learned a lot with your experience as well. I can’t say I’m ready for certain changes, but then again I haven’t lived through the same things you do and not every experience feels for me as you describe them, but I’m always interested in learning more and getting to know new things. I’ll soon make the full transfer to the carnivore diet. I’m eager to.
The only thing I missed in 5-Star Friday was actually a way to comment on each email besides getting here to the blog to the very first post about it. Sending you an email would be hectic for you, I imagine, getting too many replies.
The podcasts were a great way to talk about a variety of topics, helping people, giving some more hardlines on those who needed it and simply getting to know you better. It was a good thing you started it.
Now, to my experience.
I’ve followed NoFap November strictly and even though I didn’t feel all that different I did come to have a few realizations that were positive for me. Some things just “clicked”. Frankly, I feel much the same as I was before, but there is a sense of positivity behind it. Something akin to… “I can do whatever I want just because I want to by just telling myself I’ll do it.”
Then there was this incredible thing you said on your last podcast: lust is… unnecessary.
I felt that during this month’s challenge. I felt it is very much *more* mental than anything else. This was one of the strongest realizations for me, one that is deeper than I’m being able to describe right now.
You know, I’ll stick with the “NoFap” (still think it’s a weird name) way for longer. I believe I still have more to learn about it. And I’ll talk about my carnivore experience soon.
Good luck with your next endeavors, and keep letting us know what you’re finding out.
Yes, I’m interested in hearing about your Monk Mode experience.
Cheers, Victor!
By the way, I liked the carnivore diet posts very much, but this one took the prize for me this past November: “The Hidden Knowledge of Health and Wellness (How You Can Help People)”. The very last one. It ringed true.
“It ringed true.”
It *rang true. Ringed is not the correct word.
Indeed, thanks. :)
Do you prefer us to point out typos on the posts via comments or the contact form?
On the post.
The daily flow will be missed.
Well done.
I liked all the articles in November. My favorite was “Why Cold Weather Is Good For You.” I’m a long time fan so I wasn’t really suprised that all your work lately was excellent. I’m so glad that you’ve been able to find a new way of feeling incredible as you produce great content. I always learn from your examples so thank you kindly for that.
I have to focus more on myself and learn to find my original voice. I often sit down to write for at least 2 hours and find it hard not to sound trite or boring. I love your work and I have other influences but its important that I say it in my own way.
I truly believe that if I follow the guiding ways you have laid out, I’ll find my path. Happy Holidays to you, all your loved ones, and all B&D readers.
I just remembered “Originality is overrated, copying is key” from your post 10 Things Every Struggling Artist Needs to Know. Seems I need to think on this one.
A monk mode guide would be great.
Magic of focus was my favorite one for the month, actually.
Great work, as usual! I had a great time attempting 30 days of doing something difficult, came out to 20/30, but that’s better than I’ve ever done, and will easily get 31/31 for December (and forever after that).
“MONK MODE: Your Guide to Total Productivity and The Path to the Ultimate”
FUCK YEAH.
Eating meat completley stop suicidal thoughts ?
The NoFap November article changed my life because I actually did it. Thank you
Great work this month. I’m proud of what I accomplished as well (30 podcasts in 30 days).
Completely agree with your notion that habits make the mind sharp. I wasn’t ‘doing’ much (going out, drinking, talking to people at bars, having sex, watching the news) so I had to be creative in coming up with content. I think that made for really entertaining and intellectually challenging material.
Victor, my friend. I am joining you on this path to the ultimate, to complete self mastery.
I will definitely be buying the MONK MODE Ebook or course.
You are a true inspiration, the articles and the podcasts you have been releasing have been mind blowing, complete works of a true genius!
Your right about no fab victor share this vedio in your next podcast it confirms everything you’ve ever said about pornography it has Steve jobs, Nikola testka and countless other Greek,Roman and modern day philosophers views on semen retention. Hell it even has ted bundy the serial killer admit that he had a pornography addiction as do many other violent psychopaths. Keep up the work.

It was the most productive month of my life.
Put me into action mode and I loved producing new articles every day.
Damn, should have done this waaay before…
Bodymindrev started to get tons of traffic as well.
More than that, I discovered “writing” was my gift to the universe. I must write or I will die.
The days I haven’t written were torture. I felt the pain if I did not do the work.
Now, I am looking at my version 1 month ago…
I am different, totally.
One of the best decisions of my life.
“The whole thing even became spiritual. I started to understand and appreciate God, or nature, or universe.”
I experienced this, too. My spiritual part has evolved in this process.
Congratulations, Vic. When You will publish Monk Mode?
Hey Victor,
Did you manage to stick with your cycle of Red Growth for the 30 days?
And what were the results in the end?
I put off the Red Growth cycle to stick with and log the progress of one meal a day (article coming soon). The Red Growth cycle will be happening in the new year.
Thank you for your great work this last month!
Did a high fat diet ever, even initially, give you an overt sense of fullness/sluggishness? Maybe I can’t digest fats well..
Second, what happened when you combined meat with carbs, e.g. beef and potatoes? My grandpa ate this daily and was strong as an ox.
Third, what is your blood type? Just curious.
Thanks
Karl
For the first few days there is a transition period, yes. Regarding digesting fats, if you have never eaten fat before it’s going to take time to get used to them.
“Second, what happened when you combined meat with carbs, e.g. beef and potatoes?”
Terrible things. You will understand that carbs are not food after you have spent time eating natural food (i.e. the carnivore diet).
I’m curious though because meat and potatoes or meat and veggies, like tubers, has been a facet of many healthy, ultra-energetic societies and people of the past.
And I wonder why you are reluctant to reveal blood type. I don’t know if it is too personal, but it would just be useful in anecdotally figuring out who does well on a high fat diet. I writhe in pain and I can’t function. I have carnivore friends who are ultra energetic on a diet mostly consisting of fatty fish like the inuits, but can’t tolerate red meat.
Also, it seems like the longest lived people, such as Okinawans, combine pork with tubers (like yams) and are very sharp and healthy into their 90s.
I must ask-when eating carbs, did you have afternoon brain fog and lack of dopamine (i.e. no mental clarity, sleepiness, no ability to do anything productive)?
Thanks
Read this: https://eatmeatdrinkwater.files.wordpress.com/2018/07/the-bears-words-of-wisdom.pdf
Compelling and excellent read.
The bear though, got throat cancer and died in a car crash. Hardly the picture of good long-term health or good fortune, for that matter.
OK, I won’t ask about blood type again because I guess feel it is personal or not worth revealing for some reason. No problem, I understand.
Thanks
Karl
He was a pot smoker. Throat cancer easily explained.
Do you feel that your insides are light/clean or does the high fat ever leave you feeling like a stone?
Many zero carbers report initial constipation as an issue, going days between bowel movements. This, while it may be ok from a strict physical standpoint, doesn’t intuitively seem optimally healthy. I assume this has not been a problem for you?
Some also take oranges for vitamin c, I suppose this is OK to add.
Do you feel like your IQ is higher? Is it easier to remember things/make connections? I’m excited to give it a try, cautious, but excited if this is the case.
There are no issues whatsoever on the all meat diet.
Thank you for the link.
Did you stop doing 1 piece a day or are you going to continue?
Try 3 pieces a day buddy. I did it earlier this year and hit nearly 90 pieces in a month, and I was eating tons of sugar.
Just some thoughts my friend.
There were times where I wrote 2 and even 3 articles per day. Good ones too.
hey man I loved that magic of focus video haha you speak the truth
Vic,
Thank you for answering my question about the tummy. Since then, I have been only eating once, and I’ve been getting leaner and leaner and I feel so great on the Carnivore diet.
30 DAYS Results:
My goal was to break sales records on my e-commerce store. Little did I know all I had TO DO is one perfect listing per day to accomplish that. Now I can go to Asia and replicate the great work over there. My favorite article — “how to overcome writer’s block”
Thank you for helping me get lean, get paid and battle the procrastinator voice in my head… all at the same time. Hope to meet you one day in Asia, if you ever go again.
—Johnny
Every month is no fap month. I’ve been on the No-fap train for over six years now, and it’s undoubtedly one of the best moves I’ve ever made. It has increased my strength, confidence, charisma, energy levels, ability to deal with problems, etc. It took me over two years to learn how to harness the raging bull, but if you can stick it out long enough to plateau/get used to it, it’s fantastic. You have to get past the stage of wanting to tackle everything you see.
I also lift weights/exercise in some way almost every day, and I get grumpy if I miss too many days of working out. Waking up early and dressing well is also a home run.
There is much wisdom here in Victor’s blog. Next up will be trying the all meat and eggs diet. I couldn’t find the article of the day until I realized it was December 1st….
Best wishes to you guys out there. This advice is real
I certainly want to see the Monk Mode Program.
I would also like to see a monk mode guide.
Vic, do you think certain Africans or monks are able to do well on plant diets, or is this a hoax? I’d like to get your opinion on Dr Nun Amun Ra, a supposedly one meal a day vegan monk who holds the world record in deadlifting for his weight class, claiming that natural growth hormone is generated in abundance via fasting. Also claims to use no steroids. Any chance a person, even a black guy with superior genetics, could look like this as a natty vegan?

Another similar (white) guy is Hench Herbivore on youtube.
Really trying to conclusively determine if any non-meat exceptions are present for healthy living or if any of these “Exceptions” is either a fraud or a one-in-a-million genetic elite.
Karl
Go check Vegan Gains’ video on Dr Nun Amun Ra. He exposed him as a liar.
Reader since Fall of ’15 here
Commented maybe only a handful of times but was smart enough to get 30 DoD and BOAS right away, definitely the catalyst that got me to take care of my body and health.
Appreciate your work and the impact it’s had on myself/others.
Loved NWR and gave a couple as gifts.
Upped the ante in November and practiced complete celibacy as well and quit all substances, not just fapping. I’ll never drink, smoke or fap again.
Ran two Spartan Sprints, ate more steaks and crushed more workouts than any month ever before.
Nearing my heaviest yet leanest of all time record and I was on TRT last time, all natty now.
I truly believe Monk Mode will be your greatest gift of art so far.
Looking forward to it.
The longer we keep up the discipline the easier it gets.
Keep killin’ it
Why is New World Ronin infamous?
