Subj: The 3D plan to take back your life (Dopamine Deload Day)
—
Ever have one of those days where you eat junk all day, surf the net all day, watch tv all day…
And at the end of the day you feel like a horrible piece of shit that got nothing done?
That is because you spent a day being “rewarded” by dopamine and not doing anything productive.
Don't those days feel like you have no control of your life?
The answer is yes of course, but the question is why? Why do those days happen? And why do these days prevent you from doing anything productive?
Let me answer these questions for you…
Everyday you're bombarded with things that flood your brain with dopamine.
Things like: Smartphones, social media, television entertainment, music entertainment, internet pornography, video games and others.
All for these things entertain you (and they give you such a dopamine rush that they become highly addictive).
Unfortunately, while you are entertained your brain is essentially “off” or in a trance.
These things reward you with dopamine and because they reward you with dopamine, your brain doesn't need to do anything.
The more you are entertained, the worse you feel about yourself and the less confidence you have.
Self-discipline withers away and you become lost in the world of dopamine rushes.
These constant dopamine drugs seem to reduce you to a mere bystander in your life rather than a commander of your life.
But I have a fix for you…
How To Stop Being a Bystander and Start Being a Commander
To conquer this nasty addiction to dopamine agents, and to stop being a bystander and start being a commander, this is what you can do…
Take one day to do a “dopamine fast.”
What is a dopamine fast?
A dopamine fast, or dopamine deload day, is this…
Spend the entire day doing the opposite of what you normally do.
In the modern world, everything we do rewards our dopamine systems (and in the process makes our life more unpleasant).
Phone, computers, apps, food, sex, masturbation, video games…
Everything we do “rewards” us with dopamine, which makes us completely impulsive, over-stimulated, completely impatient, and highly unproductive.
Because everything we do “rewards” us with dopamine, we never get around to doing work that actually matters.
In fact…
We never even develop the ability to do work that matters.
To do great work, one thing is vitally important.
The #1 thing that is vitally important to doing great work is called…
IMAGINATION.
It is the imagination that is the great divide between great men and average/weak men.
Without a strong ability to imagine your great work in your mind, you will never develop the ability to create the great work in reality.
And when you are constantly bombarded with dopamine increasing agents (like YouTube, internet porn, smartphone apps etc.) you never take the time to be alone with your thoughts.
So just do the opposite.
Be alone with your thoughts and do nothing else.
Being alone with your thoughts is they key to becoming great.
If you're never alone with your thoughts, you will never develop or create anything. Ever.
As long as you remain a slave to modern entertainment, and its dopamine rewards, you will always be the loser that wastes his day doing nothing productive.
Everything that was ever created, every great work that was ever produced, was first produced in the imagination of the creator.
To produce this great work, it is important to spend time alone and away from dopamine increasing agents.
This is why I suggest you spend the day on a dopamine fast.
On your dopamine fast, these things are completely outlawed:
- Rich and/or sweet food
- Sex
- Masturbation
- Phone
- Computer
- Television
- Music
- Podcasts
- Video games
- Caffeine
- Alcohol
- Marijuana
- Drugs of any kind
- Any other stimulating or dopamine rewarding activity
Here is what is allowed:
- Your imagination
That's it.
That is all you are allowed on the dopamine fast.
You must spend the day with nothing but your imagination.
- A notebook and a pen is not outlawed, but they are also not necessary and are completely optional.
- Food is not outlawed but rich/sweet food is. It is suggested to take the day off from food, but is not completely necessary. If you do eat food it must be plain food.
You must confront yourself, you must be alone with yourself, and you must develop your imagination.
You can call it “meditation”, you can call it “prayer”, or you can call it “brain training.” All are the same method.
This is the exact method that all of the great inventors, poets, artists, architects, and composers of the past used to develop their tremendous abilities.
There would be no Johann Sebastian Bach, Nikola Tesla, Leonardo DaVinci, or William Shakespeare without this method of imagination training.
If you want to be great, you have to follow in the footsteps of yesterday's greats.
The imagination MUST be trained.
Your imagination is just like a muscle. If you don't train it, you don't have the ability to use it. Without use it will whither away.
To train your imagination, you must stay away from dopamine rewarding gadgets and technology.
Spend the day in the woods or at home.
But do not allow yourself to be “rewarded” with dopamine from outside sources.
You must develop your inner ability to create in your mind so that you can then create in reality.
Imagination training, via your dopamine fast, is what will directly lead to real results in your life.
Riches, wealth, women and power all came from the same place….
The mind of a great man who spent time in solitude thinking about how to create and achieve it.
The Buddha told us this when he said…
“The mind is everything. What you think, you become.”
The Holy Bible tells us this in Mark 11:24…
“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them.”
Verily, Victor Pride says unto you…
Think it, dream it, believe it, and then achieve it.
Just don't forget step one…
THINK IT.
Instead of wasting the day on nonsense, you could spend the day thinking about your great work.
It has worked for so many great men before you.
It can work for you, too.
Until next time.
Your man,
-Victor Pride

I read something a while ago about impulse control.
The article had a suggestion to do something very similar to what you suggest here. The process was for 7 days you would do nothing but wake, lift, and read books that you wanted to learn something from. If you had a job or a business to run then you would go to the work when you needed too, but other than that you would be reading, lifting, and sticking to a sleep schedule.
Given that pen and paper are so useful in aiding the imagination, I personally would add in those two items to the approved list.
The purpose of the week was to develop impulse control; very similar to what you are doing now. Often times the first refusal of engaging in a bad habit is enough to break the cycle. Others may find it takes longer, but simply seeing what your day is like without your vice can be enough of a push to make a bigger change. Truly, the modern world is a cage made of screens, drugs, and lack of balance.
When I am caught up with my responsabilities I will certainly be doing this. Thanks Vic.
That is correct. Fasting will show you what you are made of.
Many great men in history knew this.
All holy books talk about this.
There is nothing to argue, just do it.
Again a great articel from Uncle Vic,
In short: Start to think for yourself!
A book that I recommend is: Outwilling the Devil from Napoelon Hill
Thanks Vic
You must be dopamine fasting these days, cause this month there are so many great posts in your blog.
This article opened my eyes… thank you Vic!
are you allowed to do something outdoorsy, like hiking, going to the park, surfing, maybe even archery or hunting or something like that?
All of that is fine.
Word, i feel it.
Love it. This is one of the reasons why I love getting up early, either to blog or write music. In the early mornings, no-one else is awake, there are no distractions, and you can let your imagination flow onto the page, or just write music in a stream of consciousness.
Great article.
I have done this dopamine fast in past and it’s amazing. After my fast when I heard music it sounded deep and amazing just like on classic psychedelics like LSD. I did water only fast for day and dopamine fast next 2 days. Mental clarity that you get is next level
I wrote a 4k article about “dopamine management” which is exactly what you describe here VIC.
If every white male would do proper dopamine management then whites wouldn’t be a dying sub-species of humanity.
Here is what I do:
I go camping for 3 days and take a pen and a note block with me at the end of every month.
You can go home between the days but you can’t really do anything artificial.
You can visit your family and play board games, you can enjoy nature, you can read books, repair things in the house, get rid of things you don’t need.
Nothing artificial.
After those 3 days, you are very refreshed, just like you came back from a very good vacation.
Hello Vik, always liked your blog, but after reading this post I truly had to leave a comment: THIS IS PURE GOLD. It teaches you how to destroy at the roots the “modern life hydra” thus getting rid of weakness of character, no control over you and your life, laziness, uselessness and so on.
I have been knowing this trick for a long time after reflecting upon my experience, however, your writing really hits the point in explaining how to be free (real freedom, not the one they teach you ahah), it is really well explained and helped me cope with what I knew and taught me something new.
Keep on, warrior
Thanks for the Saturday podcast !! Thought I was trippin lol
I feel like this is written for me, it controls everything..
For improving your imagination there is a great technique out there called image streaming. You basically let your mind go and you try to descirbe loud and vividly the images in your head. I did this for ten minutes every day for the past week and the images in my mind already became more clear.
good article vic. I am just fed up with losers complaining about low libido or erectile dysfunction. People always talk about low libido but somehow manage to orgasm with the ED and low libido..DAILY. I know one guy who has chronic health issues for 15 years. Doctors keep telling him it’s in his head and that hes fine and normal. BULLOCKS LOL. This guy jerks off to porn and finishes 5 - 8 times a day, he can’t stop. He never took any drug like viagra or whatever the fuck is out there and he is a very sick man. This man simply cannot stop. He even tells me he orgasms even without an erection. Nothing will help this guy since the human body is not made to finish 8 times a day. No drug or medicine will help this poor man.
I keep hearing stories like “wow, I took this and that and I finished 4 times yesterday and had no ED or low libido afterwards!! wow!! but eventually it stopped working but I orgasmed 24 times in a week last week. Hell I need to find a drug thats strong enough to let me handle finishing 24 times a week” Are people like this serious? The human body is not made to finish 24 times in a week.
People need to stop looking for dopamine hits over and over again. Go move your body and eat a balanced diet. You are your only doctor. Doctors these days are just clowns I tell you. Your health will go to shit if you constantly jerk off to porn and play vidya games on top of that. If you are reading this and you are in a similar state like that guy above that I talked about, stop living your life in your room and go outside for once~!
Good stuff! I created a similar thing on my blog called the “72 Hour Airplane Mode Challenge” where music and stuff are still allowed but anything involving the internet is not allowed. It’s for people who may not be perfectly capable of doing 3D, but are still interested in doing something like it. I would call the 72 Hour Airplane Mode Challenge almost like preparation for 3D.
Its really nice to see that there are other people out there who share my vision.
A friend of mine calls dopamine “flavorless gum,” I think its a good analogy.
I’m 31yo. I hope it isn’t too late to take back my life
